Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

As Jesus got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea,
so that the boat was being swamped by waves;
but he was asleep.
They came and woke him, saying,
“Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
He said to them, “Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?”
Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea,
and there was great calm.
The men were amazed and said, “What sort of man is this,
whom even the winds and the sea obey?”  MT 8:23-27

When I wake in the morning, my mind can be a violent storm.  I am terrified of the day ahead.  I am swamped with the days activities and wondering how I am going to survive.  What is Jesus doing during this time?  Sleeping!  Our days’ activities and the worries of life are small compared to the salvation of our soul.  If we have a very busy stressful day ahead of us, the most important thing to do is to come to Jesus in the silence and be at peace.  God will put things into perspective when you come to Him.  The Devil loves to make things look worse then they really are.  He loves worry and stress.  When we are weak and afraid, Jesus is always with us, waiting for us to come to Him.  When we make the decision to come to Him, He will rebuke the worry and stress, put the big picture into perspective, and we can enjoy the calm in the midst of the storm!

Today’s challenge: When you wake with worry and fear, come to Jesus in silence and listen to Him.  Be a steady rock, while others worry and live in fear.

Be a servant, become a saint!
