AND ALL DAY LONG, BOTH AT THE TEMPLE AND IN THEIR HOMES,THEY DID NOT STOP TEACHING AND PROCLAIMING THE CHRIST, JESUS. ACTS 5:34-42

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Acts 5:34-42

“And all day long, both at the temple and in their homes, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the Christ, Jesus.” Today, all over the world Jesus Christ is taught in the Catholic and Christian Churches, in homes, in the streets, hospitals, villages, homeless shelters, prisons, and in our schools. In a time when prayer has been taken out of public schools, we must continue to bring Jesus Christ to the world even if we are persecuted, so we can leave “rejoicing that we have been found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name.”

“For if this endeavor or this activity is of human origin, it will destroy itself.
But if it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them;
you may even find yourselves fighting against God.”
Have the believers in Jesus Christ, the God Man, scattered yet? The teachings of Jesus Christ have survived every generation and have been handed down to us. Now, we have to decide if we are going to believe and then hand them on to the next generation.

JN 6:1-15

Today, we begin the teaching on the Holy Eucharist. It is fitting as many young boys and girls are receiving Jesus for the first time. This is a foreshadowing of what Jesus will do at the first Mass (The Last Supper). Jesus took the loaves and “gave thanks” then distributed them. Eucharist means “to give thanks”. The first Christians gave thanks and broke bread for a thousand years before any one disputed the Real Presence.

What does this all mean? Give God a little and He can do a lot with it. God’s generosity will never be outdone. The teaching on the Eucharist is one that is the most powerful in our faith and the most controversial to Christians that are not Catholic. Just wait until you see what Jesus says next….

Today’s challenge: Teach Jesus Christ wherever you go. Receive the Eucharist, it truly is the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. What more can God give to us than Himself?
