Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.
As Jesus drew near Jerusalem,
he saw the city and wept over it, saying,
“If this day you only knew what makes for peace–
but now it is hidden from your eyes.
For the days are coming upon you
when your enemies will raise a palisade against you;
they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides.
They will smash you to the ground and your children within you,
and they will not leave one stone upon another within you
because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.” Lk 19:41-44
Jesus wept? We all know how we feel when we see someone weeping. We instantly show compassion and reach out to them. Sometimes we forget that Jesus is human. He is weeping over Jerusalem failing to see God in their midst at this moment. The One to save them. The most important lesson though is, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace.” If you do not make Jesus the center of your life (eat, sleep, and breathe Him), then you will not have peace. Our hearts desire peace, heaven.
The opposite? Destruction. The beautiful thing is that God gives us a free will to choose. We get to choose our destiny, Christ already paid the bill for our sins. I am sure you have tried a lot of other things to bring you peace, I know I have. Give Jesus a try. You will not be let down.
Today’s challenge: When you weep, remember Jesus wept too. Jesus died to be with you in your weeping. Allow Him in. Give Jesus a chance to bring what your heart desires, peace.
Be a servant, become a saint!

In this reading Jesus sees the city and told us that much more things that can happen and not everything is peaceful
I can apply this scripture to my life by making Jesus the center of my life instead of objects. If I make Jesus the center of my life I will have more peace within me.
Today I will try to be calm and peacefull. I will also ask Jesus for peace when ever I get angry of frustrated.
I can apply this to my life by striving every day for peace in what I do, say and act. If I’m kind and show peace to people it will spread and other people will show peace too. If I strive for peace everyday like Jesus did, I will get to heaven.
Jesus was ashamed that was going to happen to this city so much that he wept over it. Jesus wept about he things He cared care like we do when we do when we cares about a loved one or something we cared deeply fr that has gone. If we reflect off of Jesus’s like we can find things that we have in common and can sometimes bring us to peace with ourselves.
I really liked this reading because it makes it easier for us to relate to Jesus. I think that a lot of the time our excuse for not being like Jesus is that he is God so he isn’t like us. That isn’t true though because he was human too. Jesus wen’t through all of the same stuff we wen’t through. So i think that if we strive to be like him we will become saints. You just have to remeber when you mess up that Jesus went through rough times too.
When the scripture says that Jesus wept over Jerusalem, i think of Jesus weeping for our sins and wants to get rid of the sin.
giving Jesus a chance is more beneficial then ever is what spoke out to me
I think I can reflect on this because I do feel like we do forgwt that Jesus wasnt just a person up in the sky he was on ground and he lived for us and he died for us yet he still went through all that pain yet we keep putting ourselves before others always never the other way around
This scripture reminds me how we are blinded by material things and satan, and we can’t see God. We should take action and encourage others to empower the Word of God with us aswell!
Jesus saw what He made and people have ruined it. This is kinda what is going on right now in our world with people righting and abortion. God made this world and people have destroed it. God gave us free will and even though we abuse it God still loves us and still gives us free will.
This scripture is telling me that sometimes if you do the right thing some people won’t believe you and you have to make them believe.
What i got from this is that Jesus is weeping over the choices that we make. And he wants us to be the creations that God made us to be. And when we sin and fall away from Jesus, we are turning to the devil and when we fall to he devil he makes us think that things that are good are bad and things that are bad good. He does this so that we will always think we are doing the right thing when we aren’t.
Something that stood out to me today was that Jesus was a human too. He went through all the things we go through as a human, and He was able to experience pain. He went through many painful things and even was tortured, crucified, and killed on a cross for our sake. Sometimes we just forget that he was an actual person too, and he was able to experience feelings and pain and suffering. Sometimes we just take it for granted like yeah, that happened. Moving on. But we need to recognize that it wasn’t anything easy, and God was made man, so He was able to suffer for us.
I can apply this to my life through the fact that I need to give myself up to others and especially God.
Today the gospel is saything that Jesus is crying over the city of Jeruselem because they failed to see God in their midsts. This is saying that when we fail to see Jesus, he weeps because his children have been lost in sin and he wants to find us and bring us back to him.
Jesus is weeping because the people were fighting. Jesus wantes everyone in peace and to want to live in peace even if they are enemies.
this means we need to recognize jesus is human and he had feelings too. it also showns how we need to make jesus the center of our life
Jesus has feelings. This is true because Jesus is God and God is love. He loves us more than we can imagine.
I can apply this to my life so i can make jesus the center of my life and be like him
I can focus more on Jesus, and I can ask him to help me get through the tough times in life.
I think that the scrimpute means that he saw the city full of people and swept it over will grace. I can aply this to my life by praying to others and praying and speding it on.
This scripture today means to me is that Jesus is humble. Humility is the best thing someone can be. Jesus was so humble that he turned into man, the lowest of the low, and cared for the lowest class of people even tax collectors. We should strive to be like Jesus. Humble. Get well soon! #Christian Yolo
I think it is saying that we should be ready for whatever is coming.
One thing that I loved was that Jesus was never afraid. He always believed in himself and other people. I believe that we should do that too. We always get caught up in our own lives and not worrying about our selves when we need to think of others before us like Jesus did. He died for us, and he payed the price. He was just a human being, like us.
Today this gospel is telling me to be calm and peaceful. Becaus ein this story it was talking about how the city needs to be peaceful and nice to there enimies. So today I will try very hard to be in a good mood and to be nice and peaceful.
I think that the scriputer means that he saw the city of greatness and fulled it with grace. I can apply this to my life by praying for everyone and spreding it on with everyone.
I think that through this gospel, Jesus is trying to tell me to appreciate the liitle things in life, because it won’t b e there forever. And Jesus was a living, breathing human being, just like we are, and everyday we make mistakes and we think we suffer, but God literally sent His only Son, Jesus down to Earth, so that He could die, not for His sins, but ALL of OUR sins.
Jesus is weeping because of us and our sins. We need to be more mindful of the things we do and let him help us to grow and be better.
It shocks me every time I read something about Jesus weeping or getting mad. I always forget Jesus has emotions too. I think it is much easier to relate to him when I read about his emotions, but I easily forget.
What stuck out to me in this Gospel passage was this, “As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying,
‘If this day you only knew what makes for peace– but now it is hidden from your eyes.'” I love how Jesus loved us so much that he wept for us. There are so many of us that don’t know how to come and rest in His peace. He is peace, love, and our hope. If only we knew that He is the answer that He is the reason we are here, maybe the world would be a better place.
Jesus is saying that God is with them and they don’t realize it. Jesus is the center of our lives we need to remember that. If we make Jesus the center of our lives there will be peace. The Devil is throwing what ever he can at us to keep us away from God, we need to resist temptation and remember that Jesus died for us so that there will be peace. We need to keep that peace intact to bring joy in having compassion for others, and not bringing sadness to others for fighting.
I like this becuase it shows that we can be just like God he was human too, even though he couldn’t sin he still was human so we can be like God and still be Christ-like and loving toward everyone. He suffered too and went through way more than us …dying on the cross for US! This shows me we can do all things with Christ and him with us.
This scripture meant to me that Jesus was a human to on this same Earth. He went through all the stuff we do and was in the same world we are in today
In this Scripture passage Jesus explains to us about loving your enemies because that can come back to haunt you and who knows maybe you could become friends one day. So today I will apply this to my life by when I have arguments with a friend I will try my best to not have a grudge against them and not nag the person that I am having the argument with.
It tells me that Jesus wept when we comitted sin and He still is today.
I think that this scripture is saying to me that sometimes when you do the right thing, you will be made fun of it. So you should try to do the right thing no matter what. Because if not you would be doing the wrong thing.
The gospel is telling me today that if we dont wait for the 2nd coming or the visitation we will not seced in our Catholic life and will get stomp on by the devil and oue enimies.
I think that todays passage is telling me to treat everyone as a person. Because somtimes people treat other people like they arn’t humans. But we have to remember that we are all God’s creation. And that no matter if a person is in jail or won a Nobel Prize, we still have to treat everyone like they belong
This scripture is saying that Jesus went throught tradgic things that we today have gone through or is going through.Yes he was perfect in every way possible but he still gone through the things us human do.He died on the cross for us and we should remind ourselves this everyday.Jesus wants us to be in peace and not have to worry, love your enemies.
To me the scripture was saying that we must have compassion and believe those who are right. To see truth and through the lies, like the city that is hidden from the eye, we must see it. Jesus wept over it becuase we didn’t see His truth.
I like this passage because it is Jesus telling us the litteral future- well out the time, right now it’s the past. He is predicting the fall of the temple at the hands of their enimies. Jesus is so sad that his people were to blind to see God right infront of them, and he knows the sorrow that is coming to them. Jesus is teaching us that we need to open our eyes to see him, so that our future in the afterlife is not doomed to Gahenna by the evil one, but rather he wants us to be able to live with hi in Heaven.
this tells us that we are to attached to material things when god should be our number one
Today this is telling me that we really need to appreciate what God did for us He died to save us from our sins God really loves us and we need to love him. We need to also help out other people even if it’s just praying for them.
When it says Jesus wept in jerusalem it shows how much he cares about everyone. He really cares for everything like he has known it his whole life.
God is saying today that if we don’t get something don’t cry and if we don’t like something then don’t detory it. Be happy with the Feedom that God gives us.
I like this because it reminded us that Jesus is human too. It is easier for us to relate and understand Jesus when we know that Jesus was in the same boat as us. But because He’s God we forget that He went through all the stuff we go through as humans also.
We must bring Jesus into everything whether it is something peaceful or if it is something that makes you cry. If we do then we will always be happier and have all the gifts and fruits of the Holy Spirit.
I think that it is sayign weall make mistakes and he made them to.
I thnk this passage is that everyone is %100 Person, and everyone is equal no one is better than no one else.
HE SAW THE CITY AND WEPT OVER IT To me this is a reminder that God made our world so perfectly, and we take it for granted. God still loves us even though we make Him sad when we don’t take care of the amazing gifts God has given us. Every single thing on this earth is a girf from God and when we don’t treat eachother like they always come before ourself,
It reminds me that Jesus was human too which is crazy
Jesus wants us to be the best version of ourselves. In order to do that, we need TRUST IN GOD and TRUST IN OURSELVES. if we fail to do
so, our lives wil be filled with fear because we won’t know who we can trust.
The scritpture today is telling me that Jesus is human just like us and that we can relate to Him.
I will put this in my life by making Jesus/God in the cnenter of my life. I will love him and read the scripure more. A line that stood out to me was, ” The beautiful thing is that God gives us a free will to choose. ‘.
