Humbly submit your will to God (thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

Jesus said to the crowds:
“This is how it is with the Kingdom of God;
it is as if a man were to scatter seed on the land
and would sleep and rise night and day
and the seed would sprout and grow,
he knows not how.
Of its own accord the land yields fruit,
first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear.
And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once,
for the harvest has come.”

He said,
“To what shall we compare the Kingdom of God,
or what parable can we use for it?
It is like a mustard seed that, when it is sown in the ground,
is the smallest of all the seeds on the earth.
But once it is sown, it springs up and becomes the largest of plants
and puts forth large branches,
so that the birds of the sky can dwell in its shade.”
With many such parables
he spoke the word to them as they were able to understand it.
Without parables he did not speak to them,
but to his own disciples he explained everything in private. Mk 4:26-30

Jesus Christ came to reveal salvation to us from the Father. He is teaching in parables using examples of things that were common to the people to help them understand heavenly things. Once Jesus has revealed the Word, the Good News, the plan of salvation, He dies, resurrects, and ascends. It is our job with the power of the Holy Spirit to keep the Word, the Good News alive. We are to be Jesus for the world. Our bodies are beautiful stained glass windows that animate our souls and we are to allow the light of Christ to shine through us to the world. Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful, enkindle in them the fire of your love, send forth your Spirit and you shall renew the face of the earth (through us). We are called through Baptism to be the hands, feet, and heart of Jesus for others and bear great fruit. Do those around you see Jesus when they see you?

Today’s challenge: Strive to be Christ for others each day. Allow the light of Christ to shine through you to others and produce great fruit for the kingdom of heaven.

Be a servant, become a saint!
