Jesus said to his disciples:
“Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine,
lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces.
“Do to others whatever you would have them do to you.
This is the Law and the Prophets.
“Enter through the narrow gate;
for the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction,
and those who enter through it are many.
How narrow the gate and constricted the road that leads to life.
And those who find it are few.” Mt 7:6, 12-14
We have heard the Golden Rule several times, today try to live it. It is a great daily challenge. Jesus is the narrow gate. He says few find it, but He does not say few enter it. Our job as baptized Christians called to be saints is to get the Good News out and the best way to do that is through our example to others. It starts in our homes. We are all called to be missionaries in our homes. This is what has led more souls through the narrow gate than anything else, people living the example of Jesus Christ.
Today’s challenge: Die to self, put on Christ and BE an example for others starting in your own home.
Become a saint!
