“FOR THERE IS NOTHING HIDDEN EXCEPT TO BE MADE VISIBLE; NOTHING IS SECRET EXCEPT TO COME TO LIGHT.” MK 4:21-25
Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus said to his disciples,
“Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket
or under a bed,
and not to be placed on a lampstand?
For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible;
nothing is secret except to come to light.
Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.”
He also told them, “Take care what you hear.
The measure with which you measure will be measured out to you,
and still more will be given to you.
To the one who has, more will be given;
from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” MK 4:21-25
Jesus teaches us today that He sees everything. He is the Light. The Light casts away darkness. St. Francis says, “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” Jesus conquered sin and death and saved us. We will be judged by this Light. The Light reveals everything we try to hide on judgement day that we have not asked forgiveness for and are truly sorry for.
Like a windshield driving into the sun which reveals all of the imperfections, the Light, Jesus Christ will reveal the good and the bad on judgement day. God is merciful, but also just! God made us in His image and likeness, takes away our Original Sin and replaces it with sanctifying grace, and Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit into us so that we would have nothing to hide. What are you hiding? What do you not want others to know and see. Work on it, bring it to Jesus and ask Him to uproot it.
The Truths revealed by Christ for the salvation of the world are not to be hidden. We are made out of love, it is not made to be held on to. We are called to read these Truths, memorize them, and live them in our actions. There is nothing more important than the Good News, Christ has risen, our sins are forgiven through baptism, and we are free from the bondage of sin and death.
We get so distracted from the most important thing that has been passed down to us. Jesus has risen. He is fully alive in the Eucharist, the Word, and the Holy Spirit is in us! Pass it on! The more love and compassion we give the more we recognize God’s love and compassion on us. The more generous we are with others the more we recognize the generosity God has with us. The more we forgive the more we learn of God’s mercy on us. The more we search out our identity and gifts God gave us to share with others and glorify Him, the more we recognize our purpose and live with passion and mission.
Today’s challenge: Find Truth, share love, live with passion! God is waiting for you to cooperate with Him and set the world on fire!
Be a servant, become a saint!

Jesus sees everything, he knows what we do.
If you have something like a talent, the talent isn’t meant to be hidden, it’s to be shown and used. If you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you aren’t meant to keep quiet about God, you are meant to proclaim the good news.
What reached out to me was when Jesus said, “Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear”. What this means to me is that we can’t deafen ourselves from the Church through social media or any other distractions. We have a purpose in our lives that we can’t ignore so we need to follow it and keep our minds set on that purpose.
In this Gospel, Jesus tells us to shine the light we have in our heart and show it to the world. If we have a gift, we should share it with others. We need to be a light that shines in this dark world. We should be a good example towards others.
that you shooh triy yor baes and foool you pathin fath and allway remember jesus and god is with us how we get i g all the wya and mary and josus is allway with us and are fammly memb atre all with us
Jesus is Omniscient, he knows everything. We cannot hide from the Lord. He sees you and knows you. He loves you so much and wants you to be with Him. Nothing we could do could ever extinguish the love God has for us.
In this scripture Jesus is trying to tell us that he is the way the truth and the light and that he wants us to follow him cause he will light up our darkness in our world.
In todays reading ¨Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear¨΅stuck out to me because it is Jesus telling us that we have to listen to be able achieve the plans God has made for us. So by listening to the word and listening in silent prayer we are able to hear God to better obey his words.
A phrase that stuck out to me is Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket or under a bed. I like this phrase because it says to me that Jesus is the light on a light post. My last reason I like this phrase is because It tells me in the darkness of night there is still light.
In Genesis, Adam and Eve tried to hide from God. What they didn’t know was that they couldn’t hide from God. Nobody can hide from God. God is omniscient and sees everything. We as sinners often think that being sneaky with our sins will make it less visible to God. We believe if our parents or teachers don’t see it then somehow God won’t see it. Instead of trying to hide our sin when we do sin, be open about it to God in the confessional. God knows that we sin, He understands we aren’t perfect. He wants to forgive us because He loves us.
Honestly while reading that passage all i could think about is how Jesus Christ made everything for a reason. There is a reason for everything, good and bad. God has a purpose for it and we have to understand and trust Him.
I think Jesus is saying that we need to open our hearts to listen to the word of God and that he is making it seem so obvious but we can’t open them without acknowledging his presence.
“Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.” Jesus wants us to listen to him of course but we need to not just listen but to take it in and fully examine what he has said. If we don’t do that than we are just going along with whatever not fully understanding what it is we are supporting which is never a good thing. We need to understand so we can be with him forever in heaven.
Jesus can see what we are doing at all times. He can shine his light in every corner of our mind and soul. He knows everything about us. He knows how to help us but he can’t do that alone. We have to be willing to be with him and his father. Jesus died and rose again for us but we don’t seem to care. Be open to his call and then join him in heaven when the time comes.
Today ´ s scripture is very important and has so many different meanings. I took this one a different way and I thought the meaning was we cannot ever hide anything from Jesus or Mary. Jesus knows us and can find us, we cannot run away from him. He wins hide and seek every time. He knows us, our worries, our strengths, our weaknesses. Don´t run away, run closer to him.
This Gospel is telling me that nothing is hidden from God. This reminded me of Adam and Eve when they tried to hide from God in the Garden. God is saying that if we do something wrong we should try to hide it we should ask forgiveness and go to confession.
Jesus tells us that there will be judgment day. Just because we are catholic we do not get a free pass into heaven. We too must live the Catholic way of life. We will be judged on how we treat others in this world.
Some people believe that you can hide from Jesus but that is just impossible. Jesus is always with us he knows what we do and when we do it. Jesus is everywhere.
light defeats darkness. where there is darkness, let there be light. Christ is our light, He defeats the darkness of the devil. nobody can hide from God. if you hide in the dark He will put you in the light. He is our light. Let him light the way to heaven.
We cannot hide anything from Jesus he knows the truth, He knows our future. He knows what we were made for.For example Kane he killed his brother and tried to lie and it didn’t end well at all. It all comes down to Judgmental day…..
He knows everything he is God there is nothing to hide from him he will find it and if you try to hid it it might make the situation harder and more uncomfortable just tell him.
I feel that in today’s scripture Jesus is telling us that we need to use what He gave us to get to Heaven like, hearing for when the kingdom of God is at hand. We must use ourselves to be the light of these times, we need to be ready to face God, Himself when we die. We live to get back to our creator. My favorite line from today’s scripture is this, For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible;
nothing is secret except to come to light.
Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.”
Jesus made us in his image and likeness so we are made for him and to fall in love with him and are made for a reason and to follow his will.
There is a purpose for everything, if you have a talent then that was meant to be, if you get in a car wreck that had a purpose, Jesus has a plan for all of us and we need to trust whatever he does in our life.
Jesus says “Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket
or under a bed,
and not to be placed on a lampstand?”
Jesus made us for diffrent things and we cant hide just like a lamp doesn’t go under a bed it needs to be on a table or else its useless.
Like a windshield against the sun God can see all imperfections on judgement day. We should not try to cover them up, we need to confess and accept that we are humans and we all make mistakes. As long as we keep coming to Jesus and asking for forgiveness, our sins will be forgiven.
the lamp is like our talent, and it is not supposed to be hidden it is supposed to be shown. like the people who use there talent for good they will be given more talent than before, however if you use your talent for bad it will be taken away.
We can’t hide anything from God he sees all,and hears all.Nothing can be hidden, like the candle and the darkness for example he is the candle going through the darkness shining light on all of our secrets we try to hide.
Jesus teaches us today, He sees everything. This phrase stuck out to me, it tells us that any bad thing or action we make he will see, that is why we must go to confession and tell Jesus sorry for what we have done.
God does everything for a reason he gives us ears to hear Jesus he gives us hands to worship. He gives us mouths to preach his word. He gives us eyes to read his word. God has done everything for the good of hummanity because we all are created in his own image and likeness.
We can not hide anything from Jesus He sees everything we try to hide from him when we feel like we did something so wrong we can never be forgiven so we try to hide from it but Jesus saw us and even when we do make those kind of mistakes he still doesn’t look down on us, we will always be forgiven by him even if we do make a mistake he still wants us to be with him.
It’s saying that nothing can be hidden from God. Just like when Adam and Eve tried to hide what they had done from God but he found out. And that Jesus knows all our weaknesses and all our fears too. And that we can’t run away from God.
“Jesus teaches us today that He sees everything. He is the Light.” Jesus knows and sees everything you can’t hide anything from Jesus
Which means a lot and we can live life to a full and go further from this. Jesus is always trying to speak top us
In Genesis, Adam and Eve tried to hide from God.
The measure with which you measure will be measured out to you, and still more will be given to you. To the one who has, more will be given. We measure Jesus love with us and thing we are better.
What God is trying to say is that things should be taken care of and used properly; we shouldn’t use a water bottle just to pour the water on someone, but to drink out of it.
Jesus will judge us when we die. We are watched every second of our life. Everything you think he will know all the things you do he will know since he is the Son of God, The Messiah, the lord of all. People always say like “Oh i don’t have a choice” well you do. God doesn’t make yours path you start the path and end it.
We can’t hide our sins from God he was there when we made the sin and he see it on our soul even though he knows you sined he is still constatly inviting you back to the confesional.
What stuck out to me is that We are made out of love, it is not made to be held on to. We are called to read these Truths, memorize them, and live them in our actions. There is nothing more important than the Good News, Christ has risen, our sins are forgiven through baptism, and we are free from the bondage of sin and death. We have to remember to treat our neighbor as want to be treated because they are also made from God and deserve respect just like you.
“Jesus teaches us today, He sees everything.” This stuck out to me because it tells me that we can’t hide anything from him, because any bad action we make he will see, that’s why we have to go to confession.
I think Jesus is telling us to listen for him and that we cannot hide from him. Adam and Eve attempted to hide from God in the garden for eating the fruit but what is our reason to hide from God? God will always find us because everything we do leads us back to the cross.
Today, I feel like Jesus wants me to listen to Him in the scriptures. I feel like He is telling me that I have to pay attention to Him and the signs He gives me throughout the day. I feel like He is telling me once I hear Him and what He wants from me to spread the Word of God and what He told me to everyone I know and be His missionary.
What stuck out to me was when Jesus said that we cannot hide. God always knows where we are. We are like walking lamps, we cannot be hidden from God, so if you do something bad and try to hide from God, he will know what you did and that you are trying to hide from him. Just like when Adam and Eve tried to hide from God after they sinned, but God found them easily.
God is merciful, but also just! God made us in His image and likeness, takes away our Original Sin and replaces it with sanctifying grace, and Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit into us so that we would have nothing to hide.
so we shouldn’t be mad about how we look and we should in-brace how you look instead of covering it up or hiding it.
“Jesus conquered sin and death and saved us. We will be judged by this Light. ” This means that on our last day we will by judged by Christ to see how many times we chose Him over other things.
I think the scripture is saying to not try to hide things. We can’t hide things from God because God is the light. Jesus sees everything we do and don’t do. He still loves us even when we make the wrong choice. Jesus is our light and our salvation we should not want to find anything from him because he loves us and cares for us. That’s sin telling us to hide things from God. Don’t listen to sin, show God your true self ( even though he already knows your true self)
God sees all. You can’t hide from him. He brings out to light all the good and bad but is merciful. He will show us great kindness. We have to believe in him because he is the truth of this world. He is our savior and light.
“FOR THERE IS NOTHING HIDDEN EXCEPT TO BE MADE VISIBLE; NOTHING IS SECRET EXCEPT TO COME TO LIGHT.” what i got from this was how god made us all in his likeness. we are all guilty of feeling unworthy of things but this just shows why we shouldnt be and how we should embrace areselfs and stay positive even if there seems to be no positive things in our life but there is so much!! we look around and see all these beautifull creations and take them for granted constantly! lifes all about adventure god gave us a beatifull earth to call our home! God loves you!!!!
It’s hard sometimes to step out of our way for other people. It’s hard to realize why we are here and what we need to do for God. Life is hard! We deal with pain and suffering every day because we are sinners and we have fallen human nature. Every good deed that we do for someone builds us up more than we will ever know. We fill ourselves up when we give ourselves away. (I think that’s a quote from someone but I don’t know who.) Basically, we do more for ourselves when we sacrifice for others.
If you have a talent it isn’t meant to be hidden your supposed to show it off because God gave you it.
What stuck out to me was that Jesus is the Light and He sees everything. The Light will show us everything we hide on judgement day. The Light reveals all the good and the bad on judgement day.
In earthly life, we need to embrace our talents, not neccesarily physical talents like sports, but spiritual talents like time and praying. We also need to realize the bad things we do will be revealed on judgement day so cant hide them from God.
This Gospel is saying that we shouldn’t hide our sin. Jesus already knows if we have sin on our soul. So why hide it?
Jesus is the light we need to follow. As humans we are lost in the darkness of our sins. Jesus brings the light to us because he loves us. No matter how lost we are in our sins, or our thoughts Jesus will always be the light of our world. Jesus will lead us to eternal happiness.
What this scripture is saying is that everyone has talent and everyone is worth something. Everyone has an importance and purpose in life. Our talents should not be hidden. We should go out and share them with the world.
Jesus always knows what we are doing and thinking. Even though there might be things you want to hide from Him, you can’t. He will always know. Never be scared to talk to God, He will always understand.
“Is a lamp brought in to be placed under a bushel basket
or under a bed,
and not to be placed on a lampstand?
For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible;
nothing is secret except to come to light.
This scripture proves that we are not perfect. We see ourselves much differently than God does, he sees all our imperfections and out goodness. So we should see in Gods eyes not ours.
Jesus is the Light. He made us. The talents he gave us should not be hidden. We are here on earth for a purpose.
I think that this Gospel goes to show that what you give, you recieve. The kindness you show towards others, the more kindness you will recieve back. Give all that you have, and more will be given to you.
what stuck out to me was Jesus teaches us today that He sees everything. This means Jesus is always watching us so we should always try to do good things.
We cannot hide from God. He knows us all and sees who we are. We were put on the Earth for us to fulfill our purpose that God gave us. He loves us and believes that every single one of us is important. We must follow his will and fulfill His purpose for Him, so we can enter Heaven.
what the scripture is telling me is that jesus is trying to tell us that we should notice the things we dont typically see. you should llok further into the things you see on a regular basis and listen carefully to thing you hear. if you dont do it then what has been there will be taken away.
For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; There is nothing we can hide from God. He knows everything because He is everything. We need to be present in Him and visible. We all have sin and can’t get rid of it. But God still forgives us! So we need to be visible in Him or be with Him.
Jesus talks about the light and how it shouldn’t be hidden and it should be held in a place where it can shine. the light Jesus it talking about is our faith and the news of the gospel, it should not be hidden, it should be shared and spread to everyone willing to listen.
Jesus keeps no secrets and therefore we should not keep any secrets from God. Although God already knows he likes being told about stuff and we should be open to him like we are in confession. We tell him about our sins and he would love to be told.
Jesus says that anyone who has ears ought to hear. i think that the same concept applies to your soul. if you have a soul use it to pray and communicate to God Don ´ t wast your potential.
This gospel tells us to shine bright for our faith. In today’s world people don´t seem to care about Jesus and his teachings. Most of them are against the word of God. We need to show the true power of God by not hiding from Jesus but to show your love and stick out for the church.
“He also told them, “Take care what you hear.” I believe this means don’t spread rumors about others that aren’t true. Don’t tell people things that will hurt them. A lot of people are fragile and they can get hurt easily. Don’t tell lies about one another. We tend to like to change the stories that we have heard from school or wherever you are just don’t. Take care of others and don’t tell lies about them to other people.
This scripture is actually really important because Jesus made you for a reason just like the lamp isn’t supposed to be under the bed your bible shouldn’t be in your closet or tucked away. it is supposed to be by your bed and easy to read or you are not supposed to be hiding from God.
I think this scripture is about how God sees all of our sins and we can only keep our sins secret while we are living. When we die all of our sins will be laid out for all to see.
What stuck out to me was “FOR THERE IS NOTHING HIDDEN EXCEPT TO BE MADE VISIBLE; NOTHING IS SECRET EXCEPT TO COME TO LIGHT.” because there is nothing that you can keep forever at some point the truth will have to come out one way or another. You can’t hide from anyone especially from God wherever you are God will be there no matter how hard you try. We should always be honest not only to others but to ourselves too.
In the Scripture today I feel like Jesus is telling me that He gave us a life to go and spread His word and go live life and not to hide from everyone and to go out and be who you are and Spread the word.
“‘Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.’ He also told them, ‘Take care what you hear.'” This part resonated with me in particular. We hear the good news, and we should take care of it by spreading it around.
This Scripture tells us to share our talents with the rest of the world and not to hide our talents because we are scared to be judged. We cannot live our lives and always be scared of what others think or we will never get anywhere.
“For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible” We all sin, and we all try to hide our sin, but there is nothing that God doesn’t know. You cannot hide anything from God. He is all-seeing and all-knowing. We need to confess our sins instead of trying to hide them.
For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible. God will never keep anything from us. We are His. He won’t leave us on our own. Our God will never abandon us.
“Take care what you hear.” This phrase stood out to me. Just the phrase “Take care what you hear” just has something so inspiring to it. The fun thing is I don’t even know why. Something about the phrase just hits my heart in a different way.
This scripture is talking about how Jesus know s us from the back of his hand and that Jesus is saying that we will be judge by a light and this lights is like everything it keep that darkness away us and it particles does everything to not let evil get to us.
“For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; nothing is secret except to come to light” That was the phrase that stuck out to me. I think it’s saying that God knows everything, and that we can’t hide anything from Him. It kind of reminds me of the story of Adam and Eve, how they tried to hide the fact that they ate the fruit from Him. He knew anyways, he saw through their lie. We shouldn’t and can’t hide things from God, no matter how hard we try, He always knows.
What really stood out to me in this scripture today was how perfect everything is around us. God has gifted us with more than we can understand. I think we take advantage of the beautiful gifts God has given us. I hope we all start thanking God for everything he gives us.
“For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible; nothing is secret except to come to light.” This quote from the passage stood out to me because there is nothing we could hide from God. You may think you hid it, but God knows everything. God sees everything you do, whether it’s good or bad. “Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.” This quote also stood out to me because we need to hear God’s will. We have ears, we should use them right instead of listening and hearing cuss words in songs and social media.
In this scripture Jesus says “Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.” Which I think that kind of says that everyone is equal because everyone has ears so no one is made better than the other, it doesn’t matter what family you were born into, if you have disabilities we all are equal in our own ways.
It is saying that we shouldn’t hide our sin from God, He already knows all the bad things that we have done. He won’t be ashamed of us, he will always love us no matter what.
Jesus gave us so much information as well as no information. Jesus has told us all these things that we don’t know what it means. We will all have the eternal knowledge of what Jesus had said in Heaven. God wants us to learn about the mysteries of the Trinity. We are not going to be able to find out the information if we don’t seek it (Him). Strive to get to God and strive to get the information that is necessary for us to become saints.
I think the scripture is telling us all to be generous. Being generous is not only about giving away extra money to a shelter this week, but it is also about volunteering for different places such as, The Lord’s Diner or even just a school for a little while. The quote, “The more you give, the more you receive” is very true in the sense the more you give of yourself, the more you will enjoy Paradise.
This is my favorite Gospel in the Bible. This Gospel tells us to not hide what God has given us. Sometimes kids who don’t do sports and like to do stuff that is “nerdy” in the eyes of the economy don’t like to participate in those activities if people consider them “weird” for liking to do those things. For example a girl who likes to read may never read in front of her classmates because they think they will judge her. Basiccly this is showing us to be thankful and show what God has given us.
Today ´ s scripture is very important and has so many different meanings. I took this one a different way and I thought the meaning was we cannot ever hide anything from Jesus or Mary. Jesus knows us and can find us, we cannot run away from him.
I really like what Jesus says here. “What is invisible must become visible’. I find it super a very interesting philosophy. Things are hidden only to be found. Don’t hide feelings or yourself, because it will be found.
When these two bishops died God was with them. So this means that when you are going to heaven God with be with you.
Jesus knows every little thing we do. We might try to hide from God because of our sin like Adam and Eve did, but God will still find out. We need to abandon our sin to have everlasting life in Heaven.
“Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.”
We need to listen to our call as christains to do all things God calls us to do
We get so distracted from the most important thing that has been passed down to us. Jesus has risen. To me this means that we are on our phones to much and that we sould take at least 5 minutes out of our day to just pray
We can’t hide from God pay not going to Church but it does just pushes us away from Him that is why Jesus said “Whoever has ears has ought to hear.”.
as I read this, I see what God means, we do not keep anything hidden from him, we never try to, we never can.
“All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” This stood out to me because when God suffered for us, he was hurting and the world was dark but that didn’t stop God from saving us. So we need to spread the word of God and if someone doesn’t believe, we shouldn’t stop believing.
How can someone with ears be so deaf to the word of God? Why do we choose to ignore our good and holy Savior? We fall away from our Lord because it’s not ‘cool’ people are so worried about what others think they don’t think for themselves. What I got from this was- Don’t be afraid to love the almighty God who made you. Even if something is ‘cool’ if it’s right you should still do it.
“FOR THERE IS NOTHING HIDDEN EXCEPT TO BE MADE VISIBLE; NOTHING IS SECRET EXCEPT TO COME TO LIGHT.” MK 4:21-25
Why i like this line is because Jesus knows everything about you like it says there is nothing hidden except to be made visible nothing is secret except to come to light so trying to hide things from the lord is impossible like in genesis when Adam and Eve tried to hide from God God knew where they were so you should always be honest with the Lord.
Like a windshield driving into the sun which reveals all of the imperfections, the Light, Jesus Christ will reveal the good and the bad on judgment day. God is merciful, but also just! God made us in His image and likeness, took away our Original Sin and replaced it with sanctifying grace, and Jesus breathed the Holy Spirit into us so that we would have nothing to hide. I like how it compares to a windshield since nothing is perfect. We just think we have to be to get to heaven when we just need to love God with all our heart, mind and soul.
I think God is trying to say if you hide something you aren’t hiding it from me you are hiding it from yourself. I think that reminds us of Judgement day. We don’t remember all of the bad things we did to hurt our relationship with God and slowly drift away from him but when Judgement Day comes we just beg him to let us go into Heaven but we had our life on Earth to ask him and if we wait until Judgement Day we won’t get the opportunity to correct our mistakes and go to confession to forgive our sins and do indulgences. I think God is trying to tell us we have our chance to get to Heaven now and we won’t have that chance again and we should take it.
“FOR THERE IS NOTHING HIDDEN EXCEPT TO BE MADE VISIBLE; NOTHING IS SECRET EXCEPT TO COME TO LIGHT.” MK 4:21-25
God knows everything he knows your true intentions. No matter what God will always love you, he created you in his own image.
“For there is nothing hidden except to be made visible.” God can see everything. God knows everything so you shouldn’t try and hide from him or hide something from him. God knew what Adam and Eve did, yet he still asked because he wants us to tell the truth. You can’t lie to God so it is better to tell the truth and to follow him instead of hiding.
“Take care what you hear.” This part stuck out to me the most because we hear the word of God but don’t tell other people. We like to tell other people gossip and stuff that is going on in our lives but we don’t tell them about the word of God. We need to “take care” of what we hear and make sure we are not hearing bad things then telling other people about them.
i really like this because this show that what ever happens is for a reason you meet people for a reason there are no coicdences its all for a reason. whatever is bad and is kept away shall be brought into light and everyone will see the true thing.
We can’t get distracted and choose things over God. We must also not hide from God he knows everything and we need to trust in him.
It is hard for me to think that I will be judged. I think over my life, and I say how could I ever get to Heaven? I sometimes have a fear that confession didn’t work, that God did not forgive me. How can I know if he forgave me? I know that God will be merciful, but to what extent? I am kind of scared of judgment day, whether I will be worthy of forgiveness, or not. But I think we just have to trust God, do our best to follow his will, and well, love.
Today scripture said to me that God knows everything and you can not hide from him. We cant hide from him so we should give ourselves up to him and God.God is the one true divine being and we should not seek to hide things or our doingsfrom him but we should open our hearts to love him.
For there is nothing hidden except to made visible; nothing is secret except come to life. This stuck out to me because it show that when Jesus shines the light he will see all of your sins and on judgement day he will.I think that confessing your sins is better than hiding them because then you don’t have something weighing on your soul.
What you give, you receive. This is what this message tells me. We need to act like Jesus does, in doing so, we find what other people need, whether it is a feeling or an action, we get more happiness back.
He gave us the Scripture to light the way, to guide us. He died to save us, gave us the scripture, also gave us the Holy Spirit, and He never holds any grudges. We should listen to God and go to Him, not hiding.
” Anyone who has ears to hear ought to hear.” I like this phrase because I feel like it is saying that we should listen for God in prayer. I feel like when we listen to the Gospel we don’t always understand what he is trying to say. If we listen closely to them we might be able to understand what He is trying to tell us and then we can spread the good news to others.
it says that you dont light a lamp and hide it under a bushel basket. this is the same with us. our light should shine and light up the world.
In this scripture it is saying that God knows everybody and their sins. If we think we can hide our sins from Jesus on judgment day, you can’t. Jesus sees us and knows everything we’re thinking, doing, and feeling and he can help us with those things if we ask him.
