Humbly submit your will to God (thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

They exchanged the truth of God for a lie
and revered and worshiped the creature rather than the creator,
who is blessed forever. Amen.  Rom 1:25

The word of God is living and effective,
able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart. Heb 4:12

After Jesus had spoken,
a Pharisee invited him to dine at his home.
He entered and reclined at table to eat.
The Pharisee was amazed to see
that he did not observe the prescribed washing before the meal.
The Lord said to him, “Oh you Pharisees!
Although you cleanse the outside of the cup and the dish,
inside you are filled with plunder and evil.
You fools!
Did not the maker of the outside also make the inside?
But as to what is within, give alms,
and behold, everything will be clean for you.”  Lk 11:37:41

Paul reminds us to remember our roots, where we came from.  He reminds us who we have a duty to recognize, worship, praise, and love back.  God the Father made us out of a surplus of love that He wanted to share because it is such a wonderful gift to share.  We must recognize this and share it with others.  Take time to find God in your heart in silence and in things outside that are not man made.
Jesus reminds us not to be fake.  We are who we are and God made us that way.  We often try to be somebody else, look like somebody else, act like somebody else, have the popularity of somebody else,  or get caught in the fads of the times.  ”Although you cleanse the outside of the cup and the dish, inside you are filled with plunder and evil.”  Be yourself, an original is always worth more than a copy.  You will be fighting what God has made you to be, becoming a saint is becoming the best version of what God has created you to be.  Second, Jesus is telling us that just because a law is a law doesn’t make it right.  If something is legal it doesn’t make it right.  An example of this is abortion.  Please pray for the unborn and all mothers who have had an abortion.

Today’s challenge: Be yourself.  Pray for government officials to make laws that follow the Golden Rule.

Become a saint!
