Prayer Prompt before reading JN 7:1-2, 10, 25-30: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father and God the Son are so that I may know who I am.

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

“YET I DID NOT COME ON MY OWN, BUT THE ONE WHO SENT ME, WHOM YOU DO NOT KNOW, IS TRUE.” JN 7:1-2, 10, 25-30

Jesus, let us not allow our wickedness to blind us and our thoughts to err. Sometimes, we do not open our hearts to the Lord because we do not want to change and we want to be in control or we falsely believe we are in control. We know very well who Jesus is and where He is from. We have read the Scriptures many times. Jesus, send us your grace to read the Scriptures on our own and reflect on them to develop a personal relationship with you. “Now is the time of salvation”. 2 Cor 6:2

Lord, help us to be wise and change our ways. May we recognize our sin for what it is and stop denying it. Help us to become weak before you so we will open our hearts and allow the Light to enter and make us strong, your grace (God’s life in us). Teach us the Truths that the Father sent you to tell us, so that we may allow you to transform us and become holy and have eternal life. Amen.

Today’s challenge: Don’t allow yourself to be blind and err. Allow Jesus the Light of the world into your heart. Deny yourself and follow Christ. Take time to get to know Jesus, what He said, and what He did for us. The rewards are eternal!

Be a servant, be a saint today!
