Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
The Jews picked up rocks to stone Jesus.
Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from my Father.
For which of these are you trying to stone me?”
The Jews answered him,
“We are not stoning you for a good work but for blasphemy.
You, a man, are making yourself God.”
Jesus answered them,
“Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, ‘You are gods”‘?
If it calls them gods to whom the word of God came,
and Scripture cannot be set aside,
can you say that the one
whom the Father has consecrated and sent into the world
blasphemes because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’?
If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me;
but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me,
believe the works, so that you may realize and understand
that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”
Then they tried again to arrest him;
but he escaped from their power.
He went back across the Jordan
to the place where John first baptized, and there he remained.
Many came to him and said,
“John performed no sign,
but everything John said about this man was true.”
And many there began to believe in him. JN 10:31-42
Jesus reveals two things today: 1. Scripture cannot be set aside and 2. “the Father is in me and I am in the Father”. Bold. Radical. He forces us to make a decision. Either we believe He is God who came into the world to save humanity from their sins or don’t and condemn ourselves eternally.
Why would Jesus say these things to the Jews? He knows stoning and death are the consequence for what He is claiming. He doesn’t back down and He continues to repeat himself in John’s Gospel adamantly that He is the Son of God and He is one with God. We have not even included the Bread of Life Discourse when Jesus tells us we must eat His Flesh and drink His Blood. Many of His own followers leave Him at this point. He doesn’t change His testimony even when many close followers walked away. Would you continue to stand up for the Truth even if people you are close to walked away? Jesus is on a mission to do the Will of the Father and save humanity. He is about to follow through.
Jesus speaks Truth, it is revealed in the Scriptures which “cannot be set aside”, comes from the Father, and gives us hope. Jesus can’t preach anything different. There is no other Divine Revelation, there is no other Creator. The Father of love, mercy, and Truth who allows us to call Him “Daddy” is the one True God. It is very difficult to believe, we need God’s grace, but most importantly we need to make a decision in our heart to believe and be open to this grace.
Today’s challenge: “And many there began to believe in him.” JN 10:42 Is your heart closer to Jesus since you started your Lenten journey or are you left with just a desire to be able to eat chocolate again? Take time each day to talk to Jesus, but most importantly sit in silence and listen.

Be a servant, become a saint!
“YOU, A MAN, ARE MAKING YOURSELF GOD” In the eyes of the pharisees and very devoted Jews, Jesus was a crazy man. He Said he was God. If someone walked down the street and said they were God, would you believe them? I probably wouldn’t. What’s more, he even said to eat his body and drink his blood. I sure as heck wouldn’t follow someone who said that. But Jesus was God and none of what he said, hard as it is to believe, was blasphemous. The pharisees were wrong to put him to death, because Jesus came to save them too. He loves everyone, even those who want to kill him.
I think this is saying that we need to always have faith when other people or things are trying to put us against it. In the Gospel, it talks about how Jesus never stood down and kept stating that he was the Son of God, even though the Jews were about to stone him. We need to stand up to our faith when others are putting us down for it, or when things are trying to root us against God.
i should trust in God because he is the true
This scripture is saying that if you chose to do the right things you will have good things happen to you. If you ask and talk to God he will give you a sign back.
This shows us that it’s hard to believe Jesus because even the people in his own time didn’t believe him.
This gospel tells us what the Jews thought of Jesus. A blasphemer who would be so arrogant as to pronounce Himself as a god. Jesus was not what they wanted so they put Him into the category of the evil and wicked. This is why Jesus instead gave His message to the Gentiles. They were more open to Him. Their people did not rely on a messiah coming in glory and saving them from their oppressors. They didn’t already have a preset image of what the Messiah would look like and what His actions would be.
Jesus says “The Father is in me and I am in the Father.” Jesus says this to say that He is God. He tells and even shows the people who is and they still won’t believe Him.
In the scripture it talks about how Jesus has given so much proof that he is the son of God but the pharisees do not care. Jesus did so much good works but all people could think about is themselves. Even though people care about themselves Jesus still died on the cross for us. The minimum we can give God is to believe in him.
God became fully man to suffer and die on the cross so we could enter the kingdom of heaven and live with the Holy Trinity forever. Jesus was fully man but He was also fully God. He didn’t come into this world on chariots of gold and stuff like that He was born in a barn. Jesus humbled himself and we should do the same.
Jesus teaches us today that the God the Father and Son are one person. So if you believe in the Father then should believe in His Son who is also the Father. The miracles that Jesus performed were through the Father in Heaven because they are one person.
In todays gospel Jesus is trying to make the Jews understand that He is the Father. We all know that He is but in this time it was blasphemy to claim to know the Father or to be the Father. Take this gospel as a lesson to always believe God. Also to know that He is the Father.
What I took away from this gospel is that what Jesus is the Son of God. I might sound like known information, but some people can’t process that. Jesus is the Son of God and we need to treat him like he is a prince, because God is king. We need to treat him with respect and we can’t talk down on him that some people do today. We need to show him that we care and show that we love him.
God took on being a man with His son Jesus. Jesus would preach and do everything possible to make non believers into believers, He would all His will and convince everyone to believe. He would take His power of being a man and God. He took up being a man and people didn’t believe Him because He was a man.
Jesus came to Earth to save sinners. Even though some people abused, mocked, and made fun of Him throughout His life, He still loved them and died for them. Today, Fr. Meng said that Jesus would die for us, even if we were the only one on Earth. That’s how much He loves us individually.
Jesus was going to be stoned but he escaped this one. He is God but the people did not believe him. I don’t blame them but Jesus said that these people have little faith.
These last couple of days, Jesus has been bold saying, straight to the Jews’ face, “I am the Son of God,” but this is not just a message to the Jews in the Gospel. It’s a message to us: He is the living God, come down from heaven. They don’t believe him, even when he uses Scripture to make an example of their hypocrisy to try and justify himself in their eyes. They don’t believe him, but we should. Why shouldn’t we? He has told us multiple times, “I am the Son of the living God.”
Today the scripture is saying that we must trust Jesus and that we need to Believe in him and do not go against him and we can show Jesus are love for him by helping others or giving something to the poor. We can go anywhere and pray and talk to Jesus and show him our love and that we can always trust Jesus.
I think this scripture is saying, like yesterday, we need to believe. He’s telling us that He is the Son of God, but the Jews still didn’t believe Him. They say He’s commiting blasphemy. They said He’s saying that He is God. But He’s saying that God is His Father.
The Jews don’t believe He is God. They try to stone Him. They chose not to believe that Jesus came. That’s why they are still looking for Him.
In today’s Gospel Jesus yet again claims to be God. He tells them that God sent Him and He is here to save us from our sin. The jews were mad that He was claiming to be God, but the truth is that He is.
We cannot claim to be God, that is what we said to Him. We were trying to stone Him because he was claiming to be God, even though He was telling us the truth we still didn’t believe Him. Because we want proof. But if we realized faith means we have to believe even without proof.
This scripture means that every man Catholic in this whole world is supposed to believe in God the Father Almighty.
Jesus is claiming to be God. The Jews want to stone Him for blasphemy. We must believe that Jesus is the Son of God and spread the word about Him, and we will one day be in Heaven with Him.
In the Gospel the Jews are trying to stone him for blasphemy. Jesus tells them that He is the father. We need to understand that Jesus wasn’t a man that said He was God. He is God and we need to believe in Him.
What reached out to me was, “If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me”. What this means to me is that there will always be people trying to stop Christianity no matter what they see or hear. So even through rough times and under criticism we need to stay strong and pray.
In this Gospel the Jews try to kill and arrest Jesus. Jesus tells them that He has done nothing but good. Jesus is right. He has been healing people and forgiving sins. The Jews think that Jesus is blaspheming because He claimed to be the son of God. Jesus is the Son of God so it’s not blasphemy.
Jesus is always (except sometimes) calm. Even while they are about to stone him he keeps his composer. But they still want to stone him for blasphemy.
Jesus did his Fathers will, and so do we. I think this scripture is telling us to do what God tells us, Jesus was happy even when he died on the cross, because he knew he was going through agony for us. We are called to serve each other and God, and do his will.
In today’s reading I thought that all the Jews were extremely wrong for trying to stone Jesus until I realized that I would probably have done the same thing. Knowing that it is wrong to just call your self God I think I would have been just as rude. I think the Jews were also scared because a random guys just comes along doing miracles and then says hes God.
This Scripture is saying that the Jews don´t believe that Jesus is actually God and Jesus says “I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of these are you trying to stone me?” and Jesus says that in your laws does it say that you God which i think Jesus is trying to teach us that we should not believe that we are powerful than others.
Like the past scriptures, the Jews do not believe in Jesus. But the thing is, Jesus says that they don’t even have to believe that He’s God, they just have to believe in what he’s done. That part stands out to me, because it shows that Jesus isn’t here for the glory, but simply to heal.
Jesus today is telling us that if we don’t believe in Him at least believe in His actions. If we can just believe in his action we can see where it is coming from so we can start to believe. If this man is doing the works of God, maybe He is the God
“Then they tried again to arrest him; but he escaped from their power.” This shows how strong God’s will is. He said Jesus would die on a certain day and he did. Jesus could have been stoned but God said no so he was not. He was going to be arrested but God said no so Jesus was not taken.
Today’s gospel tells that the Scripture is very important and what is written is the truth. Today, Jesus also gives another chance to the people to believe that He is the son of God but they still do not listen.
This scripture is telling us to not set aside scripture for it is the way to Heaven. If we don’t read the bible and truly understand God’s life, how are we going to build a personal loving relationship with?
I think today’s scripture passage is trying to tell us that there is only one God and we need to believe in Him because He did so much for us and died on the cross, so we shouldn’t disobey him.
Always trust God. He is also always right. Nothing is greater than Him. Even though He didn’t do what the Jews said for Him to do, He did it in a way that no one would be mad.
“YOU, A MAN, ARE MAKING YOURSELF GOD.” we try to make our own paths but God has already made our paths and he knows the way. follow Gods path
‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” The Jews didn’t believe Jesus when He said that He is God. They thought He was being blasphemous, so the tried to stone Him but He reasoned and gave good points as to say that they shouldn’t stone Him.
There are people who are finally realizing that Jesus is God! This is wonderful. People are finally seeing the truth, the most amazing person come to live. Jesus Christ. The amount of belief Jesus gives people is wonderful.
“He went back across the Jordan to the place where John first baptized…” Jesus went back to where He was baptized. This reminded me that when we go to church and bless ourselves with holy water. We need to remember our baptism and remember that God washes away our sins.
What stood out to me was, “YOU, A MAN, ARE MAKING YOURSELF GOD.” It stood out to me because you can’t you aren’t God. God is his own person. We can’t just become God like hello we are supposed to live our lives the way God has planned for us and we will die when it’s our time. God will always be with us but that doesn’t mean we are one step closer to being God. We are one step closer to holiness and faith and heaven.
Jesus is the truth. The Jews should’ve known that no one else claimed to be God, so Jesus must be God, and He is. The confidence it takes to say that you are God is unthinkable, but Jesus did it. Shouldn’t have that thought came across their mind?
what the scripture is saying to me is that we are not beleived who we say we are because people want visual evidence. Jesus was not beleived to be God because he said he was even though He preformed miracles people didnt beleive Him because they didnt see it. people can beleive we arent christians because we dont show them that we are enough. even if we spread the word people dont see and recognize us.
One thing that is really important or interesting about this scripture is that Jesus said, “I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of these are you trying to stone me?” Jesus made miscalls and the people still didn’t believe him. Jesus said “what more do you want”. Jesus knew what they where going to do to Him but He let it happen for US.
I believe that Jesus is saying that he is the son of God the messiah.
Jesus is about to be stoned for what he is saying. And yet, he seems to continue saying the same things, just maybe more forcefully to get his point across. He doesn’t back down. How much courage did that take? I know that if I were about to be stoned, I’d say something like “Sorry, I didn’t mean it that way,” or anything I could to prevent them from throwing that stone. But Jesus does the opposite, he persists. So let him in. Let his words rule your life. Let Jesus win.
Jesus went through a lot so that we could be saved. Jesus sacrificed himself for our sins and went through a lot of pain. we should get closer to God.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus is telling me that people do not always believe in people whether they are telling the truth or not. Just how the Jews did not believe that Jesus was telling the truth that He is in fact the Son of God.
Jesus again is saying that he is God when the Jews try to find ways to find Him guilty. Every time they have tried to accuse Him of something, He always proves them wrong. If someone were to stone me for saying something falsely, I would be scared and maybe back down, but Jesus didn’t. This proves that what He is saying is the truth, the way and the life. When we stand up for Jesus, we may not know the answer to some of their questions, but Jesus will give us all we need to say. Jesus also speaks of the Trinity. “The Father is in me, and I am in the Father.” Jesus tells us the unity of them.
God tries to tell the Jews that He is their Father. They don’t believe him because they think think that everyone has a different father even though we all have the same father which is God.
Today Jesus is calling us to be brave. Jesus was facing people who had already picked up rocks and were ready to stone Him, but He calmly talked to them and explained how He hasn’t done anything wrong. If Jesus could have that bravery in that situation, we should be able to be brave in our everyday lives.
This scripture is talking about how Jesus performed many signs but people still did not believe. If some person started doing good miracles that is not possible. People still think he is human. No ordinary human can do that. Why do we still not believe.
I think this scripture is saying how the Jews keep on not believing. If we can just believe in his action we can see where it is coming from so we can start to believe. The Lord has granted us so much, so praying to him daily and following his commandments is the least we can do.
Today, Jesus is standing before men who want to kill him, and still preaching what got him in trouble. They want to stone him because he is saying that he is God, but he still calls them out and tells them that they wouldn’t believe him no matter what. They choose not to see who he truly is, so he spends no time trying to convert them, he understands that no matter what, their hearts are stone and they choose not to believe in him or the father.
God is both divine and man, just like we are both body and soul, and it’s interesting because we are body-soul, not two separate pieces and God is divine-man or Incarnation, we are made in God’s image and likeness, and God’s image is both together, divine and human, or body and soul, he shows us what our identity is by becoming a man.
“You, a man, making yourself God?” They would not accept that Jesus is the Son of the Most High despite all of the good deeds, miracles, and the prophesies. We do the same as they do sometimes. We don’t accept Jesus into our hearts, rather go out and do bad deeds, sinful things and be blasphemous.
X cannot be y and not NOT be y in the same respect. In context – Jesus cannot be God and not NOT be God at the same time. What I’m saying is this: Jesus is either God or convinced thousands of people that a lie was true. But as He says today, If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize and understand which is saying I have claimed to be God BUT I have proven that I am one with the Father through my works which are also the Father’s works so believe my actions, so that you may believe my words. Jesus is God. He has proven that to us today and in every passage of the Bible. Believe.
In today’s Gospel it is another time where the people do not believe Jesus. This lent, I felt that my relationship with God has grown stronger through the rosary each day, we have to all be better listeners to God when he is calling us and in the Gospel and believe in him, because good things will happen with God.
In this scripture, Jews are trying to stone Jesus, not for his good works but for blasphemy. Jesus tells them that he is the Son of God, so they can realize that God the Father is in Jesus, and Jesus is in God the Father. Jesus came to earth from heaven to save us all from our sins, ad we need to believe that and know how much God loves us.
The scripture is saying that if we follow God and do what he wants us to do we will be the best people we can. God want’s us to live a happy and holy life but first we have to listen to what he is telling us. God will always be by our sides to protect us and help us when we need it.
I think that God is telling me that we need all the help we can get to make it into heaven. It’s going to be hard to believe in your faith and it always is that way but with even more peer pressure when you get into college and high school. It’s going to be hard to take yourself to masses on Sundays.
In this Gospel we need to choose the right things to do and good things will happen in return. It is very hard to believe in Jesus because He is not truly there. Even the people back then didn’t believe in him.
What this scripture reflectoin says to me is that we all need to be ready for when he comes because then we will only have to sides to pick.
I think that this passage is telling me that Jesus went through so much pain and suffering so save us, and He still has to prove Himself to us? He shouldn’t have to. He is God whether we acknowledge it or not. “If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” I think this is saying that Jesus doesn’t need to prove Himself to us, but He does anyway so we believe in Him, because He wants us to live an eternal life with Him in Heaven, because He loves us and He just wants us to love Him, too.
We can learn very much from this scripture. Jesus stands before the crowd and isn’t afraid that the people are thinking of stoning Him. He is the Son of God, He says this to the crowd. He is not afraid because it is the will of the Father that is with Him. That there is no other god except, well, God.
In today’s Scripture it is another time where the people do not believe Jesus. This lent, I felt that my relationship with God has grown stronger through the rosary each day, we have to all be better listeners to God when he is calling us and in the Gospel and believe in him, because good things will happen with God.
This scripture is talking about how we need to believe in Jesus because When he was alive people thought that he was blasphemy and wasn’t speaking truth.
The Jews were ready to stone Jesus, but Jesus asked them why. Jesus didn’t do anything wrong, yet He was very loving to everyone.
Jesus was going to be stoned but it escaped it. He is God but they didn’t believe him.
I think that the Gospel is saying that if Jesus can believe in us then we can believe in Him. If we do good to others then He will do good for and to us.
This is saying to do good things and good things will come in return. Even if nobody is watching because Jesus is still watching and will shower you with goodness.
The Jews picked up rocks to stone Jesus. Jesus answered them, “I have shown you many good works from my Father. For which of these are you trying to stone me?” This is great to reflect on. It’s showing us that no matter what you do and no matter how big of an achievement you have there will still be people that hate on you and be mean to you.
What the gospel is telling me that we need to get ready for the last week of Lent. And gather ourselves to start to make them present. And ready for Easter.
We need to help people get to Heaven help people to get to our Lord.
What I think this is saying is that God made himself by killing himself. He sacrificed for us and told everyone that he was Jesus/God. Everyone thought it was blasphemy so he was killed in the most crucial way possible. He was acended into heaven and became man. He created everyone including himself.
In today’s Gospel there are Jews that are trying to stone Jesus. The don’t end up stoning Him though, and there are even a few people who came out of the situation actually believe in what Jesus was preaching about. This can prove that when we get into though situations, we can come out stronger that when we began.
I think that this reading is trying to tell us why we should believe that Jesus really is God. In the passage, Jesus is nearly stoned by the Jews for Blasphemy even though he has never done anything wrong. Then Jesus says one of the greatest quotes in the Bible, “can you say that the one whom the Father has consecrated and sent into the world blasphemes because I said, ‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.” Basically He is proving that he has bark and bite. He talks about how He is the Son of God and then he actually goes out and proves it. For us to try to ignore this and live like society wants us to is a horrible atrocity and we need to keep our eyes open to the Word of God and make sure we never fall away from that.
Jesus is God, and there will be people who will try and tell us that He is not God and that He does not exist. But we can not give into the temptation and say yeah you are probably right we have to tell them that he is God. And tell them in Christ alone I have found my hope. He is my light, and my strength, and my song. He is my cornerstone, my solid ground he is firm through the toughest droughts and storms. He would go to any heights for me and any depth just for me. When my fears are stilled my striving cease. He is my comforter my all in all he is my light my strength my song.
Today more people start to believe in Jesus. Jesus asked them to believe in the works if they don’t believe in him. He doesn’t force our faith. He gives us the free will to let us believe what we want to believe in. We are aloud to make our own choices in life.
To the Jews, it seems like Jesus was making Himself God. Jesus did not make Himself God, it was God who allowed His only Son to become man for our sake, and to save us from our sins. God allows Jesus to call Himself God, because He is God. Jesus knew He would be mocked, made fun of, spat at, but He still tried to help us see the Truth. Jesus loves us so much, and we need to accept and allow His love.
This scripture is telling us that they did not believe he was the one and only God and they said it was blasphemy.
To me this mean that God is saying that we need to meet him in heaven with all our family and friends and even God.
This gospel is telling us that we need help to get into heaven. You can’t just do all these bad things and expect to go to heaven right away. There is many things you need to do like repent go to confession and believe that Jesus is the one true God.
I think this means that even when we do not believe, and we say that nothing can go against the Scritpure, we still need to undrstand and know that Jesus is the Son of God, and He is our Savior.
Once again, Jesus is now just trying to convince the Jews that He is God, He’s the one to save them. Which makes me realize, sometimes we act like the Jews, we sometimes don’t believe Jesus Christ is our God.
Jesus is in God and God is in Jesus. The Jews still think Jesus is lying and they say they are going to stone Him for blastpheming about being God, and He says, “‘I am the Son of God’? If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father.”
I think the Scripture is saying to stand up for our faith. Jesus stood up for the faith yet the Jews mocked him and called it blasphemy . We have to stand up for the faith and go back to the church.
what i think this is saying is that we always try to create our own path instead of following God’s path that he has created for us. those that do not believe in God will create their own paths for themselves. but those that do believe in God need to follow in the path that he has created for us because that path will help us get to heaven.
The scripture today should mean a lot to all of us. I think the scripture today is telling us that we follow Jesus and always do what he wants us to do, we will be the best people we can. Even if it is hard because we don’t think it is the best for us, in the end it is the best for us. God wants us to live a happy and holy life but first we have to completely listen to what he has to tell us, even if it is hard sometimes. Even if it is hard, God will always be by our sides to help us and protect us when we need it the most.
I think the Gospel is telling us to believe. I think that if Jesus didn’t believe God would protect Him He would have got stoned. But God was there looking over Jesus shoulder and protecting him from any danger. I think he is telling us to believe in God in all we do.
the people in this scripture were blaiming Jesus for blasphemy and acting like He was the son of God and they didn’t beleive Him. This is our beleif in god in our lives today, It’s like we don’t know what God is and know nothing about Him and act like we do.They put someone to death because they were telling LIES even though Jesus wasn’t telling lies.
I think the scripture is saying Jesus is the Son of God, the Jews did not believe this and accused Him of blasphemy. We must believe what Jesus says for He is indeed the Son of God and He is here to help us reach Heaven. Without Jesus or God there is no way for us to get to Heaven on our own.
We need to tell the truth even if it will get us killed saying what is right even when you know that it is wrong and God will not be angry if we tell the truth and be killed for it.
Throughout my Lenten Journey, I have been praying more often. I really feel like this Lent I have gotten closer and have built a stronger relationship with God. Things that have helped me get closer to Him were Stations of the Cross, rosaries, Mass, religion class, etc.
In the Scripture the Jews are trying to stone Jesus. The only reason why was because He was telling them something they didn’t believe. Why wouldn’t they believe it? They didn’t want to believe it because they thought that the Messiah would be a great king.
i think this scripture means that even though the jews hurt him and said he was lying he did not hurt them back, to do the fathers will.
In this Scripture people do not believe that God is well… God! We may see this in our every day life when we doubt if God exists or sadly even loves us. Faith is about believing without seeing and it is hard for us and the people who didn’t believe back then to realize this. This is what I learned from today’s scripture.
“The Father is in me and I am in the Father.” -JC This is a really cool reality that Jesus reveals to us today. How can somebody or something be in something and also have that thing in itself. This is possible for God because Jesus is the Father because they are part of one Trinity. You can meditate on this fact in silence.
Today’s Scripture Passage saying that Jesus is telling the true and the whole truth, HE IS THE SON OF GOD. He wants us to believe and deep down have faith that He is what He says He is. He won’t give up on us, He’ll do anything for us and will help us down the path to Him when we truly do believe. He loves us with all heart and always will. We should do the same in return and trust that He has our back and will help us get through anything we face in life.
There is only one God. We should love Him and spread the Gospel so everyone can go to Heaven to be with there Father.
Wow. Just wow. The Jews were trying to stone Jesus then suddenly some of them (I think) believed in him. If there are idiots now who elected Biden, then imagine idiots back in Jesus ´ times. Although the real moral of the story is ¨ Believe in God or die¨.
This scripture is telling us to block out saten.
it says that Jesus has done nothing wrong to anyone but helps them through bad times, but the Jews still don’t believe that He is the Son of God. They tried their best to hurt Him and even tried to get rid of Him. He let it happen because He was trying to save us and we don’t deserve what He does for us.
They said that Jesus was speaking blasphemy. Little did we know he was right and he was the messiah and Christ.
This tells me we need to put all our trust into Jesus he has given us everything we have today and yet we still don’t trust him he gives us everything.
In the gospel, Jesus shows us a very important lesson. The people are trying to stone Jesus for blasphemy, and claiming to be God. Jesus shows us to stand for what you think is right. “If I do not perform my Father’s works, do not believe me; but if I perform them, even if you do not believe me, believe the works, so that you may realize and understand.” Jesus knows He is the Son of God, and has performed many miracles to prove this. Jesus, help me to have faith and believe in you even when things are difficult.

Jesus, help me to have faith and believe in you even when things are difficult.
