Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

People were bringing children to Jesus that he might touch them,
but the disciples rebuked them.
When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them,
“Let the children come to me; do not prevent them,
for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
Amen, I say to you,
whoever does not accept the Kingdom of God like a child
will not enter it.”
Then he embraced the children and blessed them,
placing his hands on them. MK 10:13-16

Today, Jesus compares the Kingdom of God to a child. The commentary on these verses in the Bible explain that we must become obedient and totally dependent on the Gospel (God). Why does Jesus compare entering the Kingdom of God with children? Observe a child sometime. They are totally themselves. They don’t worry about what others are thinking about them. They say what they mean. They get lost in whatever they are doing and just play. The are simple and true to themselves. They are completely dependent on their caretaker. In our spiritual lives, we too, must become like a child to enter the Kingdom of God. We must not worry about what others think of us, we must be exactly who God made us to be and rely totally on God and His Will for our lives. How do we find out who we are supposed to be? Pray. There is no greater way to come to know our Lord than through prayer.

Today’s challenge: Make prayer a habit so you know who God made you to be, then become like a child and enter the Kingdom of God.

Be a servant, become a saint!
