Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
After the crippled man had been cured,
while Peter and John were still speaking to the people,
the priests, the captain of the temple guard,
and the Sadducees confronted them,
disturbed that they were teaching the people
and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.
They laid hands on Peter and John
and put them in custody until the next day,
since it was already evening.
But many of those who heard the word came to believe
and the number of men grew to about five thousand.
On the next day, their leaders, elders, and scribes
were assembled in Jerusalem, with Annas the high priest,
Caiaphas, John, Alexander,
and all who were of the high-priestly class.
They brought them into their presence and questioned them,
“By what power or by what name have you done this?”
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, answered them,
“Leaders of the people and elders:
If we are being examined today
about a good deed done to a cripple,
namely, by what means he was saved,
then all of you and all the people of Israel should know
that it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean
whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead;
in his name this man stands before you healed.
He is the stone rejected by you, the builders,
which has become the cornerstone.
There is no salvation through anyone else,
nor is there any other name under heaven
given to the human race by which we are to be saved.” Acts 4:1-12
Why does the Catholic Church teach that there is no salvation through anyone but Jesus? Peter answers that question in front of the high priests today. The Church also teaches that a person of good will for all who follows his/her faith and has never been taught about Jesus will have an opportunity for heaven, too. For those of us that know Jesus and His story, do we have good will towards all? How do we treat people? The only way a non-Christian knows about our faith is first through our actions towards others and how we worship our God.
Second, Jesus’ name heals. Use it only in prayer, not in cussing. Don’t watch Youtube videos or any other form of media where people are using God’s name in vain.
Jesus revealed himself again to his disciples at the Sea of Tiberias.
He revealed himself in this way.
Together were Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus,
Nathanael from Cana in Galilee,
Zebedee’s sons, and two others of his disciples.
Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.”
They said to him, “We also will come with you.”
So they went out and got into the boat,
but that night they caught nothing.
When it was already dawn, Jesus was standing on the shore;
but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.
Jesus said to them, “Children, have you caught anything to eat?”
They answered him, “No.”
So he said to them, “Cast the net over the right side of the boat
and you will find something.”
So they cast it, and were not able to pull it in
because of the number of fish.
So the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord.”
When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord,
he tucked in his garment, for he was lightly clad,
and jumped into the sea.
The other disciples came in the boat,
for they were not far from shore, only about a hundred yards,
dragging the net with the fish.
When they climbed out on shore,
they saw a charcoal fire with fish on it and bread.
Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you just caught.”
So Simon Peter went over and dragged the net ashore
full of one hundred fifty-three large fish.
Even though there were so many, the net was not torn.
Jesus said to them, “Come, have breakfast.”
And none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?”
because they realized it was the Lord.
Jesus came over and took the bread and gave it to them,
and in like manner the fish.
This was now the third time Jesus was revealed to his disciples
after being raised from the dead. JN 21:1-14
“This was now the third time Jesus was revealed to his disciples after being raised from the dead.” JN 21:14
How many times does Jesus need to return and reveal Himself for us to believe? We say it every Sunday in Church and every time we start a rosary. Have you ever really thought about what you believe in. I need proof. God gave us a the gift of faith. There is no need for proof if we have faith or it is not faith at all. This is difficult, but God has revealed so much to us if we actually slow down, sit in silence with it, and pay attention. Jesus Christ is the Truth, but His resurrection is not too good to be True. When we put our complete trust in God, He will not let us down. God never breaks His covenants, His love is always true, He knows you better than you know yourself and loves you more than you love yourself. Trust in Him, believe in Him, come to the supper table He has prepared for you and receive eternal life. Now, “Come, have breakfast,” with Jesus, go to Mass.
Today’s challenge: Fast. It is Friday, Lent is over, reminding yourself of what Jesus did for you last Friday is a requirement on every Friday throughout the year. Put rocks in your shoes, fast from something, make yourself poor in some area of your life. Eat breakfast with Jesus. Try to make it to daily Mass more often this year. Believe.

Be a servant, become a saint!
Today Jesus reveled Himself for the 3rd time. Jesus told the disciples to cast their net on the right side of the boat. So they did, and they caught 153 large fish. Jesus did this to show them that He was back. No ordinary person could do what Jesus just did. That is why Jesus did it; so the disciples would come to believe that I Am has resurrected/ returned.
i need to trust in god like the fisher men did
No one is as merciful as God is and He is the almighty king and I know that He works wonders for us and no one can do the things He does for us. He brings us all of our feelings He made everything happen to us for a purpose.
I think today’s gospel is saying we can’t worship worldly people. Celebrities for example we have to realize there just a person God created and everything they have is from God. Why would we worship anything else if everything is from God. God deserves all of our love and attention because everything we have is from Him all of our gifts, talents, friends, family, and many more are all from Him. He loves us more than imaginable and we need to worship Him the one true God.
What I took from this gospel is that God is always here for us. God is here when we are going through out hardest time and will always be with us. Every time we are feeling sad we can always go to God because we know that God is here for us and we should go to him whenever we feel sad. God understands us more than we understand ourselves.
The high priests and high authority questioned Peter. Peter who was filled with the Holy Spirit told them that only under Jesus’s name they would be saved. Jesus was the stone rejected by the builders.
In today’s gospel, it say “He is the stone rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone.” Jesus is the stone that was rejected by us. Jesus is the center and the importance of our lives. The people rejected Jesus until He is resurrected. I can pray more in my life and become closer to God.
Has the Lord not given His only Son as a sacrificial lamb for us, for us to see salvation, and to rise from the dead on the third day? Did He not give us the Spirit to guide us? Why do we, then, ignore Him?
This shows us if we believe in being cured we can sure other like Peter.
“But many of those who heard the word came to believe and the number of men grew to about five thousand.” Though they persecuted Jesus, more and more people are beginning to believe in Him. We hope to be able to worship him without fail.
I think this is saying that Jesus is always around Him, but we need to open our hearts for us to see it. Our distractions are keeping us from seeing and having a closer connection to Jesus. The scriptures reveal Jesus to us, but we aren’t connected to it.
The Apostles were so surprised that Jesus rose even though they knew He said He would. They were a little hesistant at first, but they eventually put their full trust in Jesus Christ because they knew that He wanted what was best for them.
In todays gospel God is telling me that we need to do everything in the name of Jesus Christ. Also we do everything for Him.
God can heal anyone. If the person has faith in God, he will show us kindness. God will not give you everything, he will give you what you need to keep your faith. God showed kindness to the cripple because he trusted in God.
Jesus shows that He can do anything. Jesus gave the apostles a bunch of fish after He was resurrected. The apostles caught nothing that evening but when Jesus came to them they caught so much fish.
Recently, Jesus has been revealing himself to the disciples after his resurrection. Jesus give them a miracle, with a net full of fish, just like when he first called them. In the reading, Peter testifies to the truth and is put in Jail for it. We should also testify to the truth, the risen Christ.
Like the fisher men we need to have faith in God and trust he will always lead us to the good. God will never lead us astray but we have to remember that and not try to live on our own because he’s there to help us and he wants to.
Today the scripture is telling me that even after they killed Jesus and He rose, the Pharisees and high priests would still get angry and try to stop their preaching and sharing of the Good News. Their perseverance is a good example of how we should share the Gospel.
