Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute,
and when the demon had gone out,
the mute man spoke and the crowds were amazed.
Some of them said, “By the power of Beelzebul, the prince of demons
he drives out demons.”
Others, to test him, asked him for a sign from heaven.
But he knew their thoughts and said to them,
“Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste
and house will fall against house.
And if Satan is divided against himself,
how will his kingdom stand?
For you say that it is by Beelzebul that I drive out demons.
If I, then, drive out demons by Beelzebul,
by whom do your own people drive them out?
Therefore they will be your judges.
But if it is by the finger of God that I drive out demons,
then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.
When a strong man fully armed guards his palace,
his possessions are safe.
But when one stronger than he attacks and overcomes him,
he takes away the armor on which he relied
and distributes the spoils.
Whoever is not with me is against me,
and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” LK 11:14-23
The crowd assumes many things about Jesus’s powers and even asked for “a sign from heaven”. Jesus responds with a very clear answer, “If it is by the finger of God that I drive out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you”. Jesus is God casting out demons. It is by the same finger of God through the power of the Holy Spirit that priests cast out demons today. What point does Jesus make today? Love always wins. God is love and mercy. He is the most powerful through love, Christ the King of the Universe. This love and mercy bring peace and joy. God’s grace is bigger than any sin or any number of sins. He conquered Satan and sin on the cross.
How? He took on humanities sin and literally sweat blood in the Agony in the Garden. He took on close to 120 lashes by two Roman soldiers with flagrums that had lead balls and sheep bones losing a considerable amount of blood at the Scourging at the Pillar. He had thorns crushed into His skull, carried a heavy cross and fell many times due to the severe nature of the scourging, and had nails driven through His wrists and feet. He hung on the cross for 3 hours then gave up His Spirit.
His love and mercy for us are unmatched by anyone. Jesus always wins because He was unselfish. Most importantly, He did the Father’s will. He stayed obedient even unto death on a cross. We must fight every day to become other centered instead of self-centered. Jesus is the perfect model of total self-sacrifice. In very clear language, Jesus sets Himself apart from everyone including other religious leaders, “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters”.
There is no fence in Christianity to straddle. It is hard to be a follower of Christ. We have to be unselfish, suffer, and forgive. Most of all we need to rely on God and His grace instead of trying to always be right and believe we can do everything ourselves. Stop trying to tough it out. Let Jesus into your boat, swallow your pride and get rid of your ego. The grace won through Jesus Christ’s love and willingness to die gives us new life. Jesus doesn’t leave us other options, we are either with Him or against Him. He forces us to make a choice. Choose wisely, your souls future depends on it. You can’t take any of your material possessions, trophies or money with you to heaven. Now is a great time to change.
Today’s challenge: Make a decision to ask God for His help realizing you need Him to help you change. Change is hard but possible with God’s grace. If you want peace, joy, a fulfilled heart, and eternal life filled with love, Jesus is the Way!
Be a servant, become a saint!

It’s saying that Jesus is the prince of the Kingdom of Heaven His king is God himself. God made it to where He is the ruler and made it so that when an evil spirit comes into someone’s life they can evict that spirit.
the devil is a tempting force and i need to learn to resist
the devil is a tempting force and i need to learn to resist .
In todays gospel God is telling me that when we are joined together, we are the strongest. When we are divided, we are not strong but weak. In order to stay strong we must form an amazing relationship with God and others in life with us. So, that means your friends, family, and your enemies. We all must join together for all of us to get to Heaven.
When the scripture said, “Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute, and when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke and the crowds were amazed.” This shows that God has power over everyone. He can cast out demons and heal the sick. God could control us but instead he gave us free will witch allows us to make are own decisions. He did this because he loves us.
Jesus loves us very much. If we sin or we are in doubt that Jesus doesn’t love us or care for you, you are wrong. Jesus came to Earth and died for us, which shows how much He does.
I think the gospel is saying you can’t be a mediocre catholic. You have to be fully in or there is no point of it. You have to pray on your own and actually pay attention and sing and participate at mass not just go through the actions. We have to do everything not just the stuff we like doing and we have to try to avoid sin at all cost we can’t just pick the sins we like doing and keep doing them we have to stop fully.
“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” If you are with Jesus, life won’t be easy, but your reward will be eternal. The devil tries to tempt us with worldly things, but Jesus grants us Heavenly graces.
Jesus is telling us today that he is the son of God. He basically “roasts” them by saying that if he uses the power of demons to drive out demons then by whose power do they drive demons out with? He’s saying that they should believe in him, because he can do those things with the power of God. So why shouldn’t we believe him? He’s waiting for us.
What this gospel taught me is that God is always with us. Even if we do mess up, God will be there to comfort us and to guide us to the Holy Spirit. When we need him most he is there to lead us to the right path and to make us see that Jesus can down and died for our sins. He is there for us and we need to acknowledge that He will always, and forever, be there for us to comfort, guide, and to see our way into heaven.
Humanity cannot be divided. It just can’t. All of the war, the hatred, and the distrust is tearing our world apart. War came from humanity splitting. If we never started to have negative feelings toward our fellow humans, war wouldn’t even exist. The only reason we are divided is because of sin. There will always be those people who thirst for power and there will always be corrupted governments. We just have to do our best to live in a broken world and stand up for what is right. It is our duty as people, it is our duty as Christians, and it is our duty as Catholics.
I think Jesus is telling us that He wants the best for us. He knows what each and every descision we make will lead to. A descision that we think is good at the time might not be the best for us in the long run. For this reason, we must talk to God. If we truly want to do our very best in life, prayer is required, because God will help us make the right descisions. We can’t get to Heaven alone, but God loves us enough to help us, and more.
Jesus did so many miricles right under the people noses But they believed that he did it by the power of Beelzebul. Jesus denied this fact and said that he was doing by the power of God. We are the people in this situation. Jesus still does so many miricles right under our noses and most of the time, we don’t even realize it.
In today’s gospel, Jesus drives out a demon from a possessed man. The crowd thinks that he is able to drive out demons through the god Beelzebul and some ask for a sign. Jesus tells us that it is through God that He can cast away demons. “But if it is by the finger of God that I drive out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you.” I need to have more faith in Christ and trust in Him.
Today’s Gospel is reminding us not to take advantage of Jesus’ love. He has the greatest power over everything else but we can’t take it for granted. He will do anything for us, so we have to show our love for him by praying and completely trusting in him.
The scripture is saying that if you have evil inside of you God is the only one who can heal you, only if you ask enough. Nothing can overcome Jesus’ power and strength within us.
We should remember that Satan is never for us he is against us. Jesus is for us and will lead us into the light. We cannot rely on ourselves to be happy eternally, we have to rely on God.
What reached out to me was when Jesus said, “But if it is by the finger of God that I drive out demons”. What this means to me is that God is the most powerful being ever. God could just forget about us and it wouldn’t affect him at all. God doesn’t need us, we need him.
Today Jesus is saying that when we are nice to people that we can raise them up and if all of us do that we can beat those demons that tempt us but we can go and take those out by us being nice to people or people raising us up it will help us be closer to Jesus so that we can help others.
Jesus drove out a demon right in front of them, yet some still doubt him. “Others, to test him, asked him for a sign from heaven.” Do they not understand that Jesus was sent from God himself? He is the sign; he proves that God still cares for humanity, and he’d sacrifice his only son to save us.
In this Gospel Jesus saying that we need to believe in him. If we don’t believe in him he will tell us why we should. If we’re in a spot and we don’t know what to do we need to talk to God and ask him for help. We need to believe in him.
Jesus cures demons through the authority of God. We should not ask Jesus for signs like the people did in this Gospel. Jesus is not here for signs but to save us from our sin. Jesus tells us that a kingdom divided cannot stand. We should be united in our Catholic faith.
The scripture is telling us that God is more powerful than the devil. God can act through someone to cast out the devil. We can’t do it on our own we need to ask God for help. If we don’t ask God for help we are lost. I feel like that in order to find peace and balance we have to ask God to help us.
This scripture means that people are always supposed to always be with someone, and be nice to them.
“Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house. This line stood out to me because people who don’t agree will fight and they can’t get any thing done if you’re angry. Jesus is helping these people who don’t like him are fighting with him and he can’t get any thing done.
This Scripture is saying like the some people don’t believe that some people don’t believe that Jesus is Jesus so they just say if you really are Jesus then show us a sigh and Jesus is saying “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house. And if Satan is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? it saying just because i’m doing this stuff and you believe and then you don’t go to mass etc what was like the point of me showing if you did the complete opposite and like now your in hell when i didn’t want you to go.
We should believe in God and Jesus because they can do many great things for us.
In today’s scripture God is telling us that He can save us! He tells us about the demon Jesus cast out of someone. It means He can save us forever we are the mute and the devil in today’s world is very powerful! We need God.
The scripture is telling us that God is more powerful than the devil. God can act through someone to cast out the devil. We can’t do it on our own we need to ask God for help. If we don’t ask God for help we are lost. I feel like that in order to find peace and balance we have to ask God to help us. He loves us and He will not leave us alone.
Jesus tells us that if we do not stand with him we only stand against him. We must stand with him though to get to heaven.
Jesus talks about if there is separation a house falls into a house. We need to stay together we can’t get to the Lord by our self , we need God.
In todays reading “WHOEVER IS NOT WITH ME IS AGAINST ME,AND WHOEVER DOES NOT GATHER WITH ME SCATTERS.” stuck out to me. I think it shows me that pray is powerful and cant change your life in many different directions.
In this scripture I think we need to pay attention to ourselves in this school or as a team or family, “But he knew their thoughts and said to them every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house. And if Satan is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand?” a kingdom divided among itself will fall, if we take sides we won’t understand each other we often see people as part of different groups, and we only talk to to people we think are “cool” or our group of people, but we should accept the people who we think are different or not in our friendship circle, because we all are children of God
I think this gospel is telling us that Gods grace is bigger than any sin
You are either with God or not with Him. Nothing is greater than Him. We should all strive to be with Him.
Love ALWAYS wins. No matter who it is, pure love will never be evil or sinful. We need to love each other, no matter if we agree with each other or not. Everyone deserves the same rights as one another, and everyone deserves respect and love.
We should not question God’s words for they are truth. We should trust God with all of our heart and mind. He gave us life and creation what more could we ask for from the most gracious person.
I think today’s scripture passage is trying to tell us that God can do anything. If we are not doing what is good, we are not doing what God wants us to do, and we are against him. Many people doubt God’s powers, but he conquered Satan and sin on the cross.
You need to be all in with Jesus. There is no being partly with him or kinda sorta love him. There are only extremes with our God. He loves us totally and unconditionally. We should love him back, for all that he has done for us.
“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” what I am getting from this is that you either have to be all in or all out you cant be in the middle. Are you willing to give everything up for Jesus or not.
I think that this scripture is saying that we need to pay attention to God. We need to spend time with Him and get closer to Him. If we don’t do this then we will scatter away from Him. We don’t want to fall away from Christ.
what scripture is telling me is that jesus tries to gather us into heaven and when we scatter its like running in the wrong direction and we fall out of the hand of God.
We need to keep our connection with God strong. It says “But if it is by the finger of God that I drive out demons, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. When a strong man fully arms his palace, his possessions are safe.” I feel like that last part of that quote was talking about how our faith can help shield us from evil. We have been taught that certain things are not okay. So we know not to do them. We need to turn to Jesus everyday.
Jesus tells us to choose between Him and the devil. Do we want Heaven or Hell? We have a choice because of our free will. God is not forcing us to follow him. We can choose to love God or to leave God.
This piece of Scripture is telling me that at the time where we will all be judged, if we choose God we will go to Heaven. If we don’t choose God, then we will not have Eternal Life in Heaven. Jesus gives us the choice to love him back, or to turn away from Him and not accept His love. He gives us the choice. He doesn’t force anything onto us, He just loves us unconditionally.
This scripture is telling us that we either have to love God fully or we don’t love him and won’t have a good relationship with him. You can’t be half and half. You have to be all in or all out. Love won’t work right if you only give half your time to Jesus
What stood out to me was, “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” It stood out to me because if we are with God then we will always follow our vocation. If we are against Him; He will forgive us but then we need to grow closer to God. If you aren’t with him at all then it will take some time for Him to forgive us.
Jesus truly wants to be the center of our lives, but sometimes I think the materialistic things of the world can triumph over that. This applies to me as much as anyone else. I know in my own life I let things before God. But in the end, that’s a slap in the face to Him. He tries so hard to be with us, and we just push Him away. We must actually let Jesus take over, which is easier said than done. We must completely and totally surrender which is extremely difficult. But it’s what we need and long for.
I think this scripture is kinda telling us that a house cannot stand without walls. Think of it this way though, The walls are God, Holiness and love and all that kind of stuff. and we are the roof and everything else. we can’t stand without Christ. God are our walls we have to stay connected otherwise we will fall away. I also think of it as you have to build your house. The closer you get to God the bigger the house gets.
I think this scripture is saying that we should believe in God all the time. God is always there for us but we are not always with him.
What this scripture reflection says to me is that we all need to try to stand our ground when we are weak. Because then that is when Satan will try to strike us the most, and we need to fight back as hard as we can. Because when we stand with Jesus, then we can say that we have fulfilled what we are all created to do.
The scripture is saying, God is with us all the time and we should be with him all the time. All God wants to do is help us reach Heaven
I think it means when we say we believe in God and say we stand with Him most of the time when we get into a situation to prove it we run away and hide. We need to start proving we believe in God by standing with Him and defending our faith.
Today, Jesus is telling us we have to be together, or we will fall. A house divided against itself cannot stand, so why do we insist on arguing with others and being divided even more if that will only cause us pain and failure. It’s because of Satan and all his demons which are named in this gospel. They divide us, even though we must stand together.
Today’s gospel is telling us to not take advantage of God’s love. We all know that God loves us and no matter what we do he will love us, but if you think of it in that way then you start to do bad things and just say in the back of your head, “oh i can do this because God loves me,” if we think in this way then we don’t love God. Jut like if you sin and you think “oh i can just go to confession and God will forgive me,” that means that we aren’t actually sorry for our sins.
In this scripture, Jesus drives the demon out of a man. In a way Jesus cannot protect all of us from the devil’s temptations, and we all know that the devil has put a veil over our heads so we cannot see the wrong doings and get tempted. We need to realize what we do and learn to not give into the temptation though it is hard.
This scripture is telling me to believe. When Jesus did a bunch of miracles people still asked for signs. What signs do they need when they were already showed? People find something to blame it on. Like when they called Jesus Beelzebul, the prince of demons. They blamed it on that so they did not believe.
I really like today’s gospel because Jesus is just like “OK GUYS do you not realize that you are basically saying that if I drive out demons through the power of the devil, you also do, and if you don’t heaven is literally upon you.” and all of the people calling him out kinda just back off, because they know he is right, this is the side of Jesus that I find really interesting, he can get angry and frustrated with other people just like we do
Today Jesus tells us that we have to make a choice to follow Him. You can’t half-follow Jesus. God gave us free will so that we could choose. This is a decision we have to make. And we need to stick with our choice throughout our life.
I think that in this Gospel passage, Jesus is reaching out to me saying that we need to have humility. We need to own up to the things we do wrong, be truly sorry, and try our best to never make those sins again. The devil is tempting, but we need to resist him and trust in God.
Jesus made it very clear to the crowds. Who else drives out demons but God? What other power would Jesus have? If we don’t gather with God, we will scatter, thinking we know what to do. But in the end, we’ll be even more lost until we return. No sin is unforgivable. Nothing is too great for God. So gather with him. Believe in what He is trying to tell you. Embrace it. Remain in Him.
God is is, the Way, the Truth and the Life. In this scripture people doubt that. They even ask Jesus for a sign from Heaven. They need to trust in Him and know that “Whoever is not with me is against me,and whoever does not gather with me scatters.”
The Scripture is saying that God has the greatest power over us and he is going to help us not do bad things. God knows what is right for us and he is going to use all of his power to lead us to do the right things. God wants the best for us but we have to be the ones to fix our actions.
Jesus proves that he is very powerful today in scripture. He casts out a demon. Skeptics say that Jesus is a price of demons and that he is not God. Jesus is God and he is very powerful and he loves you a lot.
Jesus proves that he is very powerful today in scripture. He casts out a demon. Skeptics say that Jesus is a price of demons and that he is not God. Jesus is God and he is very powerful and he loves you alot.
In today’s Gospel Jesus casts a demon out of someone’s body. People these days use God as a slot machine. We need to recognize Jesus is the Highest of all High and has the most power over everyone and everything.
I think this Gospel is saying that if we need to pray and grow closer to God because the devil is every where and we have to learn to resist. Also how God can do anything and we have to trust him always.
I feel like this scripture is telling me that the Lord has power like no other man or thing, he can control your life in what he thinks in. He will forgive you and love you at all times, he will give you what you deserve though.
“Whoever is not with me is against me.” God is saying if we do not believe in him and follow him then we are against him. Listen to God and follow his ways.
In today’s gospel God is telling me that when we are joined together, we are the strongest. When we are divided, we are not strong but weak. In order to stay strong we must form an amazing relationship with God and others in life with us. So, that means your friends, family, and your enemies. We all must join together for all of us to get to Heaven.
“Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against house.” In sports I think this is the rule to live by. Many things in life are just a battle with yourself, and for sports this is everything. Trust is hard. Trusting in anyone is hard these days, because we have had our trust broken before. Many times we here that God is the soul and we are the body of the world. Each person has an individual part to play but we have to trust everyone will do their part. Instead put are trust in God, the soul, and believe everything will go well.
What I think this is saying is that who ever praises him and know him and believes in him will be with him forever. They will be in heaven they will worship, they will giver their lives up for him.
In this gospel, Jesus drives out demons. This tells us that He has the power to do great things for the greater good of humanity. He chooses to help others even when being criticized.
God is the king of heaven he is the king of earth and he is the king of all kings. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the father. Both of these people love us so much because they want us to live in everlasting love peace and kindness in heaven. They love us so much God sent his only son Jesus Christ to die for us and he obeyed and did the will of the father.
To me this Scripture is saying that each of us have a choice to either believe or not believe. If we are going to say that we believe, we have to stick with Jesus, even when it’s just us. We act like such good Catholics but we’re not. Jesus is welcoming and loving. He invites us each to be with Him, but we don’t all see how wrong it is to ignore his invitation. That could end us up in Hell.
We have a choice to follow Jesus. He is proving today that he is very powerful, to where he casts out a demon. If we do choose to follow Jesus then he can use those powers and fill us with his grace and get us to Heaven.
When he says, “whoever does not gather with me scatters.” I think that means if you don’t truly and fully believe in God then you don’t believe in him at all. I think this is also saying that if you go to church because the commandments say so not because you want to get anything out of it then there is no point of going to church. He wants the people that are fully with him to go to church and be with him in heaven. Not the ones that are there because they were told to.
To me this means that God is saying that you do not believe in God then you will not go to heaven with God. We need to try to be the best Catholics and the best children of God. It also feels like God is saying if you do not gather and try to work to excel in things in life then you be scattering the world trying to find scraps of things like food, clothes, or even a place to live. So we need to start being good people for Christ and we need to start now.
We need to believe that Jesus is the Son of God. He shows us that he has the power to get rid of demons. God is always there for us when we need him. The power of God is so strong, and his love for each and every single one of us protects us from the devil.
The people in today’s Scripture think the Jesus is the prince of demons and that is why He can drive demons out of people. This is not the case because Jesus is just that powerful. Jesus also say that whoever is not with Him is against Him, I don’t think that was meant to be a threat though, because we can choose to follow Him by our own free will.
The Gospel is telling us that if we ask for healing we will be healed when we need it.
This Gospel is basically saying that satan will always be trying to tempt us. Just because he is tempting us, doesn’t mean that we have to give in and say yes to being tempted. If we truly believe in God then He will help us the best way He can. But in order for us to fight satan away we need to be holy and stay true to God, and be fully believe.
I think today this scripture is talking about how God is stronger than Satan. We need to take the time out of day to spend time with Jesus to grow a better relationship with him because if all of us grow a better relationship with him it will make him stronger as well.
This reading is basically Jesus proving to everyone that he has power over demons. First He drives a demon out of a man but then people still doubt His divinity so they say that he is driving them out by the power of Beelzebul not by the power of God. This is like you being an American fighter pilot in World War II and shooting down a Nazi plane but then when you land, everyone says that you are a Nazi. Jesus uses the image of a man in his palace that gets overthrown and the man is kicked out. The man who owns the palace is a demon inside of the person and the person that overthrows the man in the palace is Jesus. Jesus is only able to do this because he is more powerful than any demon or devil. After all of these clues to Jesus being God, we need to understand that they are true and we need to follow him without looking back.
The gospel is saying that Jesus is the king of the place. And the king of heaven. And when it say in the scriptures “Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” And what I’m getting from this is all the people that are against the Lord or who do not scatter with him then they are not true believers of Christ. Jesus wants to gather all of us in him home one day and that is Heaven.
Today’s Scripture passage is saying that we need to put our trust in the Lord and show our love for Him like you does for us. He has the greatest power over all of us, ready to drive away the demons and wants us to know that He will always be there for us no matter what. Jesus says we’re either with Him or against Him, so He is showing us that by going with Him, he will give us great things and eternal life with Him.
jesus i as was hef for us thre the hard days
i think this scripture shows the power of God. God has the power to create and destroy. here it show satan has power but it is nowhere close to Gods divine power.
what i think this is saying is that we will always get tempted by the devil and do bad things. but we have to try our best to not let our temptation get the best of us. a way we can prevent our temptation from getting the best of us is asking God for help.
I think this scripture is trying to tell us that we need to let God let us change. When we pray, we grow in our faith. We are always growing in holiness. Now, during Lent, is the time to open our hearts up to God and let him in. Right now is the time where we could be growing our relationship with God. As we get older, we mature in our faith.
What I think this Gospel is saying is help each other. Don’t just go and do your own thing. We are all on the same mission of getting to Heaven and we need to help each other get there. We can’t just do it by ourselves and we need to realize that.
I think the scripture is saying that we must work with one another and not destroy one another. No matter how hard we try if we do not believe in each other and Jesus, then how will we make it to Heaven? Without God and Jesus there is nothing. If we accuse one another of doing injustice then we will be doing injustice as well.
Today’s scripture reflection is very meaningful. I think today’s scripture is reminding us to never take advantage of Jesus’ love. He will always be open to love you, but don’t use him in the wrong way. He has the greatest power over everyone and everything else but we truly can’t take it for granted all the time. He will do anything for us at any time, so we have to show our true love to him by praying and trusting him all the time.
I think that this scripture is telling us to over look all of the good deeds the jesus has done and can do and that is just what the people of His time did because they watched HIm do miracles and they thought that it was just a matter of luck that He drove out demons, and so they put Him to death and assumed that He was telling lies about being the son of God even though He literally rose someone and Himself from the dead which never happens.
The scripture is trying to say that we should have trust in God because he already knows all so he knows what kind of thing you’re going through. He will always be there for us no matter what or no matter how grave the sin is.
I think that the Scripture is telling us that we will always have the Lord and we should always love and trust in Him. God has the power to do anything he wanted to but He created us and now we should trust in His works. He is always in our lives.
I think the Scripture is saying we have to be on Jesus’ side. We have to go to mass and confession. We have to follow the ten commandments. We have to follow Jesus to be on his side. We know that we will be at Jesus’ side for eternity when we make it to Heaven.
I like the focus on Beelzebul. Now, I don’t know much about him, but I’m pretty sure he’s a bad guy. Another thing I liked about the scripture is the quote from Jesus saying, If I, then, drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your own people drive them out?” I don’t know why, but I just really thought it was cool.
Today’s Scripture passage is talking about Jesus driving out the demons from inside this mute man. He is also telling the people that He is God and they don’t need a sign from heaven to see that. Jesus is always here so we don’t need signs from him he just gives them to us
You don’t need power to be happy. In fact it corrupts you depending if you use it for good or bad. We talked about it in Reading in the 3rd quarter. God is the only one with true power, and we don’t need it.
It’s saying God is powerful and that he tries his best to stop letting the devil tempt you to not to do the right things. If we continue to do those things we might stop being close to God and soon His kingdom might fall. That’s why we need to go to mass and confess are sins to get closer to God.
“Others, to test him, asked him for a sign from heaven. But he knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste and house will fall against the house.” This line is from the scripture from above. I think it’s saying that we can’t use Jesus. We need to love him, not test him or use him.
God is always there for us and he loves us. We should be faithful to him.
I think this saying that God’s love is always above everything else. We just need to be like Jesus and accept the love that he’s giving us and love him back; even if that means sacrifices or sufferings. We put our faith in Jesus because we trust him and love him.
Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute, and when the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke and the crowds were amazed. all that we need to be amazed by god is his image and divine grace. we don’t need a miraculace thing to happen to belie in God.
I think this scripture is symbolizing that everyone who is against me will not get rewarded with my eternal love and if you deny me you will be in the depths of hell.
