Prayer Prompt before reading MT 18:1-5, 10, 12-14: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father is and God the Son so that I may know who I am.

“WHO IS THE GREATEST IN THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN?” MT 18:1-5, 10, 12-14

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Today, Jesus reminds us that the most innocent among us is the greatest in heaven. It brings my thoughts and prayers to the most innocent lives in our country, the pre-born babies who are legally being killed.

It makes me think about whether I am trying hard enough to bring those who have fallen away from the Church in my family back to the Church. I pray that I am being a good father and husband to my own children and those I am entrusted to while I teach.

It is an honorable responsibility with great purpose for the Kingdom. Wherever there are children in your life remember, “And whoever receives one child such as this in my name receives me,” and “See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father.” We have a great responsibility to raise children knowing the Truth. What is the measuring stick to know if we are doing enough? Does the child that God has entrusted to you DESIRE HOLINESS?

Today’s challenge: Take time to look at your life and who might be hanging in the shadows that you could be helping. Start in your home, then school or business, then in the community. Look for children who may not be getting the attention they need.  Make yourself humble, trusting and innocent like a child so that you may be the greatest in the Kingdom!  Say your Guardian Angel prayer everyday!

Be a servant, be a saint today!
