Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.
Paul, an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
to the holy ones who are in Ephesus
and faithful in Christ Jesus:
grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens,
as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world,
to be holy and without blemish before him.
In love he destined us for adoption to himself through Jesus Christ,
in accord with the favor of his will,
for the praise of the glory of his grace
that he granted us in the beloved.
In Christ we have redemption by his Blood,
the forgiveness of transgressions,
in accord with the riches of his grace that he lavished upon us.
In all wisdom and insight, he has made known to us
the mystery of his will in accord with his favor
that he set forth in him as a plan for the fullness of times,
to sum up all things in Christ, in heaven and on earth. EPH 1:1-10
St. Paul sums up for us our Christian identity today, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and without blemish before him.” We must get to know Jesus Christ, we can do nothing without Him. We must get to know Him personally and allow Him to be the center of our lives so that we imitate Him more perfectly and grow in holiness each day. Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He has revealed all we need to know to become a saint!
It doesn’t matter who you are or what you did, Jesus will always love you.
I just like this passage.
God is divine yet we treat him like hes a distraction another thing to do. He is so much more than that he is not a chore. He is the way to true happyness not a waste of time. You need to want to enjoy time talking to Jesus “time enjoyed is not time wasted”
In the Gospel today, Paul talks about how we are from Christ so we should serve Christ. God planned on us being made, and has a plan for all of us. He know who we are, were, and who we will become. God is the only person who knows us better than ourselves, because he is all-knowing. Since he is the one who made us, we should strive to be holy for him and serve him.
We should get to know and understand God. God is always there for us and knows us. We should talk to God and love him.
This scipture tells me that I need to be thankful that Jesus died on the cross for my sins, that I also need to sacrifice myself somedays! I need to know (in the bad times) that God loves me and will die over and over for me, therefore I need to sacrifice for my family, for Jesus and the souls in purgitory.
I can reflect on this scripture by realizing that Jesus has blessed everyone of us with his glory
Since God is divine, and we are sinners, we have to go to purgatory to remove our sin so that we can enter heaven and stand before God without blemish, so that we can worship him in the entirety of his glory.
What i got from todays scripture is that God is truly human and divine. God made us for a purpose, and before we were born he knew what was going to happen in our lives. And when we pray to god and ask him for something he might not always respond in the way we want, but in the way that is best for us
