Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.
Jesus went to the district of Tyre.
He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it,
but he could not escape notice.
Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him.
She came and fell at his feet.
The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth,
and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
He said to her, “Let the children be fed first.
For it is not right to take the food of the children
and throw it to the dogs.”
She replied and said to him,
“Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.”
Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go.
The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed
and the demon gone. MK 7:24-30
The Syrophoenician woman is a non-Jew and a foreigner. She is unclean according to Jewish law. She has not been raised in Jewish ways and does not understand or know about the story of God and His chosen people of Israel. This is why Jesus says, “Let the children be fed first (Jews).” She perseveres, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” She understands that she is not worthy but she believes Jesus has the power to heal her daughter who she loves. Faith consists of trust, perseverance, and humility. As we are about to embark on another 40 days in the desert, we will be fasting, praying, and giving alms. This is a great checkpoint to see how strong your faith is. What parts of your life or sin is leading you away from Christ? Is your faith lukewarm? Are you sitting on the fence? Ask Jesus to increase your faith this Lenten season!
Today’s challenge: Faith begins with hope. Pope Francis said that Christian hope is born in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a belief that begins in your heart. When we realize we cannot do life on our own, we fall to our knees and ask God for help. We then start a journey of faith by seeking Jesus Christ and we sit and begin to learn about Him in the Scriptures. Once we have discovered the joy that Christ brings, we want to share it, which is love.
God, please increase in me faith, hope, and love.
Be a servant, become a saint!

help each other to strive by getting demos out means that person i helping them to get closer to God.
God can release demons from us and keep us pure as long as we believe in him
I learned that God loves everyone. Even those who don’t even know him. He forgives everyone no matter what they do.
The woman knows she is unworthy, however, she perseveres. We are unworthy, but we still need to persevere and believe in Jesus. We need to be humble and realize that we are small. We need to thank God for healing us. He is so wonderful to heal us even when we are not worthy. Trust in Jesus. BE HUMBLE. Amen:)
I like the response of the woman who Needs help it shows she has faith that Jesus really can cure her daughter.
If we ask of Jesus and pray to him often he will grant us the grace to whatever it is that we need. We shall always offer ourselves up for others.

The woman is not a believer in Christ but has enough faith in him to know he can heal her daughter. The Lord will come to us and help us if we faith in him. If a nonbeliever has faith in Christ than we as Catholics should have more knowledge and more faith in him.
Jesus is always there to “clean our souls”. If we are genuinely sorry, He will forgive us.
The woman is not clean and make poor choices but Jesus healing her daughter changed that all around by removing the demond from her.
This is an inspiring gospel. You always make a great reflection. It takes courage to get up early every day, read the gospel, and make a reflection. Great job keep doing what you’re doing.
Just because someone is below you in some way, shape, or form, doesn’t mean that they don’t have the rights to be blessed. Some think that, but everyone deserves God in their lives.
It´s telling us that we should love everyone like brothers and sisters of Christ.
Hello Mr.G! The woman, as Jesus said, has great faith even. Even if she is considered “not pure” in he own religion. We should have the same faith in Jesus that she had.
God is revealing to us that if we have faith he will answer our prayers. The woman respected Jesus and had faith and therefore her child was healed.
The woman, as Jesus said, has great faith. Even if she was considered not pure in her own religion. We should have the same faith in Jesus as she did.
Jesus is saying that we should feed our loved ones before are pets and feed are pets after we feed our children. We also need to feed everyone that is starving so that they can live their life and not die hungry.
I like how the woman is begging Jesus and she knows she is not worthy but Jesus loves everyone so much he healed her daughter.
Accept everyone in the church of God
This has told me to be generous to the people who are needy.
In this the mother of the child is saying for the lowest and highest eat the scraps of the Lord the Son of God. It does not matter what your ranking is God will always be above us and until we can admit that we will not be as close to God as we could be. He loved us so much he sent His only son to save us, if that is not enough, then what is??
When we talk to Jesus, we should know how to respond. If we truly love and understand him then we will believe and know how to respond.
That even if your not catholic Jesus will love and forgive you.
If we completely trust in God he will give us everything that we need.
That we should be respectful to God and his saints, angels, and most importantly: Jesus. He gave us the gift of life and we should give our lives up to God. He made our lives and we should be grateful for this important gift of a Catholic education and we should give back to the church or our families(whoever needs more gets more).
We should know and love Jesus. To be able to, you need to understand him first. Then you can really talk to Him and know how to respond.
when the woman said all those things it made me realize how blessed we are.
The Lord is saying that those who have none will be given food through the people who do. They receive the remains of what was not eaten prior to the receiving the food. They receive the food that isn’t wanted but God tells us that he wants all of us no matter who we are or what we have done for we are his sons and daughters. Just keep in mind that love will always win
Jesus is telling us that if we just call to him our he will anwser our prayers
We should all pray to God and ask forgiveness and accept that God sent Jesus down to die for our sins so we should help him back in even the smallest of ways.
he will clean our souls and we will be pure at heart
As long as we put God first he will always help us and put us first as well
we must pray and have faith in God. And when we do that our prayers can be answered, and we can be healed.
The woman had great faith. Even though she was unclean according to her religion. We should be strong in our faith just like the woman.
God is telling me to be humble to him and he will always love us.
We are pure and and God will always love us no matter what.
We should know and love Jesus. To be able to, you need to understand him first. Then you can really talk to Him and know how to respond.
Jesus is saying how Jesus is always listening to us, even if we are very very very very far away from him he will still hear are prayers. And if we ask God for forgiveness then he will forgive us.
God is telling us that if we ask him something in prayer and we are faithful to him that some of our prayers will be answered. She had faith in Jesus and listened to what he said and her request was answered and her daughter was healed. He wants us to know that if we believe in him and do good for him, there is good on our path of life.
Jesus is showing us that he will help us if we believe and trust in him.
We need to love Jesus our savior and king just as much as he loves us and it is very possible by just loving him with everything to the point that you would die for him because that woman had faith that’s why her daughter was healed so we need to love like we all have a little faith because you only go to church because you believe in Jesus and belief is faith
