Prayer Prompt before reading LK 7:36-50: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father is and God the Son so that I may know who I am.
“BUT THE ONE TO WHOM LITTLE IS FORGIVEN, LOVES LITTLE.” LK 7:36-50
Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus teaches us today without love and mercy, one will not enter heaven. Mercy is the result of love and “God is love”. God did not need to create us, He is God. He needs nothing. He is complete in Himself and we can not add anything to Him.
His nature is love He and wanted to share it. If a person has ever had a spiritual experience or falls in love with Jesus Christ, they can’t keep it to themselves. Everyone can see that this person has been transformed by love. We are the creation that is a result of this overflowing love. We are made in God’s image and likeness.
I suck at forgiving. I am stubborn and hard-headed. I think I am always right! Thank God he gave me a big heart and is good at slapping humility on me often. I am also open to Truth. The woman bathed Jesus’ feet with tears. When is the last time you cried in the confessional? Me either.
Every sin breaks trust with God and will have to be repaid (temporal punishment). We must truly be sorry and continue to work on our limitations and sinful habits. St. Teresa of Avila said, “Don’t allow your sins to become bad habits!” This is the journey to sainthood!
When is the last time God didn’t forgive you when you asked Him to? Why do we judge, talk about others, be mean, and live selfishly? We are all in the same boat and have faults. We are at a fundamental level all sinners. Begin healing your relationships with forgiveness because the reason we are on this earth has everything to do with relationships.
We are made for relationships and we are in the kindergarten of heaven learning how to love. Embrace someone today like Jesus does for you in the confessional each time you have the courage to come back and face your sins.
At that moment, we begin to understand true love and boy does it feel good, even overwhelming at times. Thank you God, send us your grace so we may reflect you better. Amen!
Today’s challenge: Forgive, feel the burden released, and experience love and joy. Tears will flow!
Be a servant, be a saint today!
#Christian YODO (You Only Die Once; we will live again!)
St. Teresa of Avila said, “Don’t allow your sins to become bad habits!” this stood out to me because if we let our sins become bad habits than we will be blinded by them and never truly see God
In today’s gospel tells us no matter the sin if we are truly sorry for what we have done then He will most definitely forgive your sins.
we can always s go to God when every we need help but we have to go to him not God coming to us. We have to want to have a rellsionship with him. we need to strith to not sin again.
Today in the Gospel, a woman comes and bathe and anoints Jesus’s feet. Jesus taught a meaningful lesson to Simon. We do not judge, or love less, if we are sinners or if we did something bad. We forgive. We do not hold grudges, because no one is promised tomorrow. If you end the day bad with someone, forgive. Someone might not get tomorrow. Jesus forgave her sins. We all need to be more forgiving, for it will pay off in the end.
Deep, meaningful insight Piper! I love the part about not knowing if tomorrow will come!
this gospel is telling me that my faith will end up saving me in the end. The woman anointed Jesus’ feet, her love for Jesus washed away her sins and saved her. Simon didn’t treat Jesus with love and kindness like the woman. The woman is representing the Christians and Catholics that love Jesus unconditionally and have faith in him. Simon represents those who are Catholics or Christians but chose to be lukewarm and not have love and forgiveness in their heart.
This is saying that if we don’t ask for forgiveness for things we have done wrong then we won’t know what love is, therefore making it so it is impossible for us to love.
He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
The others at table said to themselves,
“Who is this who even forgives sins?”
But he said to the woman,
“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
This part stuck out to me because people may not believe in God, but he will always forgive us from our sins and he will never stop loving us no matter what. We can go to God for anything, we can ask for forgiveness and we shall be forgiven.
But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.”
He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
The others at table said to themselves,
“Who is this who even forgives sins?”
But he said to the woman,
“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
You have to forgive, its not easy to forgive someone but once you forgive them its easier to go on with life. You don’t have to forget what they did to you but at least try to forgive them for what they did. Once you go to God and tell him he will help you forgive.
“BUT THE ONE TO WHOM LITTLE IS FORGIVEN, LOVES LITTLE.” LK 7:36-50. This stood out to me because Jesus says that The one whom little is forgiven, loves little. To me this means that someone who forgives very little that same person loves very little. And we should try to give as much forgiveness as we can when we are forgiving someone and that we should always love the person that we forgive even if we don’t get along with that person.
Today’s Gospel reads that even if you are very sinful and you come to the Lord he will forgive you and if you owe more to God than someone else does, he will love you a greater amount because that would mean you have less of something and you needn’t worry because God’s got your back and so does all the angels and saints because they believe there is more to you than what you have done.
To carry someone elses burden is so hard. But that is exactly what Jesus did for us. Yesterday I lost someone so close to my heart. It really just shows you how quickly life can change and make a turn for the worst. To the end he knew Jesus was going to take care of him. Jesus takes away our sins but when he takes them away it means nothing if you keep falling back into the same thing he keeps forgiving you for.
¨When is the last time God didn’t forgive you when you asked Him to?¨ We need to start forgiving people more often. It’s a way to heal relationships and grow closer to God. We were made for relationships so we can help other people including yourself, get to heaven.
Let’s start forgiving and healing! It is really hard, but ask the Holy Spirit for the words to say and ask God for His grace! Anything is possible with God’s grace, love, and forgiveness.
Jesus teaches us today without love and mercy, one will not enter heaven. It is and will always be a place of forgiveness.
In today’s scripture it is talking about how we need faith, mercy and love to get to heaven because without all of those good things we can’t get to heaven without having God next to us. It also says that we said be kind to everyone and don’t be rude to people because that is not what God teaches us to do. Have a Good Rest of your day!! God loves you!!! God bless!!
What I am hearing from this passage is that forgivness it difficult and I think evrybody can agree with that. But the phrase ¨When is the last time God didn’t forgive you when you asked Him to?¨ Show us that we shuld strive to be like God in our love our words and forgive people for doing wrong.
Elliot,
Your insight and the way you present it in your reflection is truly remarkable! Great job!
In today’s Gospel, Jesus entered into the house of Pharisee and was greeted by a woman who anointed His feet with tears. We are the woman begging for our sins to be forgiven. We welcome Jesus to our house everyday and anoint His feet with our tears begging to be forgiven, but once Jesus forgives our sins we forget that He has forgiven them and go back to sinning.
Jesus teaches us today without love and mercy, one will not enter heaven. Mercy is the result of love and “God is love”.very sin breaks trust with God and will have to be repaid (temporal punishment). We must truly be sorry and continue to work on our limitations and sinful habits.
This is my reflection. Where is your reflection on what you think Jesus is trying to tell you?
Redo!
Jesus teaches us today without love and mercy, one will not enter heaven. Mercy is the result of love and “God is love”. God did not need to create us, He is God. He needs nothing. He is complete in Himself and we can not add anything to Him. St. Teresa of Avila said, “Don’t allow your sins to become bad habits!” This is the journey to sainthood! We are made for relationships and we are in the kindergarten of heaven learning how to love. Embrace someone today like Jesus does for you in the confessional each time you have the courage to come back and face your sins. This is what we are supposed to focus on todays scripture. If you look next to you,you will not see someone but you will feel someone and that someone is god!
“Tell me, teacher,” this sentence says that we need to listen to Jesus and we need to ask tell me and I will hear.
Jesus forgave the women. And didn’t be mean or say for her to leave so we should forgive and not hold grudges. So let us be more like the Lord and forgive instead of being mean and dodging the person.
In today’s gospel , Jesus is greeted by a woman who anointed His feet. Jesus sees this and forgives the woman of all the sins the woman has in her heart. We are the woman who washed His feet with our tears. Jesus will always love us and forgive us for what we done.
The gosple says “When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know who and what sort of woman this is who is touching him, that she is a sinner.” Which shows that we judge people based on what they look like and what we know about them were as God judges people based on who they really are inside.
Todays gospel tells us that even if we sin God will forgive us. You should never think that since you have sinned God will not love you he will always love you but you need to accept that and his froginveness. If you dont accept the forgivness and just beleive that God dosnt love you, which isnt true, nothing will get better and you might even start to grow even further from God. You need to know that no matter what you have done God will forgive you but you need to know that and you need to accept that he will forgive you. God Bless!
In today’s gospel we learn about how we are all equal. We should not hold grudges or be angry with anyone. We should go and repent when we hurt someone. Repentance is the only thing that will save us. You never know if Jesus could be coming back in the next month, week, or even day. Once you realize that’s the only thing that can save you it might be too late.
I think it is saying that your sins can become habits so don’t let them be habits and even after going to confession does not mean you can commit the same sin over and over again.
The Gospel talks about forgiveness which is hard and can sometimes take a while. If Jesus who could forgive the woman and God who always forgives us then who among us can we not forgive. But we also have to reminder that we still have to ask for forgiveness and still be sorry and not to expect just to be forgiven because what we did wasn’t “that bad”. We also have to consider that it will take others longer to forgive than it may take us to forgive.
God is better than we could ever be.
What Jesus is trying to tell us is to not think lowly of someone for they might have done better things than you. We should all put our best foot forward and not judge, discriminate, or treat people unfairly. ” But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.
In today’s gospel, Jesus entered the house of pharisees and a women game us to him and started to bathe his feet with her tears this shows that she is a sinner like everybody else and Jesus thought us from that we need to forgive. Like in the example in the gospel “Two people were in debt to a certain creditor;one owed five hundred days’ wages and the other owed fifty.Since they were unable to repay the debt, he forgave it for both.Which of them will love him more?” So to summarize this don’t hold grudges!
In Today’s gospel, Jesus is telling us that even if we have done incredibly bad things we will still be forgiven. He is also telling us that we should forgive each other and to not hold grudges because even if they have a bad past they can still change what kind of person they want to be in the future. No one should judge anyone until judgement day comes then we will be judged by God himself.
we can go to God but we have to he will not come to us.
He is always with us, He does not need to come to us! You are correct, but we have to bring ourselves to Him with an open heart and mind!
But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.” He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” This stood out to me because Jesus rewards the people who really loves him.
In today’s Gospel it tells us whenever we sin Jesus will always forgive us.
God told me even tho we sin he will still always forgive us and that hid grace is what we need.
In today’s gospel a sinful woman bathed jesus’s feet with her tears she wiped his feet with her hair and kissed them and anointed them with the ointment and anointed them with the ointment.
“I suck at forgiving. I am stubborn and hard-headed. I think I am always right! Thank God he gave me a big heart and is good at slapping humility on me often.” This stood out to me the most.
God is telling me that he forgives everyone and every sin. The woman washing his feet is a sinner and yet Jesus still loves her.
“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” This stick out to me because he tells the woman that her faith has saved her and to go in peace.
Jesus is telling us that no matter what He loves us and will always forgive us. He will never abandon us and He’ll watch over us.
He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
The others at table said to themselves,
“Who is this who even forgives sins?”
But he said to the woman,
“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” i chose this because if you follow in your faith with him you will get your sins forgotten
What I got from this passage was to love everyone even your enemies especially when they enter your house.
I think He was trying to say He forgives even the lowest of people.
Mavrick,
That is great inside for a young man! Great job!
The passage is telling is to try our best to not sin but God will always welcome us back even when we feel like God hates us for sinning.
Every sin has a lesson to be learnt. most of the time we commit that same sin more than once. That is okay, we are humans, we are guaranteed to sin eventually. however sometimes it happens too much and too often to the point where it becomes a bad habit. As St. Teresa of Avila once said ¨ Don ´ t allow your sins to become bad habits!¨ If it does, you must find a way to break that bad habit.
Your reflection is well thought out and well written! Great job!
Jesus is saying that even if we sin more we can still love more
We are told to forgive others even if what we did was really bad and as humans that happens alot but God still forgives.
I liked the part were the sinful woman was forgiven.
How can you apply sin and forgiveness to your life?
Whenever were having trouble doing things and not really our normal self, we can always go to Jesus because He can help us no matter what is it. Because He loves us so much.
In this Scripture God is trying to tell me that we need to be reverent to him and him the tabernacle. He wants us to have respect to where he lies and when we receive him. We must recognize that the living Christ is now within us and fully powerful and we must take advantage and ask for the blessing we can receive from him.
I think today’s Gospel is about how we are all the same in the eyes of God. No human is greater than one another because God loves us all equally. He even loves us so much He forgives us when we are in the wrong. Jesus reminds us that we have all fallen short of the glory of God but that doesn’t mean we should just give up. God will always love us, we just have to recognize Him and His love.
It is telling me that forgiveness is very important and those who have done bad things can always change .
What I think the lord is trying to tell me is that we should all know how to forgive even though we are sinners and just like Jesus did that women cleaning his feet.
“BUT THE ONE TO WHOM LITTLE IS FORGIVEN, LOVES LITTLE.” LK 7:36-50. In todays Gospel Jesus talks about forgiveness to Simon. He says the ones with more to give love the most the ones with little to give love little. I think he is trying to tell us veryone sins but those who sin more and seek frogivness love the most
¨Everyone can see that this person has been transformed by love¨ God is love through and through and we are all called to love God the best we can. we arent just called to love god but we are called to love each other.
Jesus is trying to tell us that he will forgive us no matter how much we have sinned. If we have hurt someone and are truly sorry for them then he will forgive us no matter the cost. He died on the cross for us because he loves us so. even if there was only one person on this planet, he would still do it. We should never underestimate how powerful God’s love is.
Jesus says that the woman who washed his feet sins were forgiven. She had faith that Jesus was the true God in the flesh. We need to have that same faith that she has that no matter how bad the sin is, God still loves us,No more or no less than he ever did because he loves you no matter what you do with the same love.
“learning how to love.” This shows that Jesus had to learn how to love too. Even if the people don’t do the right thing, he loves everyone .
today’s gospel was talking about how we have to forgive everyone no matter how big their sin is we have to faith in God as the gospel says “Your faith has saved you”
“So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; hence, she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.” This verse stood out to me when I read today’s Gospel. I feel like it is necessary to call out the fact that everyone has something that they despise. For some, it might even be going to church on Sundays. But sometimes, it is the right thing when you choose to do something that can cause you discomfort but could be helpful to another. In today’s Gospel, a sinful woman comes up to Jesus and kisses his feet and bathes them. This small act may have seemed like an unusual one, but in the end, it ended up pardoning her from her sins and saving her life. Because she had faith, she was able to do this.
Evelyn,
I am grateful for your deep insight! You have given us some wise words today.
“We are made for relationships and we are in the kindergarten of heaven learning how to love.” This means that we are on Earth to learn how to love and learn how to get closer to God.
In todayś gospel we learn from Jesus that if we come to him our sins would be forgiven but that doesnt mean we shouldnt try not to sin
“Tell me, teacher,” Simon said this and like Simon we have to be open to listen to anyone. Our teachers, friends, or just God. If we never listen we will never learn we have to open our ears to what God has to tell us even if you don’t hear him you just have to be patient. He will speak to you when he needs to you have to be willing to listen.
I really enjoyed this reflection, Kaley! You show great wisdom in it.
We should always be seeking forgiveness from God and to go to confession. Going to confession can help us get to heaven. Be like the women seek for forgivenesss
I think that Jesus was trying to tell me that even if someone with the largest of sins asks for forgiveness they will be forgiven but someone with a little splinter of a sin will not be forgiven if they do not ask.
The message I got from today’s gospel was that we should love God with all our heart no matter what situation we are in. In the gospel, Jesus talked about the two people in debt. One person had a larger debt than the other so the person with the larger debt was probably more grateful when he was forgiven than the person with the smaller debt. Jesus said that the one who has been forgiven for more sins will love greater than the one who has been forgiven with a little amount of sin. I believe that he wanted us to realize that no matter how much sin we have, he will still love us, so we should love him with all our heart.
In todays gospel we are told that no matter what we do God will forgive us because he is all loving and he would do anything for us. I think this also means that if other people do bad things we should forgive them as well because that’s what God would do.
This Gospel is making me think and understand that God is forever forgiving. no matter what Jesus forgives the sinners and by doing this he helps us get closer to God the Father and even closer to the promised land Heaven.
“So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; hence, she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little” This stood out to me because it shows that no matter what you do, if you have repentance for your sins Jesus will always forgive you. The people who have a lot to give, also have a lot to earn and having pure intentions is enough for forgiveness.
What I feel God is trying to tell me today is that holding a grudge is very bad. It can cause the relationship you have with that person to become even worse then it already is. When you hold a grudge your holding hatred in your heart against someone. Now think if everytime you made a mistake towards someone they held a grudge against you. How would the world even spin with all that sin and hatred going around. If you tell someone you forgive them but you really dont you should talk to them about it instead of keeping the hatred bolted up inside of you now once we tell them about it that grudge can turn in to a healthy relationship full of love.
In today’s Gospel Jesus talks about forgiveness and love. He hints that if we went something really expensive and if someone gets it for us, we would be really happy and we would thank him and only point out how amazing it is. But, if he got us something cheap we would only point out the bad stuff in it. It just comes to show if we really love Him or not.
I think today in the Gospel God is telling me that He doesn’t care if we aren’t perfect, and that being forgiven helps us love Him even more.
In today Gospel Jesus is teaching us that forgiveness is hard
and there will always be a temptation and we have to fight
it off. today Jesus also teaches us that we forgive no matter
how big or small it may be .
In today’s Gospel God tells us to forgive others. He also says “Your faith has saved you; go in peace”. Even if we do the wrong things if we still keep our trust and love to God, He will forgive us. We should always be faithful so that we may go to Heaven with Him.
in today’s gospel it talks about Jesus teaches us today without love and mercy, one will not enter heaven. Mercy is the result of love and “God is love”, and if we break that love or we sin we are losing connection with God and we are not giving the love that God had for us when he sent his only son down from heaven, to teach us about love and loving others as we do ourselves. We must give that love for Jesus and God because Jesus sacrificed his life for our sins because we were going against his love that he always showed for us.
In today’s Gospel, we are told that no matter how bad your sin is, it is always forgivable in the name of God. Sometimes we must repent when we sin. When we are forgiven for wrongdoing, we must make amends with the person we did wrong to. Sometimes, it is hard to forgive someone alone. Jesus tells us to forgive others, no matter what they have done. If they are truly sorry, why hold a grudge for so long when it can end with a simple “I’m sorry.” We should ask Jesus to give us the strength, courage, and love to forgive others when it may be difficult.
Somthing that stuck to me when i read this is that if we dont have love or mercy we cant get into the gates of heaven the reason i think this stuck with me is cause, The Lord also said his love is mercy and without his love than we have no mercy. mercy is Gods love and we dont even have to give him anything to enter which i think it crazy. if weer being honest your getting eternal life for having a friendship relationship with someone. its like having your dad as a friend. he will try to correct you, love you, and also he is gonna try to help you. And also another good thing is that you will have a best buddy as well. i Think this is a win win casue you father gets to be with you and you get to be with your father and also be with your father and in eternal peace which is nice and very beautiful.
I think this gospel reminds me that Jesus will forgive our sins. He loves us so much, that he’s willing to put our sins aside just for us.
Today our challenge is to forgive as Jesus does with the sinful woman in the Gospel today. If there is no forgiveness then there is no love. So when you go to confession and confess Jesus forgives you and that makes his love stronger. Jesus shows us that it’s ok to love in todays gospel and if someone has done something bad to you pray for them. Forgive them and your bond will become stronger.
To carry someone elses burden is so hard. But that is exactly what Jesus did for us. Yesterday I lost someone so close to my heart. It really just shows you how quickly life can change and make a turn for the worst. To the end he knew Jesus was going to take care of him. Jesus takes away our sins but when he takes them away it means nothing if you keep falling back into the same thing he keeps forgiving you for
It basically says that it is hard forgive people like in paragraph 4. second the gospel just teaches us to be a good person
St. Teresa of Avila said, “Don’t allow your sins to become bad habits!” This stood out to me because if my I make my sins a habit of happening I won’t be able to see the greatness of God.
the verse that stuck out to me was “Two people were in debt to a certain creditor;
one owed five hundred days’ wages and the other owed fifty.
Since they were unable to repay the debt, he forgave it for both.
.This stuck out to me because when he forgave them, one owed so much that he could’ve done anything with the repay for the debt, but he was unselfish and forgave both of the debts, even the five hundred days wages.
I think that God is trying to tell me that even if I have such a great debt, that he is always ready and willing to forgive me for it.
“Your faith has saved you, go in peace.” shows us that even when we sin our faith can also save us.
“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” I think God is trying to tell me that if you pursue something with a fire, and want to be with God and want to pray to him and love him, he will always be there with you.
I think that in today’s gospel we are being told even if you have sinned a lot of you repent and are truly sorry God will forgive you. God is also telling us to not hold grudges and to forgive others and do unto others as he has done unto us. Forgiveness may be hard but it is still something that must be done.
I think that what God is trying to tell me is that no one is Perfect and you are going to make mistakes, and no matter what will forgive you for your sins. “So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; hence, she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.”
When Jesus says “your sins are forgiven. Go in peace, your Faith has saved you.”, he is trying to tell us that if we are certain enough of things that we cannot see(faith), we will be saved.
What I took from this Gospel was when Jesus said “But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.” I feel like this means that God is even more merciful to people who forgive and love others, so we should all love and forgive each other to the best of our abilities not just for ourselves, but also for others.
In todays Gospel ” Your faith has saved you; go in peace ” stuck out to me and I think God is trying to tell me that if I believe in him and believe in my faith and all of his works I will go to heaven and be in the presence of peace with God. Also that we are all sinners and we need to not get super deep down on our falls but to go to mass and confession so our sins are forgiven.
In todays gospel I think Jesus is trying to tell me that forgiving is the right thing Todo. Jesus forgives everyone . Than also we should also forgive people if they say sorry for what they did to you Jesus also taught us to love others like he loves us and everyone. Jesus loves everyone and he also wants us to love evryone to like family friends.
what I got today in the gospel was that god created love for us and love is good and kind and he wanted to share that with us. when we don’t forgive another person for something they do we stop ourselves from being able to enter heaven. God gives us love so we can feel the same thing he feels, for us and that’s exactly why he is just a perfect role model he loves us and he forgives us no matter how big or small he will always love us and forgive us, and all he is asking is that we do the same for him in return. If we do we will feel love the way it was meant to be purely love with no pain or regrets.
Great insight, Sophia! I like the part about how God feels when He loves us, that makes it personal and helpful to understand.
In today’s gospel God is trying to tell us that we need to try to love and be forgiving. If God is always able to forgive us then why is it so hard for us to try and forgive others.
God will never stop loving you be mercifull to others and you will be given mercy without love and mercy you cant be welcomed into the kingdom of God
I think the gospel was telling me to forgive people.
Today the gospel talks about how a sinful woman came and washed Jesus’ feet, and her sins were forgiven. Its saying that even if you sin, if you turn to Jesus you will be saved. 🙂
“BUT THE ONE TO WHOM LITTLE IS FORGIVEN, LOVES LITTLE.” What this means to me is that we need to love everyone no matter is they do something to you. And if they do you need to forgive them and move on. Because Jesus is teaching us to forgive everyone.
we need to start forgiving people more often, it a way to get closer to people and closer to God. everything happens for a reason, and that’s why we need to forgive but never forget. people make mistakes… so do you.
“Why do we judge, talk about others, be mean, and live selfishly? We are all in the same boat and have faults?”
we judge people for no reason, we are just insecure. we have to be nicer to people, help them out, and understand what’s going on inside of there head instead of assuming and just judging and making fun of them. we are the same as them and we don’t realize that
In today’s gospel we hear about Simon the pharisee and the sinful woman. Jesus compares the two of them to two debtors. Jesus then shows how the one who is forgiven much, loves much. He also says that the woman’s faith has saved her. I feel that this relates to real life very well. Jesus doesn’t care how much we’ve sinned in the past. What he cares about is whether we have faith in him and the father, and whether we love him and our neighbor. Jesus is always just waiting for us to repent so he can lead us where we should go in life.
God is telling me to forgive everyone. Just because someone is a sinner does not mean they do not deserve to be forgiven, everyone deserves forgiveness. Jesus says “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”
God is telling me to forgive everyone. Just because someone is a sinner does not mean they do not deserve to be forgiven, everyone deserves forgiveness. Jesus says
“but she has not ceased kissing my feet since the time I entered.
You did not anoint my head with oil,
but she anointed my feet with ointment.
So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven;
hence, she has shown great love.”
Whenever we sin, we make bad habits. But whenever we pray, ask God, or talk to him, we develop good habits. This is because when we talk to people around us, they have a influence on us, or their habits become related to ours. This is why we should talk to God more, as he is a great role model of what we should be. A humble, and kind person. No matter what, he will always cherish and love us.
When we sin it forms bad habits that might be hard to break. But when we go and talk to God you can break those bad habits.
In this gospel it says that i sould forgive even when its hard.
God did not need to create us, He is God. He needs nothing. He is complete in Himself and we can not add anything to Him. Begin healing your relationships with forgiveness because the reason we are on this earth has everything to do with relationships.St. Teresa of Avila said, “Don’t allow your sins to become bad habits!” This is the journey to sainthood! Thank you God, send us your grace so we may reflect you better. Amen!
