“CAN YOU MAKE THE WEDDING GUESTS FAST WHILE THE BRIDEGROOM IS WITH THEM?”

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Prayer Prompt before reading LK 5:33-39: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father and God the Son are so that I may know who I am.

“Jesus is the wedding of heaven and earth, the marriage of divinity and humanity; he is the bridegroom and the Church is the bride. In him, the most intimate union is achieved between God and the world.”  -Bishop Barron daily meditations

The divine became human so the human could become divine.  Today, take time to reflect on the Passion of Christ at Mass, in the stations of the cross, in silence at adoration or in a quiet church.  Without Christ, nothing is possible or has purpose.  Give Him His due by spending time with Him in His suffering.

Invite him into your suffering and talk to him about it. He knows what it means to suffer. Our sins caused this suffering, the least we can do is pause today and take time to be with Christ in a very intimate intentional way.

So what is the answer to a fulfilling spiritual life or experience?  Total submission, complete vulnerability, total confidence in God and not self, and an open heart and mind to the grace that Christ wants to give you so you can be transformed and be holy.  Enjoy the ride!

Today’s challenge: Allow the Divine to make you holy through the Mass, Stations of the Cross, silent prayer, Works of Mercy, reading the Bible, and evangelizing your children then go spread the Good News to all you meet!

Be a servant, be a saint today!
