Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he had finished,
one of his disciples said to him,
“Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.”
He said to them, “When you pray, say:

Father, hallowed be your name,
your Kingdom come.
Give us each day our daily bread
and forgive us our sins
for we ourselves forgive everyone in debt to us,
and do not subject us to the final test.”  Lk 11:1-4

St. Augustine says the entire Gospel always leads back to a part of the Our Father.

Our Father (many saints stop here and realize the blessing it is to be allowed to call God, Our Father; God the Father has no grandchildren, we are all first generation spiritually adopted sons and daughters; Abba means “daddy”)

who art in heaven hallowed be thy name (I kneel before you as a sinner who needs your mercy to worship, adore, and glorify you-be humble; holy is thy name)

thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven (I submit my will to you, please give me the courage, strength, and grace to do your will over mine-there are only two types of people on judgment day-my will be done or thy will be done, it’s a choice we make with every decision every day; consecrate everything you are and have to God each day so He may use you to be who He created you to be so that we may bring heaven to earth by doing the Father’s Will)

give us this day our daily bread (thank you God for taking care of our every need physically and spiritually, I trust in you, with your grace may my eyes see those who are in need around me)

and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us (may your grace give me the strength to forgive so that I may be forgiven as you forgive me, may your grace lead me not to judge or label, please have mercy on my soul)

and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen (I believe).

Today’s challenge: Say an Our Father on your knees every day when you wake up thinking about the above words then put them into action each day and you will begin to live the Good News, the Gospel message of Christ! The best way to pray-“Take the time”

“Pray without ceasing.” 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Be a servant, become a saint!
