Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus answered the Jews:
“My Father is at work until now, so I am at work.”
For this reason they tried all the more to kill him,
because he not only broke the sabbath
but he also called God his own father, making himself equal to God.
Jesus answered and said to them,
“Amen, amen, I say to you, the Son cannot do anything on his own,
but only what he sees the Father doing;
for what he does, the Son will do also.
For the Father loves the Son
and shows him everything that he himself does,
and he will show him greater works than these,
so that you may be amazed.
For just as the Father raises the dead and gives life,
so also does the Son give life to whomever he wishes.
Nor does the Father judge anyone,
but he has given all judgment to the Son,
so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father.
Whoever does not honor the Son
does not honor the Father who sent him.
Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever hears my word
and believes in the one who sent me
has eternal life and will not come to condemnation,
but has passed from death to life.
Amen, amen, I say to you, the hour is coming and is now here
when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God,
and those who hear will live.
For just as the Father has life in himself,
so also he gave to the Son the possession of life in himself.
And he gave him power to exercise judgment,
because he is the Son of Man.
Do not be amazed at this,
because the hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs
will hear his voice and will come out,
those who have done good deeds
to the resurrection of life,
but those who have done wicked deeds
to the resurrection of condemnation.
“I cannot do anything on my own;
I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just,
because I do not seek my own will
but the will of the one who sent me.” JN 5:17-30
It is brave indeed for One to say He is One with the Father. Who has walked the earth and said, “I am one with the heavenly Father”? Yep, only Jesus. Many have worshiped the One true God, but no one dare claim to be equal. Once again, Jesus is either a radical liar or equal to the Father. I smell Truth of a Trinity here. Jesus talks about judgment today. I like to change my mind sometimes. Some people change their mind a lot. I like to make decisions and some people have a hard time making decisions. With Jesus, there is something we must make up our mind on and stick to it and something we cannot change our mind on, the fact that we will die, be judged, and go to heaven or hell for all of eternity(that is a long time by the way).
In the Rich Man and Lazarus parable, Jesus warns us that the after life is eternal states that cannot be changed. We must cherish every second we have on earth to make the right decisions and do the right things. We will die. We will be judged. ”For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he gave to the Son the possession of life in himself. And he gave him power to exercise judgment, because he is the Son of Man.” In your heart, have you really made the decision to allow Jesus to completely rule your life? Me either. It is time to make that decision, we do not get second chances after we die and death is immanent. Most importantly, there is nothing more that God wants but to have His cherished creation come back to Him. He loves you more than you love yourself. He wants you to be a saint more than you want it yourself, to be with Him for all eternity. He wants you to know His Will. SO LET HIM LOVE YOU!
Today’s challenge: Reflect on the 4 final things, death, judgment, heaven, hell. It’s your choice, God has already done the legwork by giving us His Son, now it’s time to believe. Give yourself to Jesus totally and completely and allow Him to love you, His greatest desire.
Be a servant, become a saint!

I think this is trying to say that we need to have faith in Jesus, and believe in Him, even when we’re most vulnerable and even when it’s a difficult time. It’s hard to believe when you’re struggling and you think God is against you, but if you just try, he’ll help you and guide you.
Believing God’s word and trusting in Him is an easier way to Heaven He gives us the way to Him. He the King of Kings and can work anything so you shouldn’t be testing Him.
This shows us that right judgement can bring us close to God and close to Heaven.
This shows us that right judgement can bring us close to God and to heaven.
In todays gospel God is telling me that judgement is not a good thing. It is worse when we judge someone behind there back. God had the choice to judge us but He doesnt. He loves all of us. Learn not to judge and become a better person.
We have to follow God’s path for us or we won’t be happy. Sometimes we think God doesn’t want us to have fun or wants us to be happy but that’s the opposite because He wants to protect us. He wants to lead us down the right path and lead us to eternal life in Heaven with Him. So listen and follow God’s path.
I think this scripture is talking about consequences. Choosing to do right will do you good and give you good back and choosing to do bad will come back to you just as bad. But God wants us to choose the right thing and follow his path. Believing and trusting in God could change anyone’s life forever. don’t take anything for granted.
when the scripture said, “My Father is at work until now, so I am at work.” I think think this is telling me that God will always try to help you . He will be there for you always so that you may succeed. God will always work so that we may go to heaven
Jesus is showing us that the trinity is real. He respects the Father, and he says that there’s kinda a “do to me do to the father” relationship. We need to believe Jesus is the real presence.
Jesus says “I cannot do anything on my own; I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.” If Jesus can’t do anything on his own, we defently can’t. We need to start giving everything we have to God. Our happiness, sadness, anger, ect. Jesus says that he doesn’t seek his own will but the one who sent him. He doesn’t search for his own will. He lets God chose what he does. We need to do the same.
Why is it so difficult to trust in God i need to trust.
What I took out of this lesson is that the time we spend on earth, is the most hard time out of our life. The time we spend on Earth is the time that God is judging us. he is watching our actions on Earth and we need to acknowledge that. We need to act like Christ and serve what God wants us to serve. One way of doing this every easily, is letting God rule our life. He should trust our life in out hands. We should let God rule was to the brightest path, and work with him on it. We should trust that God will put us in the right hands.
“Amen, amen, I say to you, the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for what he does, the Son will do also. For the Father loves the Son.” Whatever Jesus does, his Father agrees with. Jesus is 3 persons in 1.
God loves us. We have our own things that get in front of our lives between us and God. We need to pray to God for some of that time that we use that gets in front of our lives with God. Doing this will make us have a stronger relationship with God.
Jesus does the will of the Father who sent him. God is our heavenly Father as well. We should answer his call and do his will. We should set aside our own desires and focus on doing the will of God. Jesus is the perfect example to follow.
The Jews believed that the Messiah would be a powerful man that would save them from the Romans. Jesus saved us from not government, but from our own sin. If we are with Him, the world will not accept us. God is God of not just this world but the next. Why do so many people ask for a sign when He put His own body and blood in front of us? Can a child say “I do not know my father” when their father is in front of them? Are we so blind, that we see Him yet not believe? The world may trample us for our belief, yet it cannot hurt our soul. This world is physical. We are spiritual.
Jesus is telling us that He is there to help us. He wants us to get to Heaven to be with Him. It’s important to remember that Jesus doesn’t want to hurt us, but He wants to help us. We can’t get to Heaven without Him.
“Whoever hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life.” In today’s gospel, Jesus tells us that the hour soon is coming which all in their tombs will hear his voice and will come out. I need to believe in God and have faith in Him because God will come again soon.
Today the scripture is telling me that we should believe Jesus. Everyone should. There is too much evidence for Him and not enough against Him. If you look at the situation logically, there is only one answer. We need to have the ability to accept that answer and follow God.
When Jesus said, “The dead will hear the voice of the Son of God”, he was referring to that he will die, raise from the dead and open the gates of Heaven. He was hinting at him giving himself up to save us and the souls of the dead who lived a righteous life.
I think this scripture is saying, God is greater than everyone. Jesus can do great things. Greater than anything we can do. My favorite line from this scripture passage is,”or just as the Father has life in himself, so also he gave to the Son the possession of life in himself. And he gave him power to exercise judgment, because he is the Son of Man.
I understand the Jews not wanting people to do work on the sabbath and say they’re God’s son, except Jesus is God’s son, and He’s shown it through miracles multiple times. Jesus is equal to God, and he does what he does due to God’s will.
This scripture is telling us that the hour is close for the Second coming. We need to always be prepared for the second coming. The second coming could happen anytime so we need to be , kind, generous and Christ-like! If we are not doing this now, than we are going to regret not doing this when God comes down from heaven!
This scripture is saying like Jesus gives us everything and he came to this earth to save us to save us from our sins so that when we go to heaven we wont be judge by him because Jesus doesn’t want to have to judge us and send us away some where far and somewhere we are going to suffer.
In today’s scripture we hear that God is coming back soon. We all need to turn to Him now. When God comes we need to be ready or we will suffer. God knows that we aren’t perfect but he still wants us to try our hardest to be with Him.
Jesus is telling us that when we believe in him we will know more about him and then will be closer to him and be closer to Heaven. we can do that by praying to Jesus and going around helping others. So Jesus is saying that we can get closer to him by doing good things.
This scripture reminds me of the Holy Trinity. Jesus is one with the Father and the love between the Father and the Son creates the Holy Spirit. Jesus is at work. Jesus is changing our hearts. Jesus is doing God’s work.
What reached out to me is when it said, “but the will of the one who sent me”. What this means to me is that God has a plan for all of us. God loves each and everyone one of us and has an idea in mind for us, so we need to try our best to do what God has in mind for us.
I think this scripture is telling us that Jesus is in control, so is God, but its confusing because they are both God, and so is the holy spirit. But it’s simple, the three people are all God and we have to listen to God because he is in control. We need to humble ourselves and realize that we are not going to save the world or ruin it, God will take control.
It is hard to believe that Jesus is equal to God the Father. Jesus has the same power as the Father. Jesus does all his work through the Father. Jesus=Father Father=Holy Spirit. Jesus does everything through the creator, so if we don’t want to hurt the creator don’t hurt Jesus.
Its saying that you can’t do everything by yourself. You need help learning to do things, that’s why your parents are here to teach you.
This scripture is saying we need to stay close to God.
In today’s scripture “For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he gave to the Son the possession of life in himself.” This stuck out to me. I think it means God gives us life but we decide what we do in our life which determines whether or not we go to heaven. But it is all up to us.
in the scripture Jesus talks about how he does what he is told to do by his father. he was obedient and he loved his father .
He tells us that if we do not believe in the son (Jesus) then by default we don’t believe in the father (God).
This scripture is saying that Jesus is the One True God. Only Jesus can call himself God because He is. He is in control, we aren’t. We can’t even make up our mind. But one thing we have to accept is that we will die and be judged by God.
In this scripture Jesus is saying that we can not do anything on our own but that we must be taught how to do it.
Everyone has Jesus in them. From even the least of people, there is a Child of God. We must aspire to be like Jesus. Of course we will never be Him, but always strive to be as forgiving, as merciful, as loving as Him.
We need to allow God’s love to affect us. If we don’t believe that He loves us, then we aren’t going to feel His love. We need to be brave like Jesus was to openly say that we love Jesus with all of our hearts and that we are Catholic, because we are going to get made fun of, people tell us that we are wrong, ect. As long as we believe with all our hearts, we can be brave enough no matter the consequences.
This scripture is saying that we have to listen to God. God hears everything and that is how he judges us in purgatory because he knows everything we have said, did, and even thought. God’s words are life. If we listen to them and focus on what they are saying we will be great.
I think today’s scripture passage is trying to tell us that we can’t do anything without God. It is also talking about making decisions. Sometimes we have to make hard decisions, but God will help us. We need to decide if we want to live our lives with Jesus and have eternal life in Heaven, or be separated from God after death.
what the scripture is telling me is that Jesus can basically do whatever he wants and hes making a statement on why he can. He is also being bold when telling His people what to do.
What stood out to me was, “I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just, because I do not seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me.” This stood out to me because we hear things that should never be said out loud. We listen to others conversations and that’s wrong. To me I feel like if we judge someone we judge God and we shouldn’t do that. God will be there to help us and we need to be ready for our time. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
This scripture reflection really shows how much people look up to one another. “Amen, amen, I say to you, the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for what he does, the Son will do also.”
We need to look up to Jesus, that way we can be more holy. But, we also must be holy for others to look at us. For others to learn the faith. To spread the truth.
This piece of Scripture is telling me that Jesus is our Model of Holiness. “Amen, amen, I say to you, the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for what he does, the Son will do also. For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything that he himself does,” This shows that we cannot do everything ourselves, that we need help, and God is there to help us with everything we need.
“I CANNOT DO ANYTHING ON MY OWN” we cant do anything without help. we need Jesus to help us through our daily life and lead us to the right path. we often times think we can go alone and we are wrong that is why we have out guardian angel to protect us from the terrible thing in this world.
“I judge as I hear, and my judgment is just” This stood out to me. What He hears is how He will judge. If He hears we are doing bad then He will judge off of that. When He hears we are doing good then He will judge that. We should want Him to only hear that we are doing good, so that we may be judged off of that.
To be united together.
I think that this scripture passage is saying that we can’t do anything by ourselves. We need God to help us with what we are doing. If we ask him to help us if we have a big burden he will help us with that burden. God wants to help us we just have to let him. We think we can do it by ourselves but it ends up making things ten times harder.
Jesus is the Son of God. He tells us about the power God possesses and He does too. He says that if we believe in His Father and Him we will go to heaven. We must live our lives like the saints and Jesus. God will be waiting for us because he loves us.
Jesus says He is equal to the Father, which didn’t exactly make Him popular. In fact, the exact opposite happened. But I think that’s because no one wanted to change. The same is true with us. We like where we are in life, so we don’t want to change. Or, we don’t like where we are, but don’t want to change anyway (It’s too much work thinking). So, in order to combat this, we must ACCEPT Jesus into our lives. We must let Him in, inviting and welcoming Him. We must allow him to change our lives for the better, and in turn, grow spiritually in union with Christ.
To me this scripture was a little confusing. From what I understood it said that God is waiting for us at the gates of heaven. Although if we do not believe in Him then he will start to loose hope in us. to get to heaven we have to believe in Him and listen to His words.
what im getting from this is that who ever is with God all the way will have eternal life and who ever is not will not have eternal life and go to condemnation
Jesus tells us that the hour is coming soon and that we have to be ready for it. He wants us to be ready so the tombs will hear His voice and come out. He wants us to prepare ourselves by going to mass and confession so we are ready for Him.
What this scripture reflection says to me is that I need to be ready for when Jesus comes back to save all of us. If we are all not ready then we will not be able to make it to heaven which is our final goal as Christians.
It is saying we judge people on things that we can’t even do. It doesn’t make sense how we judge people for things we aren’t even able to do. The people we are judging do it better than we do.
Jesus is the son of the man, and the Jews did not like that he was trying to “compare” himself to God because they did not believe in him, but Jesus was the son, he is God. Our faith is more important than anything else in this world.
This scripture focuses on judgement and the will of the Father. I think it also tells of the trinity. Jesus is saying how he cannot do anything but the will of the Father and he is God. Jesus tells us that our eternal life is a one time decision. We can’t go back on what we decide. This is why we try our very best to be the person God intended for us on Earth, which can take courage and faith. Jesus gave us all we need, we just have to use it.
In today’s gospel Jesus is talking about the Father’s will, and not only Jesus’s Father’s will, but our Father’s will. We are called to be in the image of Christ, and Christ does everything through the Father, so we, who follow Christ, must also bend to the will of the Father.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus is telling me that judging is very wrong. We shouldn’t judge people even if we don’t know them. It hurts whenever people judge you whenever they don’t know you because people will only think the weird things about you and not the other things that your personality has to offer. So, treat others how you want to be treated. Hurt someone and you’ll get hurt. Be kind and people will be kind to you.
I think this Gospel is talking about consequences and judgement. Everyone in the world judges. No human being will ever stop judging because of our ego or our pride. If we judge someone on how we look or how they smell there will be consequences.
I think this is telling me that we do not and can not decide what will happen to us. “I DO NOT SEEK MY OWN WILL BUT THE WILL OF THE ONE WHO SENT ME.” Is basically saying that God chooses our what we were made for and we need to follow the will that He gave us.
Jesus never sinned because He never did anything of His own free will. He followed His Father all the way through and was equal to God. Nobody dared to ever claim being equal to God, only worshiped Him. Jesus did. He either lied or was telling the Truth. Only God raises people from the dead, frees the sinners from their sin, and can miraculously heal. Yet Jesus did all those things too. So Jesus must be God’s equal and was following His Father as he set out to do.
I think this scripture is telling me to believe in Jesus. For the scripture says ” whoever does not honor the Father does not honor the Son.” This is like saying to believe in him.
I think the scripture is saying to do what is right over wrong. God wants us to succeed in life and he will do anything to make us better people. God will always be there with us to help us when we are struggling.
In this scripture, Jesus still sees God as his father. This reminds me that we still see our parents as our birth givers and if it weren’t for them we wouldn’t be here. They have to put up with us and our attitudes we even say that we hate them at times, which we wouldn’t know what our parents do behind the scenes for us. We should learn how to appreciate our parents more and maybe help them with chores around the house without being asked to.
Today, Jesus is telling us about God, his own father. How we must believe and honor Jesus if we ever want to reach Heaven. Why do we insist on saying, “Jesus Christ,” or, ” God D****.” Why do we think that we can just dishonor God and his name, and just get into heaven without any consequences. Whoever honors the Son honors The Father, so let us honor The Son so we can then honor The Father
“Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and will not come to condemnation, but has passed from death to life.” -JC. If we want to go to heaven we must hear Jesus word and believe in God. We can hear Jesus word by going to mass and listening to the homily, or we can read the bible. The bible is God’s word and Jesus is the Word made flesh. Reading the bible daily will help us get to heaven.
I think that this scripture is telling me that we need to follow God in order to actually be able to follow him into heaven, and that if we do not do this than we will have to suffer life without God. Imagine what it feels like if God, does not like you.
Today Jesus says “Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes in the one who sent me has eternal life and will not come to condemnation, but has passed from death to life.” He is telling us that following Him will get us to Heaven. But you can’t just say that you are following Him, you have to actually do it. If you tell other people that you follow Jesus but you don’t pray or do anything God told us to, then you aren’t truly following Him. So if you do the things God has commanded of us as best you can and go to confession when you mess up, you will get to Heaven.
I think this is saying how we need to forgive and how we have to follow the Lord always. Also how we should live like saints and follow the Lords rules so we can get to Heaven, He is waiting for us.
Do we need a sign to believe Jesus is always with us? Some of us do, some of us don’t. In reality why would we think that? Jesus was always spoken of through the prophets, but many people ignored this. Jesus would be out healing, praying, and blessing. What were we doing? Would we have stood by and watched? Would we have judged Him for being the SON OF GOD? He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is the one and ONLY God we should thank for our lives today. We wouldn’t need a sign because we should know He always watches over us, waiting for us, and loving us.
“Amen, amen, I say to you, the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing. This is a good example to follow are guardians and are good role models for us. It also means we need to listen instead of argue and disobey.
I think that this Gospel is saying that we need to believe and the more we believe the easier it is to spread the Word of God. When and if we can spread the Word of God, then the closer we get to going to Heaven. It shows me the God is the only one that can save me, so I need to believe in order to be saved.
Today this is saying that Jesus loves us an unbelievable amount, more than anyone ever will. He i our number one and we need to start putting him first all the time before our big sinning distractions.
God is in control you have to let him take control because he knows what is right and wrong and he also knows what you need. When you let Him take control you will be joyful.
In today’s gospel God is telling me that judgement is not a good thing. It is worse when we judge someone behind there back. God had the choice to judge us but He doesn’t. He loves all of us. Learn not to judge and become a better person.
This scripture is talking about how judgement is not good. We need to love people for who they are and not judge them by how they look, act, or stuff they say. Another Part in this scripture is talking about how God can not get us to heaven by himself we need to spread the gospel to people around the world.
Jesus says that when He jusdges us, He is just, because of the One who sent Him. He does not judge by His own accord, but through the power of God. We must trust His judgement.
In today’s Scripture Jesus tells us that His judgement is just. Sometime whenever we get in trouble we can think that it is really unfair for what we are getting punished for. But when we get to Heaven we can no longer complain because Jesus is just. So we should try to accept our punishment whenever we do something wrong.
in this passage Jesus demonstrates that he is one with the father. He says he is the Son of the Father and the Father sent Him. The Jews then again believe this is blasphemy and want to kill him even more. Although God doesn’t lie he can’t lie. So if Jesus didn’t lie to us then He is showing us that he is part of the Trinity. Believe in Him.
Jesus and God are the same person and sometimes we forget that. But they are and we can not forget that. They are the most holy people to ever exist and God created us not because he had to but because he loves us and he wanted to.
To me this Scripture was a reminder that God’s judgement is right, and we need to honor Him. We should be living our life with our top priority being to please Him. When we sin it doesn’t please Him, it makes Him sad. God gave us a conscience, and we know right from wrong. We should be using our consciences to do what we know God wants us to do.
Jesus is telling us that if we do not believe in him we do not believe in God. They are the same person. God can heal, and wake the dead, so can Jesus. If we don’t believe in Jesus and believe in God, how do we say that we are truly Catholic.
I think that this reading is proving to us Jesus’s divinity. Jesus tells everyone that he is the Son of God and in the times of Jesus, your son is equal to the father so Jesus is saying that he is God. By doing this, Jesus is basically making everyone choose to think if he is God or if he is just a really bad man. If Jesus was saying all of this stuff and he wasn’t actually God, then he would be a horrible person. In our world today, more and more people are starting to lose belief that Jesus was telling the truth. We need to still believe in Jesus because of what he did for us and we need to be an example of what Jesus showed us how to do.
What I think this is saying is that God wants us to give our lives up to him. He made us, he is us. He even gave him self up for us and him. He is the only one we should strive to be like and love him.
I think this scripture is telling us that God is waiting at the gates of heaven for us. But we have to do our part by praying to him and going to Mass and confession, God wants us to come to heaven but that means we have to work for it and do what we are suppose to do.
Today’s Scripture passage is saying that we all need to treasure life here on Earth. We need to do what is right and make the right choices in our lives. When we die, we will be judged by our Heavenly Father, but that doesn’t mean we should be judging others. We need to accept Jesus in our lives, so that we have someone to lean on and tell our problems or worries. We don’t get second chances, so we either choose to be with Him and have eternal life with Him at the end of life or not. God wants us to believe in Him and have faith in His Word. He loves you and you will be forever loved. God wants us all to become saints and He wants us to be with Him for all eternity. Don’t forget that He loves and cares for you very much and you should do the same for Him.
are i a strogoljesus i all wass thre for you wen yuoun
“Amen, amen, I say to you, the Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing” Jesus didn’t come down to Earth to save us from our sins because he wanted to, he’s doing it because of God, his Father.
In this scripture reflection God is telling us judging others is not good. How we judge others is how we will judge us on final judgement but if we don’t or judge them in a good way then God will treat us like that too
I think this passage is saying that the Father cannot exist without the Son, the Son cannot exist without the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit cannot exist without the Father. They are all connected, so it is wrong to say that they are all different deities. They are one God, in three divine persons, and we need to treat them as such.
We can’t do anything on our own. We need God to teach us how to everything.
I think the scripture is saying God and Jesus are very much alike and even when we doubt someone or something we need to be able to trust them. No matter how hard life is currently it always gets better.
I think the Scripture is saying we can’t do anything without God. We can’t live without God. We can’t make it to Heaven without God. We need God. God loves us so much. He loves us so much that he sent his only son to die on a cross. We need God more than we realize.
The Scripture is telling us that we should always stay with God and we will be happy. Leave God and you will feel emptiness in life. God is love, joy, and hope.
I think that this scripture is trying to tell us that before it is too late we should open our hearts to God and let him love us. There will come a time when we will stand before God and we will be judged by him. In our life on earth, we have to make the best of it so that we can get to heaven.
Today’s scripture is telling us that we have to listen to God, even if we really don’t think it is the right thing at that moment. God always has a plan for us even if it takes a long time to find out. God hears everything and that is how he judges us on our final day or in purgatory because he knows every single thing we have said, did, and even have thought about. All God’s words bring forth new new life and are life. If we truly listen to them and focus on what they are really saying we will be great and truly happy.
I think this scripture means that when the gates of heaven are open everyone will be judged and have eternal life
This gospel is telling me that you can not do anything on your own. Jesus died for us for a reason and so that means that we will not prosper in life if we do not let him help us. This gospel is also teaching us that whatever you show kids or anyone that they will follow your example if they look up to you. This is what I learned from today´s gospel.
“Son cannot do anything on his own, but only what he sees the Father doing; for what he does, the Son will do also.” What I think God is saying is that whatever we do people are going to follow. Like the younger kids of our school they do what they see the big kids do. I think God is telling us to be a better example for all the people around us.
In this scripture the pharisees desired to set a trail on Jesus for TELLING LIES, which if someone in today’s world if they said a lie they would just shake it off and walk away, and either way Jesus never did tell lies they were just mad that they couldn’t do those things and they accused Him of lieing to them about performing miracles and resurrecting someone from the dead.
I think this gospel is telling us that we need to be with God. When I say that I don ´ t really mean Physically by God I just mean being in his presence. By doing this you starts to realize you need God by your side or else you have nothing.
Jesus is this Scripture today is talking about the second coming. He says “Do not be amazed at this,
because the hour is coming in which all who are in the tombs
will hear his voice and will come out,
those who have done good deeds
to the resurrection of life,
but those who have done wicked deeds
to the resurrection of condemnation.” Tonight when we go home then this might happen. Will you be ready?
