Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

Jesus said to Nicodemus,
‘You must be born from above.’
The wind blows where it wills,
and you can hear the sound it makes,
but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes;
so it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
Nicodemus answered and said to him,
‘How can this happen?”
Jesus answered and said to him,
“You are the teacher of Israel and you do not understand this?
Amen, amen, I say to you,
we speak of what we know and we testify to what we have seen,
but you people do not accept our testimony.
If I tell you about earthly things and you do not believe,
how will you believe if I tell you about heavenly things?
No one has gone up to heaven
except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man.
And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert,
so must the Son of Man be lifted up,
so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” JN 3:7-15

Jesus teaches us today that we are made for a spiritual world. What does that mean? I suggest you read books about heaven and NDE (Near Death Experiences). The most interesting are NDE’s of the blind who actually can see and have never seen before. My favorite is “Proof of Heaven” by a neurologist who knows how the brain works and was not much of a spiritual person until he had his NDE. Read the parables. Jesus tells us the, “the Kingdom of heaven is like….”. The parables are mainly about God’s love and forgiveness for His people. God’s love is very different than ours. It is limitless. It is radical. It is unreasonable. It is permanent and never ending. Last, don’t forget Jesus’ body is the first physical thing to enter into the spiritual realm. Mary’s body the second. After the Second Coming, the physical and spiritual will be made anew. Jesus marries these two worlds through His Death and Resurrection.

Today’s challenge: Take time today to reflect on heaven. What does it really mean to have a spiritual homeland? This is a hard belief that takes knowledge, understanding, and God’s grace to increase our faith! How should this change the way you live your life?

Be a servant, become a saint!
