“THE BREAD THAT I WILL GIVE IS MY FLESH FOR THE LIFE OF THE WORLD.” JN 6:51
Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus said to the crowds:
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him,
and I will raise him on the last day.
It is written in the prophets:
They shall all be taught by God.
Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me.
Not that anyone has seen the Father
except the one who is from God;
he has seen the Father.
Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever believes has eternal life.
I am the bread of life.
Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died;
this is the bread that comes down from heaven
so that one may eat it and not die.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven;
whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my Flesh for the life of the world.” JN 6:44-51
“I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” Jn 6:44-51
God is found in communion. God is joy and we are a result of Him overflowing with joy. We are a result of love. Love wills the good of the other and does something about it. God is love and ALWAYS wills our good. Adam and Eve broke this joy by not trusting, so God set out to reconcile Himself with His creation. He does this through a sacrificial meal. The Old Testament sacrificial meal comes to us at Passover. God instructed Moses and the people to eat bitter herbs (to remind them of their bitter slavery) and unleavened bread (they were in a hurry to get away so they did not have time to let the bread rise), and a roasted lamb (daubed the blood on the doorposts so the angel of death would pass over their homes). God later feeds them with manna in the desert.
The new sacrificial meal or new Passover is Jesus Christ. Isaiah prophesies that “He will be like a sheep led to slaughter.” Today, Jesus teaches us He is the bread of life and we must eat His Flesh to have eternal life. Jesus has made a host for us everyday. Go to Mass as often as possible and be in full communion with God. This is the way God has chosen to give Himself to us from the Last Supper until He returns. Most importantly, as Bishop Robert Barron puts it, “Jesus just wants to be our friend. He wants to set around the supper table and have a great conversation.” The supper table is the altar, God calls all of us together to it each Sunday, and Jesus feeds our souls for the journey. Thank you, Jesus!
Today’s challenge: Allow Jesus to be your friend! Talk to Him every day about everything. There is nothing more that He wants than to be your best friend. How do you develop a friendship? Spend time with them. Find a place to make a habit of spending time talking to Jesus and learning about Him in the Scriptures. Read one of the 4 Gospels all of the way through. It will only take a few minutes each day of your time and it might be the biggest conversion experience you will ever have.

whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” Jesus again speaks of his crucifixion and how he will save the earth by dying for us. We can understand why it would be hard to believe that we need to eat his body and drink his blood but they couldn’t understand that he meant the Eucharist and wine because it wasn’t said yet.
The people in the desert ate the manna, but died, but we have eaten the body of Jesus so that we may have eternal life and not die. Whoever believes in Jesus and follows Him will have eternal life, and all we have to do is just believe.
The Eucharist is the basis, the foundation of our faith. It sets us apart from any other religion which makes it really challenging to continue practicing our faith. People don’t want to be different, they want to fit in and be ‘in’. We have to be the flame of faith that others can use to light their own fire. Jesus gave us all of him, body, blood, soul, and divinity, so that we might be able to see that he is truly God. He gave up his life for us. By following in that example and giving our lives up in service of others, we can spread the faith through our actions.
I think Jesus today in this Gospel is telling us that it is his true flesh in the Eucharist. He also tells us that whoever believes this will have eternal life in Heaven. He is truly revealing to us the way to get to Heaven and have eternal life but most Catholics still aren’t going to mass to receive the Eucharist and have eternal life with him in Heaven.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” JN 6:44-51. This line i don’t know why I love ti so much but I think it is amazing. Jesus is telling us he is the Flesh of the world. Open your eyes people!!!
Jesus says, “I am the living bread.” Jesus is fully alive in the Eucharist. He tells us that if we eat this bread we will have eternal life. The Eucharist is Jesus’s body, blood, soul, and divinity. Jesus gave us Himself so that one day we will be reunited with Him in Heaven. He loves us so much and He shows us His love and grace through the Eucharist.
What reached out to me was when Jesus said, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” What this means to me is that we need the Eucharist in our lives. Jesus gave us the Eucharist before he died for us because He knew how important It was.
We should believe in Jesus because of what He says. When He tells people “and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” They don’t believe Him because it sounds crazy. When you think of everything He has done for us it doesn’t sound as crazy. We need to trust Him and His word for, He would never hurt us.
IN todays reading Jesus tells us that he is the bread of life. Which is a weird way to put that he is our food and he will give us the strength to keep going every day no matter what. HE sees the potential inside of everyone of us and guides us to make good decisions.
In this scripture Jesus talks to crowds of people and tells them that not one man there is holy enough to get into Heaven they have to change, they need to stop sinning and make people a better person with god.
In this Gospel, Jesus teaches us about the Eucharist. He says whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood will have eternal life. We should believe that this is true. Although this teaching might sound a little crazy, it is true. It happens every time we go to mass. It gives us life in heaven with God. This bread that is from Jesus gives us life.
A phrase that stuck out to me is “whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” This phrase means to me that Jesus is true and that however believes in him will have eternal life. This phrase means to me that this Jesus’s divine side and that he will save all of us even when we hurt him.
that jesus love us varry much and din not want us to sufer sso he die for us to save or sins
In today’s scripture Jesus is telling us that he is the bread of life if we eat The Body of Christ we will live forever. He’s telling us this because he suffered and died on the cross for us and he loves us. Who would have been the only person to do that for the entire world, Even though people in the world still don’t believe Jesus is still gonna be right here for us no matter what happens he won’t leave our side we will be filled with the Holy Spirit. We need to pass down tradition in our lives to show our kids and those kids of kids what we need for our faith and how to live it to our fullest potential.
Jesus is telling us that He is the bread and wine. He was sent down from Heaven and He left us part of Himself.
God made us with love. We learned more about this recently but this scripture really shows it. His love is so strong that he sent his only son to die for us. Don’t doubt him because he will always come through. He has a path for all of us paved by his love and grace. God is love and we are love. The only way we can give and receive love is by having trust in one another.
Jesus is telling us that He is the bread and wine. He was sent down from Heaven, and He left us part of Himself.
¨Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.¨ This sentence stuck out to me a lot today. The main message I took from this is that Jesus came down and conquered death. He is alive through us. We shouldn´t be afraid because Jesus is always and forever with us and in us. He will always protect us even through the bad. He conquered death so that we wouldn´t fear it, so don´t be. This is hard, but Jesus just conquered the grave. Do you beileve? Are you afraid?
Jesus doesn’t want us to feel afraid of Him. He wants us to see Him as another peer. Jesus wants us to be His friend. Jesus is the best friend anyone could ever have. He’s always forgiving and He never judges us for who we are. All He wants to do is talk to us, listen to us, and lead us to heaven. Although, just like our friends on Earth, we can grow distant from Jesus. Our friendship with Jesus can begin to weaken and we will begin to grow distant from him. There’s a way that we can change this. We can choose to stay close to Jesus by living a good holy Catholic life.
Jesus is telling us that He is the bread and wine, and He was sent down from Heaven and left us part of Himself.
Jesus says that he is the living bread. does this mean that we should cut him up and eat him? no. he wants us to listen, to believe. he wants us to love him of our own accord and to be able to go to mass for him and to sacrifice for him.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” Jesus is the bread of life, The Eucharist. when we go up to communion to recieve him into our bodies, into our hearts, we say one simple word; “Amen”. “i believe”. that one simple words means everything. do we truely believe that the bread we eat is the body of God? do we? when we recieve the body of Jesus, he enters into our hearts, He knocks on the door. Will you open it?
If he trust in the Lord and believe who he says he is then we will have internal life with him and he have reasons to believe by all of the miracles he has preformed and he died on the cross for us. He is our one and only Lord we just have to realize that and believe and let him work through us in all of our actions.
Jesus is foreshadowing the Mass and the Eucharist. Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died;
this is the bread that comes down from heaven
so that one may eat it and not die.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven;
whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my Flesh for the life of the world. We need to go to Mass so that we can receive Jesus and get eternal life in Heaven. If we receive Jesus then He will be the light of the world for us. We need to believe in Him so that we can love like Him. If we love like Him then we will BE with Him. So think before you act, speak, or do. We must go to Jesus for all of our problems and all of our issues. Go to God and you will be thankful.
Jesus is telling us that he in the bread and wine. Jesus came down and concurred death for us to live with him eternally. There ´ s no reason to fear God he wants us to be with him at all times. Jesus is always with us spiritually and physically. Jesus lives through us.We need to follow Jesus and believe and let him work through us.
Today’s scripture we learn “The new sacrificial meal or new Passover is Jesus Christ. Isaiah prophesies that “He will be like a sheep led to slaughter.” Today, Jesus teaches us He is the bread of life and we must eat His Flesh to have eternal life. Jesus has made a host for us everyday. Go to Mass as often as possible and be in full communion with God.” He did all of this tuff work for us to receive it in such a simple way he spent years and we just spend 1 hour in the church when we go to mass. like really? People don’t want to go get the Body Of Christ. Just receive him accept him into you, your family, and your home.
We need God and half the time we don’t even realize it. We wouldn’t be here without him and he is our everything and he helps us so much in everything. He is so necessary in our everyday lives.
In the scripture it says that Jesus talks to the people in the town and says to them, No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him, and I will raise him on the last day.” He also says to the people if you eat the bread then you will live forever.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” This phrase stuck out to me because we is telling us he is the one everyone can look back on, because he is the flesh of the world that we trust and turn back to.
“Jesus just wants to be our friend. He wants to set around the supper table and have a great conversation.” the mass is our supper with Jesus.The altar is the table,the bread is his body,and the wine is his blood.Jesus wants to lead us to heaven and by doing that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood,the mass,the mass is the supper Jesus wants to have with us,he wants to have a conversation with you and be your friend.
Love gives other happiness, and this is exactly what God has, only love, he doesn’t care how much you hurt Him or how many times you deny Him, He will always love you more than anybody could. So let us sit around the table and have good conversation with Him.
what stood out to me was . God is joy and we are a result of Him overflowing with joy. We are a result of love. God made us in his image and no matter how ugly we may feel we are like one in 8 billion a piece of shining bright diamond. It’s also telling us that we are his bread of life and we must eat his flesh. If u ever feel lonley talk to God he’s our friend that we never asked for but always need. Spread the word and have no shame because if u do and get laughed at they’ll forget about u in the next 15 minutes to a day Its like you never existed to them and that’s their lost but once u get that one person who really needs it the most it’s life changing for them and you’ll feel really proud of yourself because Jesus who’s inside you is very proud of you.
“whoever believes has eternal life.” this line stuck out to me because it makes it seem like getting into heaven is easy but it’s not. we have to believe in him in the bad times and good. and it’s really hard. God loves us and really wants us to go to him. But really, it’s our choice. the actions we choose are the ones that either will or won’t get us to Heaven.
Jesus is telling us something mind-blowing in this gospel. He is telling us that he becomes the bread at mass. no, not figuratively actually. this is something that sets us apart from every religion that ever existed on the face of the earth. He is saying that he is the living bread and that we have to eat the living bread to gain eternal life with him. afterwards a bunch of people left, some probably wanted to stone him because what he was saying they could not understand. to them he sounded like a lunatic, and He didn’t go “wait come back I was speaking figuratively”. he went to his disciples and said ” you gonna leave me too?” because he knew what he was saying.
Jesus is the body and blood of Christ. He is our savior. He is our key to eternal life. Now whether or not we use that key is up to us. Are we going to open the gate. Are we going to unlock true happiness. With God it does not matter what you look like. It doesn’t matter what people think about you because God is enough. He chases after us and we ignore him. We sin, we lie, we try to make our sins normal we try to normalize our sin. With God we are like little kids again true happiness. We won’t care what we look like or what anybody else looks like we just want to be friends with everybody. As a kid we were innocent and happy and we weren’t as hurt and broken as some people are when they grow up. Because whenever you grow up you make friends and lose some friends. You have more responsibilities. But not with God. God saves and he wants us to use our key.
he is the living bread he is who we need to look for who we need to talk to this is what we need to do teach his words and help others know who he is so they can be happy and live forever in joy and peace and so that we can learn to love one athouther be kind and love that all he whats us to do so do it and he wants us to follow the ten commandments and to not sin but we are human we have humanity so he knows that we will sin so that why we have confession so he can forgive us throgh the preast so go to confesion and be forgive and you shoud go and forgive the people that heart you an any way
The body and blood of Jesus is the most powerful and meaningful relic to the catholic faith. With out it we have no connection, no togetherness with Jesus. Jesus left us his bread and body because he loves us and he wants to guide us to heaven. But we have to believe and agknowlege it is truly Jesus in the bread and wine, and not just go through the actions because that is just something we have to do every sunday to just be catholic. No! We need to open our eyes, see that Jesus is transforming, remember that every single mass is jesus sacraficing himself again and again, and we just daze off into the distance thinking about how we are going to beat the next level of our video game. He is yelling our names and every mass we don’t agknowlege all that Jesus is doing for us every mass, every day just for us. He is chasing after us with open arms but we scoot away, and evensually, our scooting away will become running away from Jesus. From our identity, while we try to be someone we aren’t just because that is what socity tells is okay.
“THE BREAD THAT I WILL GIVE IS MY FLESH FOR THE LIFE OF THE WORLD.” JN 6:51
This quote puts the fact that Jesus really did give up his body and blood for us into perspective. Jesus sacraficed himself willingly for every single one of us, even though he didnt know us, and he knew we would all be sinners, but he didnt care. He loved us so much, and still loves us so much, that he sacraficed his own body for us, and God sacraficed his own son.
Jesus came down to say “I’m the bread of life . Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” So go to church and receive the bread of life.
God is found in silence, you have to surrender and listen. God always wills the good of the other therefore anything bad that happens to us is a result of sin. We have to trust God with our how heart soul and body.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven;whoever eats this bread will live forever;and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world” Jesus is telling us that the only way to get into heaven, if we truly believe that the Eucharist is the Body of Christ.
In the scripture today, Jesus teaches us about the Eucharist. Although this teaching might sound a little crazy, it is true the bread and wine is turned into the body and blood of Jesus, and It happens every time we go to mass.
God said if you eat my flesh you live forever and if you drink my blood you are eternal in heaven. He told everyone that when you do communion and you eat that bread he is there watching you eat his flesh and knowing you are there with him. If you also have wine during communion then you are drinking his blood. The blood that poured out of him with water. a drop of water is us and the rest is wine, his blood.
God loves us so much and some of us don’t realize how powerful his love is we need to accept his love and love him back the way he loves us.“Jesus just wants to be our friend. He wants to sit around the supper table and have a great conversation.”We just need to talk to him as if he were our best friend.
God created all of us. He deserves our love, dedication, and faith. We can all go to heaven and be with him because he made us. Jesus came down from heaven and brought people up to heaven with him. People who believe in God and have faith. We have to have faith and trust in the Father.
What God said is that if you eat his flesh you shall not die. If you were to follow God’s example then it will be good. People were listening to Jesus’ talk with a crowd. There were so many people looking at God for assistance or wisdom because he is the living God and will never let any one down.
In today’s Gospel Jesus is telling us that he is the bread of life and if we eat his flesh and drink his blood we will have eternal life. Jesus tells us that our ancestors ate the manna from Heaven in the desert but still died because they did not know Jesus.
“Whoever believes has eternal life.” So all I have to do is believe in God? Jesus told us that He is the bread of life. He came down from Heaven to give Himself up for us and all we have to do is believe in Him. That’s easy until believing in Him makes you decide whether to stay with your friends and go to a party or go to Church. That’s what Jesus is saying today. He tells us that He is the Bread of Life. When you eat it He is in you. All you have to do is believe.
Jesus tells us today that if we do not believe that what we receive at mass is truly his body and blood that they will not have eternal life but if you believe you will. On the last day he will raise up his believers to the eternal resting place of heaven where we will spend the rest of eternity in happiness with our Father.
“l am the bread of life and whoever eats this bread will live forever”.
God gives his flesh and blood for us and we still betray him but even when we betray him he still wants us to go back to him. he would do anything to have you with him, he would go for the 1 sheep of the 100 sheep if that sheep was lost.
God wants you to come back to him even if you turned away from him.
I think the scripture is telling me that Jesus is the way the truth and life. Without Jesus we are nothing. We would still be in misery and longing for someone to help us. Jesus is the only thing that we need! We don’t need our phones, or social media to be happy. Jesus presents himself to you every time you go to mass. He is there. Without communion, without us eating his flesh and drinking his blood there would be no heaven. there wouldn’t be heaven because that’s means Jesus never came down to earth, went through suffering on earth, and died. But he did! Jesus came down, suffered, and died so you can be healed. So you can get to heaven.
God is found in communion. God wants us to be fulfilled and happy. He only wants good for us. He cares about us. Jesus is the bread of life and we must receive communion to have eternal life. Jesus wants to be our best friend. He is there for us to talk to. He is there to support us. He is God and he knows what we need. He wants us to do good. His goal is to get us to heaven. God is with you no matter what you are going through. God gives us what we need. We might ask why God didn’t give us something but he is knows what we need more than anything and he knows what we don’t need. God has never made a bad decision so ask him for help because he will give you the right answer. God will help us but sometimes we don’t ask. “Ask and you shall receive”. If we talk to God and ask him to help us, he will answer.
He is telling us that He is the Bread of Life, believe and have eternal salvation with God. We can’t get to heaven ourselves, only through Jesus because Jesus opened heaven for us when he rose.
we are never alone, even if we feel like it we will never be alone. Jesus wants us. he loves us, no matter how many times we may hurt him he will still always forgive and love. there is no greater love than him. he will always be there when everyone else bails and leaves you, hew doesnt care what you look like, or what other people may say or think about you for he made you in the most perfect way in his eye in our own special unike way, just how he made sunsets and flowers they are both beautifull but look nothing alike. God loves you!!!
He is saying that He is the Bread of Life, believe and have eternal salvation with God. We can’t get to heaven ourselves, only through Jesus because Jesus opened heaven for us when he rose.
People may try to get the best of you, by making fun of who you are and how God made you, but don´t listen to people like that. If someone is going to try to bring you down, whether they are doing it for popularity or they are jealous of you, don´t let that affect you. God made everyone just the way they are for a reason. You don´t always have to live up to society. God wants you to let your true self shine through.
This shows us how Jesus is fully alive in the Eucharist and we need to realize the significance of this. When we go to mass we can’t just go through the motions. I think sometimes we forget that we receive Jesus and are too focused on other random things that are not nearly as important as God.
“My Flesh for the life of the world.” Jesus saved all of us. He is the life of our world. Jesus gave his Flesh for us. He is the reason we are able to go to heaven. He will protect us and watch over us. He is the Life of the World.
This sentence stuck out to me a lot today. The main message I took from this is that Jesus came down and conquered death. He is alive through us.
“Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life.” Jesus is in the Eucharist. We receive Jesus, our Lord, every time we receive Communion. Jesus is inside of us. It’s honestly really crazy to think about because we have another person and spirit inside of us.
I love the sublety that Jesus is putting down here. He’s not explicitely saying that He is God, just heavily implying it. I assume the people got the jist from what Jesus told them.
“Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God; he has seen the Father. Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.” Heaven is real. We will be there one day if we just believe. We have to stick with God and make Him a priority if we want to live in the most perfect place.
In the Scripture today I think it is telling me about believing in Jesus. When we believe in Jesus we can be rewarded by Him. What else it is talking about is the Eucharists. This is Jesus’ Body that we get to have in the Mass. Jesus is the one that did this for us and it makes us better people.
Nothing in this world will fulfill us unless it is Jesus. No food, drink, toy, or electronic will get us to Heaven. Jesus’ body is the only way. We must receive the Lord. He will get us to heaven, not anything else.
This scripture is talking about Jesus telling us that he is THE bread if life and that we must believe in him and that we must trust and believe in all that he has to say
In this scripture, modern Christians are compared to our ancestors. God tried to save us before multiple times, and Jesus was meant to be the ultimate sacrifice. He reminds us that Jesus is the one that will save us, and that we need to listen and believe in Him to receive the goal of our life, to be in heaven with God.
In the sacrament of Communion we need to be super respectful to God in the sacrament, He is giving us His own flesh and blood. We need to respect what we believe and show others that it’s fine to do the same. Especially the younger grades, they look up to us older students, we need to set an example for them.
It is saying that we need to eat Jesus’ bread and trust in him. He is giving himself up for us. We need to repay Him by spending time with Him.
today God is telling us that he is the Bread of life and that you have to believe and eat his flesh and drink his blood and you shall live forever. Some peopel think he is crazy after all he is done there is people that don’t believe in him
God is joy and we are a result of Him overflowing with joy. We are a result of love. Love wills the good of the other and does something about it. God is love and ALWAYS wills our good.
We need God very second of the day and half the time we don’t even realize that he could help. We wouldn’t be here without him and he is our everything, and he helps us so much in everything that he do in everyday life. He is so necessary in everything that we do and everything that we will do.
“He will be like a sheep led to slaughter.” This stuck out to me because Jesus knew what He would have to go through at some point but He never gave up and never stopped leading us to heaven even. He went through so much and He still gives us everything. We need to give back to him for all that He has done for us.
Jesus is the living Bread of life which means we need to eat that bread to live in Heaven. Also just like eating in the real world you can’t live by eating once a week.
“whoever believes has eternal life.” if we were to truly believe in just the last moments of our life, we would go to heaven. if we can not, WILL not believe, then there is no hope for humanity. God is that important to the well-being of all that has ever existed and ever will exist. I think that we are afraid to be let down, we are afraid of dying and that there is nothing beyond death. But there is, oh, there is. There is the power of all the ages that blasted the universe into existence. The One who created everything.
In the sacrament of the Eucharist we receive Jesus´s body. When we do this we have to do certain things like make sure that our body is like a temple for him. Which means no food 1 hour before Communion. But we also believe that receiving him is essential to going to heaven. We also have to have a clean soul which we get through confession.
God gave his only son life up. He did that for us. He would do anything for us. He is our savior, Jesus Christ. And they least we could do is read the bible and pray every day. We repay w=him with such hatred and all he does for us is love us so deeply. No one would ever love us the way that he loves. He cares and knows every for every individual.
Today Jesus teaches us about the bread of life and how we will live forever if we eat this bread. This stuck out to me because if we believe that Jesus is in the bread/Eucharist it will give us eternal life in Heaven with Jesus.
We need to believe. We need to listen to God. We have to be a part of the crowd. If we don’t believe that the Eucharist isn’t God than why are we going to mass? We need to let people know that God is the true savior.
At Mass we should receive the Eucharist. Jesus is the Eucharist and we need Jesus in our life. It’s important to receive Jesus because he is our path to eternal life with him in heaven.
if you believe in heaven and you believe in God you will live. you have to take God as your savior and trust him to save you from this broken world. Jesus will come down one day and the question he will ask you is are you prepared for the afterlife. we need to be prepared for we know not the time nor the hour at which he will come.
“Whoever believes has eternal life”. If we truly believe in God and believe that He was the one who died for us and to save us from our sins, we will go to Heaven and be able to spend eternity with God. When we receive the Eucharist in Mass, we are not just eating a piece of bread. We are receiving Jesus’s body.
At this time, anyone with common sense would have said, “Jesus, you’re insane.” The thought of eating someone’s flesh makes everyone cringe. But this is Jesus that we are talking about. He gave up His body and soul for us, so that we have eternal life. “Eat this bread and you shall have eternal life”
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me drew him,and I will raise him on the last day.I think this gospel is trying to tell us that Jesus is welcome to everyone. If you have done horrible bad sins and you say its over for me, it is when you give up on Christ. But when you truly believe in Christ there is always a way that God can forgive you. He is the most humble most kind most gracious person in Existence. So that being said never give up on Jesus Christ.
He has crowds gathered around Him, and He has the courage to say that He is the Son of God, the Bread of Life. He is telling the people to save themselves and believe. The crowds must have thought that Jesus was crazy. He told them to eat His flesh and drink His blood to have eternal life. If someone said that to me I would not want to do that, unless it was Jesus.

The Eucharist is God himself (or Jesus depends on what you want to call the Eucharist) but the Eucharist is God’s own flesh meaning that He is fully divine and fully human. Now people may think that it’s crazy that someone like God is fully God and fully man but it means that Jesus came down from heaven. Not only that but everything that happens in the Bible is true. This is why we are alive, this is why we sin, all of it. If it wasn’t for the Eucharist, there would be no purpose in life.
Love wills the good of the other and does something about it. God is love and ALWAYS wills our good. We should listen to God for He does everything for us and plans our whole life out before our very eyes. He knows everything and we just act like we do and really we know nothing compared to what He does. God is always watching us, loving us, and caring for us. He doesn’t want anything bad to happen but if it does all He can do is be with you and love you even stronger.
