Prayer Prompt before reading MT 12:38-42 Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray well, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father is and God the Son so that I may know who I am.
“SO WILL THE SON OF MAN BE IN THE HEART OF THE EARTH THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS.” MT 12:38-42
Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus shares His identity today with us. He is greater than the prophets Solomon and Jonah, He is the Son of Man, the Messiah, the long awaited Savior but the Jews don’t believe Him. He predicts the Paschal Mystery, His Passion, Death, and Resurrection, “so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights”. You can’t just make this stuff up. Jesus did spend 3 days and nights in the heart of the earth. He is the Son of Man. He is the Savior of the world.
Today’s challenge: Believe Jesus is who He says He is, then be grateful and in awe of all that He has done for you and I. We have every spiritual blessing from the heavens through this Man!
Be a servant, become a saint!
