Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.
But early in the morning he arrived again in the temple area,
and all the people started coming to him,
and he sat down and taught them.
Then the scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman
who had been caught in adultery
and made her stand in the middle.
They said to him,
“Teacher, this woman was caught
in the very act of committing adultery.
Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women.
So what do you say?”
They said this to test him,
so that they could have some charge to bring against him.
Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground with his finger.
But when they continued asking him,
he straightened up and said to them,
“Let the one among you who is without sin
be the first to throw a stone at her.”
Again he bent down and wrote on the ground.
And in response, they went away one by one,
beginning with the elders.
So he was left alone with the woman before him.
Then Jesus straightened up and said to her,
“Woman, where are they?
Has no one condemned you?”
She replied, “No one, sir.”
Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you.
Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” JN 8:1-11
Today, Jesus teaches us that He does not condemn, we condemn ourselves. He came to save us not condemn us. Sin hurts our relationship with God. When we sin, God doesn’t move, we move ourselves away from God. God is love. True love wills the good of the other. So, our Father always wills our good.
Second, as the verse before the Gospel says, “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked man, says the Lord, but rather in his conversion, that he may live.” Third, we are all sinners. Which one of us does not need God’s love and mercy? We are called to have a big heart and imitate Christ to convert hearts. The scribes and the Pharisees are stuck in the law and self-righteousness.
A person often judges others quickly, I know I do. When I am at the grocery store, watching TV, at the park, or anywhere unfamiliar to me, it seems I judge those I do not know. If I know them well, then I judge and criticize them. The reason a person criticizes others is due to their ego. A person’s ego has to look out for #1 and suppress everyone else.
I have learned over time to stop myself and reach out and say hello no matter what a person looks like or how they speak. Instead of judging, I have learned to offer a quick hand or ask a complete stranger how their day is. We often do not know the people next to us in our pews at Church beyond a greeting and sign of peace. They are there almost every Sunday (we don’t like to move much). We like to be comfortable.
Today, Jesus teaches us to have a big heart, be compassionate, get out of our comfort zone, take healthy risks and be kind and generous to others. We all have one Father, we all have sinned many times, be not afraid, reach out to others and be kind whether you know someone or not. You will be amazed at their response! Reaching out to someone might just convert a heart and make a believer out of them. When imitating Christ, we give hope to the hopeless!
Today’s challenge: Since Jesus forgives and does not condemn, “Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” Come to Jesus in confession again and again with full intent to not sin again. His grace and your will can conquer sin. It may take time, but never give up!
Be a servant, become a saint!

I think this Gospel is one of the most important in the whole entire Bible. I think we do what the people with stones do. We think to judge or criticize someone for committing a sin or doing something wrong. But if we think of all the sins or wrongdoings we have done we are just like that person. I think we need to worry about ourselves before we think to hurt or criticize someone when we have been doing the same things.
The Lord is so loving and merciful. Even when we fall on our faces he picks us up and sets us on the path back to Him. He desires our happiness and is not just some cruel judge up above, He is our father. Even if we’ve fallen down for the thousandth time, Jesus will still always love us and heal us.
that jesus gaave his live for us and he now at the frest time when he was time he was bore
When sinning, we are the ones condemning ourselves, not Jesus. Jesus came to save us, because He knows that when we sin, we move away from God, instead of God moving away from us. We must realize that Jesus isn’t the one condemning us, and that we are the ones bringing this upon ourselves. If we just accept that we’re all sinners, we will be able to find our way back to God.
What reached out to me was when Jesus said, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” What this means to me is that we shouldn’t judge others for their sins. We are meant to help each other reach heaven, not judge each other for what we do along our paths there.
This scripture is about when Jesus first met Mary magdalene. I think this means we should not blame someone else for sinning when we do the same thing.
Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” I love how Jesus will always forgive us, even after we sin and sin and sin. I’m so thankful that I have someone there that won’t deny me. It makes me feel better and it will help you too.
In this Gospel, Jesus tells us that we should not condemn others. He tells the pharisees to stone the woman if you have no sin and none of them threw a stone. This tells us that we are all sinners and because we are sinners, we should not condemn those around us. Jesus does not want to condemn us but instead he tells us to sin no more.
We should not judge others, we sin too. Only God should be the one to judge us. We should treat others how we want to be treated.
In today’s reading Jesus shows us that he will always believe in us even if we dont believe in ourselves. If we sin we have to repent even if we don’t think he will ever forgive us he will always forgive us. Jesus does not condemn you even if everyone else will try to.
In today’s scripture we see a woman who has sinned and is going to receive her punishment. Jesus puts a stop to it by saying, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” This part sticks out to me because, if only all the people who were stoned before could have been saved. Just because someone has sinned a small sin it doesn’t make them a horrible person. Everyone does wrong so we should not be so harsh in the punishment.
Jesus asks the Pharisees, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” After that, they all walked away one by one because they all knew they were sinners. We are all sinners too. We cannot judge others when we have also sinned. None of us are perfect. We have all sinned.
“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” This sentence really stuck out to me a lot while reading this passage. What I think its trying to tell us is that no one is any better than another. We all have sin and all have done bad things and we shouldn´t criticize others for it. Just because people believe the lie doesn´t mean it’s still ok. At one point or another in life you will realize that your sin is just as bad as everyone else sin. We are all human and we all make mistakes. So during this Lent, let us all try to be better about not judging others sin, we are all trying.
In today’s scripture Jesus told the people anybody without sin on their soul can cast the first stone then one by one they left. Jesus doesn’t want us to sin so he will try and save us from everyone the best he can. That’s why Jesus died on the cross for us.
Sin is something that we all have. There is nothing we can do to permanently get rid of our sin. We were born into the world with sin by the choices of Adam and Eve. There might not be a way to completely wipe sin out of the world, but there’s still a way for us to get to heaven. God is giving us the way to get to heaven. An opportunity to build a relationship with Him. We can clean ourselves of our sins by confessing to God in the confessional. God knows and understands that we are all sinners. It’s a beautiful and awesome thing to love God.
We judge others constantly. We may do it unknowingly, but we do it everyday. It may just be a remark in your head about the way someone looks or acts. It could be worse, such as spreading rumors about them and telling their secrets just because you don’t like them. We do this act of bringing others down because we think it builds us up. We crave attention and want more than what we have. It’s our nature. We must learn to be happy with what we have and focus, not on popularity, but on God. He is the path to salvation, we just have to take the first step down the road.
Today the Gospel talks about the woman who was caught in lust. Adultery is one of the seven deadly sins. The lord teaches me today that when we are in sin we are forgiven if we go to confession. In the story the woman would have gotten stoned but Jesus said “If you have no sin you can throw the stone.” It is powerful because it means that we will be saved.

If I know them well, then I judge and criticize them. The reason a person criticizes others is due to their ego. A person’s ego has to look out for #1 and This scripture is telling us to forgive and to not judge people as he created all of us the same and in his image and we do it for our ego.
he told them whoever has not sinned may throw the fist stone. that means that even adultery can be forgiven
in the scriptures today, the Pharisees tried to test Jesus. they wanted to stone a woman who had commited adultry. but no stone was thrown because all of them had sinned before. they had sinned and so had the woman. but God forgives us. when we go to confession, we confess our sins to God and we are forgiven. as long as we confess our sins and our mistakes and truely are sorry for them, God will forgive us.
We all sin its apart of life, but don´t take advantage of God and sin because you know hes going to forgive you sin still damages out relation ship with God one thing we all need to know is who are we to judge other peoples sins.
In this Gospel Jesus tells us he will forgive our sins and protect us from evil people. He tells us that sin is no reason to hide from the Lord because he will always forgive us.
God never leaves us or moves away from us we do our sins make us distant with him and doing the will of the Father and not sinning keeps us close and a non-damaged relationship with him.
God loves us forever. he’s loved us before earth, during, and he will love us after. God wants us to get out of our comfort zone but still stay and follow him.
Jesus tells the pharisees that the one who is without sin can throw the first stone. All of the pharisees walked away in shame. We cannot get down on other people for sinning when we sin all the time as well. When we tease or bully other people we are the pharisees attempting to stone the woman. And even though Jesus tells us to sin no more, we still sin because we are weak. God and Jesus knew about the fall of man. That’s why Jesus was sent down and He died for us. We don’t deserve His love because we were the ones who made Jesus die, we are the pharisees getting Jesus crucified every single time we sin. So we need to stop sinning. Because when we do, it will all be worth it.
A lot of us are very quick to judge someone, whether if we are watching TV or if it is in real life we need to learn how to stop this horrible habit, if we do this for a certain amount of time we start to think that we have to be just like everyone else, but we don’t God made every single one of us different for a reason and we should take that with respect.
I think that it says that we should go to see Jesus at the temple and listen to what he wants us to do for him. And that we will respond to him and do what he wants.
God is just standing there with loving arms waiting for us to go to him, but everytime we sin we are moving and backing away slowly, but as the sins get bigger the steps away from God get bigger, and if it get’s out of control we are basically running away from God. But it is never too late, God will always be standing there, and the farther away we ran, the harder it is going to be to get back to God, but the reward is eternal.
This gospel is showing us examples of other people committing sins, and is showing us what may happen: people will loose trust and relationship. Teacher, this woman was caught
in the very act of committing adultery.
Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women.
So what do you say?”
When we commit sin it is serious, and can lead to very big punishment.
I think that Jesus working in mountains means that higher than earth heaven because God is powerful. God is God he was not made he just was. God created us with love and yet sometimes we turn that love away. Why? Probably because of temptation or original sin. My favorite point made about the devil is the devil is nothing but a chained up dog. You are not alarmed by the dog unless you are around it like whenever you talk to it’s owner which is God why would you feel threatend by it because you aren’t any near it. But whenever you are within chain’s reach you sin. Whenever we do fall in the length of the chain the owner comes and saves you. God sent down Jesus to save us from the chained up dog.
he straightened up and said to them,“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Everyone left because all of them were sinners they walked away with their sins and their guilt, nobody,There has not been a single human being (Other than Mary and Jesus, etc Obviously)that hasn’t sinned at least once.
i know that he will always care for me and he knows what is right so he will do what is right and we always need to think about what is the right thing and sin no more like it is said in the Scripture think like a saint be a saint. You know what is right so do it and takes some time before you do every time all you need is to take a few more seconds and think is this the saintly choice.
“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” This reminds me of another bible quote why do you offer to take out the splinter in your brothers eye without first taking out the wooden beam in your own eye (Matt 7:3). Both say that you can’t condem others without condeming yourself. Jesus didn’t say those without sin, everyone sins. Jesus wants the one who knows he’s a sinner and repents.
Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” I love how Jesus will always forgive us, even after we sin and sin and sin. I’m so thankful that I have someone there that won’t deny me. It makes me feel better and it will help you too.
the woman cheated and her husband and was getting stone but Jesus saved her life
What God is trying to say is that sin is bigger than we think. When we sin we think it’s not a big deal, but it really is. God can do whatever he wants to do to/for us and if we want him to love us and forgive us we should listen to him and take his word seriously the next time we hear Him talking to us.
Jesus saved the woman’s life in the gospel today. If he would not have stood up for her, she would have been stoned, and killed. Although the woman did commit adultery, and by law, deserved her punishment, Jesus knew that she could fix it, and ultimately make up for her sins. So he sent her off and told her to not sin again.
I think the reading is telling us that if we sin God gives us the gift of confession to restore our relationships. If we go to confession and confess our sins God will forgive us.
Sin is tempting whether it’s a habit like you tried to pull a prank on someone or you cursed at someone or even stealing. Temptation is not good for your health or spirit with God, you must find a way to break those habits and replaced them for a good habit.
Jesus will forgive us for all the sins we have committed. No matter what. We will not be condemned by those around us, we condemn ourselves and God forgives us every time. He saves us and loves us.
i feel like this gospel was about how we are loved and how God forgives and sin is no reason to fall away from God his love never stops. Gods love for us has no end he will always be there he will always stay by your side even when everyone else does he will always be your light in the darkess times. God loves you!
What stuck out to me was when Jesus said, “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” This is telling us that we need to stop judging others for the sins they commit because we are just as sinful, Jesus told them that if they were completely clean (without sin) then they could stone this women. But they were all sinful so they just left.
In this gospel Jesus teaches us to not condemn others. He tells the pharisees to stone the woman if you have no sin, this tells me that we should not condemn others because we too are sinners.
“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” We cannot judge someone for sinning when we do it everyday.
What stuck out to me was that Today, Jesus teaches us to have a big heart, be compassionate, get out of our comfort zone, take healthy risks and be kind and generous to others. We all have one Father, we all have sinned many times, be not afraid, reach out to others and be kind whether you know someone or not. You will be amazed at their response! Reaching out to someone might just convert a heart and make a believer out of them. When imitating Christ, we give hope to the hopeless! This stuck out to me because it’s so easy to judge someone we know or don’t know. Sometimes we judge them so quick that we never even notice how good of a person they really are.
Jesus doesn’t condemn, we condemn ourselves. He didn’t come to condemn us but to save us. When we sin we move ourselves away from God. We criticize others because of our ego.
This is another example of God’s love for us. He forgave a woman who had committed adultery on her husband and He still forgave her. Jesus is so loving that Him will always forgive you of whatever you do. All He asks in return is for you to love Him back, that’s all he wants.
I think this scripture reflection is talking about how we commit sins and how God always will be there with his arms wide open for us no matter what.
In today’s Gospel God tells us not to condemn people and saves this lady’s life by saying“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”Again he bent down and wrote on the ground. And in response, they went away one by one, beginning with the elders.” by implying that they all have sinned, Jesus protected this woman from being stoned.
I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked man because we are all sinners and we need God’s love and mercy. If I know people well then I judge and label them. I have learned over time to stop and say hi to other no matter what. it could change the way they are thinking that day. Be kind and generous to others we give hope to others.
There is always a “why”; Why do we have to go to Mass? Why do we need to pray? As humans, we are pushed away from God by sin, but we can get back to Him with the Mass and prayer. We will always need His help, because He knows us better than we know ourselves and He knows what we need. As long as we listen to Jesus and follow Him, we will know what He wants us to do in this world.
No matter what sin we commit, Jesus will forgive us if we are truly sorry. God is always waiting for us to come back to him and to be forgiven of our sins because God is always in the same place and we move away from him.
None of us are without sin. We’ve all sinned, so why should we condemn other who commit the same sins? Instead, let us help eachother so that we sin no more.
I think that this is saying that even when we sin God will always forgive us. He gave us the gift of confession not only for him to forgive us, but for us to let it off our chest and forgive ourselves for what we have done.
i think this scripture is about we cannot be angry at someone if we have also done wrong. We cannot sin if we live by the idea that we can not hurt someone who has sinned if we ourselves have sinned. If we condemn someone we are condemning ourselves.
We are all sinners. No one on earth is without sin. We tell each other to do this or to do that but we don’t listen to ourselves. It’s good to give advice but it’s also good to receive advice. We judge one another but we don’t judge ourselves.
what the scripture is telling me is that jesus is willing to forgive anyone no matter the sin. jesus knew her sins and He knows ours as well and is willing to forgive us of anything. what stuck out to me was when jesus said, “Let the one among you who is without sin
be the first to throw a stone at her.” i feel like it meant that we shouldn’t call out others for their sins when we are also sinners.
In the Scripture today Jesus gets tested. They ask him what to do since the woman was caught in the act of committing adultery, they expect Him to say something they can use against Him. Jesus replies “Let the one among you who is without sin
be the first to throw a stone at her.” God forgives you no matter what. The woman was forgiven for her sin.
In the scripture today, God is telling us that He will not punish us. We are punishing ourselves by sinning. We have to recognize that we continue to punish ourselves everyday.
This scripture is telling us to always have faith in Jesus. Even when things go wrong we are taught to not give up and have faith in God.
Sin is like stones being thrown at you. The devil tries to test you and see how far you will go. And each stone hurts you more and more.
God wants us to come to him for forgiveness. i learned earlier in the week that the devil wants us to be ashamed of our sins and that we can not be cleansed of them but he is wrong. God wants us to be up front with our sins and not be ashamed to tell him what we have done because in the end he will heal us from them. turn to God for help and learn form your mistakes.
Even though sinning is not something we should be proud of, we should also not deny them. We all sin, so why shame others for doing the same? Jesus will always forgive us, no matter how bad the sin is. It doesn’t matter if other people don’t forgive you for what you did, all that matters is that God forgives you and still loves you.
We are all sinners. We all make mistakes nobody is perfect except God. One line that really stuck out to me was “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.”
Jesus said Jesus bent down and began to write on the ground with his finger. But when they continued asking him,he straightened up and said to them,“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” This means he will never leave and side and us. He made a promise that if you listen to his word and faith you will make it to heaven. He said let the one who is without sin to be the first to throw a stone at her. He was letting the first without the be the first, thats the same with now the person with no sin will be the first person to enter heaven. But the person with sin will be the first one in hell.
“Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” This stood out to me because Jesus died for us. He forgives our sins. When we go to confession He forgives are really bad sins. He will always forgive you. He will be there for you. We need to pray more often and spend time talking to God. He is going to listen and hear our prayers. He will stay by you through tough times. He died so we could be saved.
We see today in this Scripture that Jesus does forgive. Sometimes we feel people are against us like that woman was feeling or we are a part of the group shaming her. We know how it feels to be put down yet we still put others down. We should try harder to not say anything mean to others.
“Let the one among you who is without sin
be the first to throw a stone at her.”
We always seem to find the worst in people. Mabye the woman did sin, but it was not our choice to judge her, and anyone else. God is the one who should judge not us,that means we need to stop gossiping about other people, and to stop looking for the worst in everyone, open our eyes to the sins that we have, and respect every person, because they are a child of God.
I think this scripture is telling us that we can’t blame other people for sinning when we are sinners because we all have sin no matter how big it is it is still a sin and will be a sin until you go to confession.
“Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” This lady committed adultery, a sin. The people wanted to stone her for her actions, but Jesus did not let that happen. Why? Well, Jesus forgave that lady’s sins just like he forgives ours. No matter what you did, if you ask for forgiveness, He will forgive you.
“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Jesus tells the elders that they couldn’t judge someone, because all of them have sinned. We shouldn’t judge others, because we don’t know how their personal lives are. They might be struggling with something and judge them won’t help. We need to learn how to not judge.
This teaches us to not judge other for sinning. That does not mean that we should sin and that there should not be consequences for sin, but how can we judge others for sinning if we also sin? We have no right to shame someone else for a sin. Only God does, but God loves us so much that he will help us find the right path and teach us how to overcome the mistakes we had made.
“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Again he bent down and wrote on the ground. And in response, they went away one by one, beginning with the elders. So he was left alone with the woman before him. Then Jesus straightened up and said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She replied, “No one, sir.” Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” JN 8:1-11″ I feel like this part in the scripture is showing us that God will always accept and protect us. He always wants us to be safe and when we trust Him with our sins we will be left free from the devil.
The phrase in this Scripture that stuck out to me was this: “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” Here, I feel that Jesus is implying that since we also sin ourselves, that we shouldn’t try to judge others the way He will at the end of time. It also reminds me of the phrase we heard so often during target success last year, “Remove the plank from your eye before you point out the splinter in your brother’s.” We have no right to judge others, since we also make mistakes. God is the only one who can judge us.
In the scripture today it was talking about sin. Sin is something that is bad and isn’t good for us but we do it anyway and there is a way of getting rid of these sins and that is asking Jesus for forgiveness. This means going to confession. We go to get rid of our sins and take them off our heart and learn better not to do them again.
I think the Scripture is saying Jesus forgives all. Jesus had forgiven the woman who committed adultery. Even though we sin and we hurt Jesus in the process Jesus will still forgive us. Jesus forgives us because he loves us.
In this scripture it can really show how forgiving Jesus is. He simply told the women to not sin anymore. Just like that and he forgave her. This is how it is for every one of us. He loves all of us so much that he would forgive us in a heart beat.
It is saying that you shouldn’t judge others for sinning, when you sinned yourself. Jesus told the others that only the people who have not sinned can throw a rock at her, but no one did because we all have sinned before. Jesus is trying to help us become better and try not to sin as much. We need to let go of our bad habits.
We are humans, we were all born with original sin. Because of this, we must recognize that we all sin. When someone else sins, we have no right to “bring justice” onto them by bringing them harm. God will judge them himself. Instead we should focus on when we sin, and try to be a better person every time we do so.
In this scripture Jesus questions them with who among them is not a sinner, the people in the temple were all sinners and let quietly, I think that Jesus was trying to show all of us that we are different in our own ways and the same in some ways. We all have our own weaknesses and our own strengths, it is our duty to strengthen those weaknesses and keep strengthening our strengths.
“Neither do I condemn you.” Jesus does not condemn us. But if he doesn’t, who does? Us. We don’t allow ourselves or others room for mistakes. WE live in an overcritical world where it seems everyone judges you based on how you dress, look, talk, or what you believe. We must learn to be like Christ and give people a chance to learn and grow and be themselves.
This scripture is talking about how Jesus saved the women who committed adultery and the thing that really stuck out to me was “Let the one amongh you wo is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” which i think it talks about if you say something did like a snitch that it will be also causing you to sin even though you might not notice.
I think the scripture is telling us not to condemn one another unless we are perfect and sinless. Jesus did not condemn the woman who committed adultry and he himself is perfect, so we must follow in his ways. Him telling the elders and the other others that the first person without sin can throw the first stone is similar to the sense that we can not judge others because we too have committed sins of many kinds so why should we be able to judge others for the mistakes they have made? Jesus forgives us so we should forgive others.
You make your own choices no one else but you. Sometimes you might make the wrong choices and sometime the right ones. God will always be there in good or bad.
We heard today that a person without sin can throw the first stone. I don’t know about you, but I did not hear about anyone throwing the stone. We are all sinners, so why do we shun others when they do something wrong. We all have our struggles. Some people have the same struggles and others have different struggles, but that does not mean we can scorn them about what they did. Today when they were talking about stoning the women none of them threw the stone because they were all sinners. Don’t be so quick to judge because we all have our low moments.
What stuck out to me is that Jesus didn’t condemn the women instead he says go forth and sin no more. This stuck out to me because it shows that when we go to confession it’s almost like we’re condemning ourselves because after confession we’re not suppose to sin just like Jesus told the women to not sin any more after what she had said to him.
We should not blame others for what we do to
He came to save us not condemn us. Sin hurts our relationship with God.What this means from the scripture reflection is that Jesus ridicule us for are sins hes here to forgive us and to tell us to strive not to constantly do this sin because that weakens are relationship with him
“Neither do I condemn you” I think people think what is gonna happen when they tell God their sins is hes gonna condemn them but he isnt! hes just gonna keep forgiving and loving you forever.
“THEN NEITHER DO I CONDEMN YOU.” God wants us to seek Him, but oftentimes we run away from Him, sinning more or just wallowing in our sin. I think a lot that He is probably so annoyed with me, because I keep coming back to confession, it almost seems like a part of every month. Sometimes, confession seems monotonous. But God forgives us every time.
God loves each of us even if we decide not to love Him. In the reading we see a woman who was going to be stoned to death for a very serious sin. Jesus saved her and was not mad He simply told her not to sin anymore He didn’t even say something along the lines of Love God always, because God doesn’t need our love we need His.
Jesus teaches us to have a big heart, be compassionate, get out of our comfort zone, take healthy risks and be kind and generous to others. We have to be open up to others if we want to be loved by everyone and not judge anyone by what they are on the outside but by what they are in the inside. To be loved by others you have to love yourself, this phrase says it all to me how can you expect others to love you if you can’t even love yourself.
“Then Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you.” we think that when God judges us, he is very harsh about it, but we understand almost nothing of the judging process. God is the most loving being that has ever existed, he does not condemn people to hell cold-heartedly, it brings tears to his eyes when he sends someone to the devil’s lair.
“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her. This part stuck out to me because Jesus is saying that we are all sinners and we can’t punish somebody else who has sinned because we did the same thing. He knew that everybody there had sinned and so they couldn’t throw a stone at her. We all sin and none of us can judge others on their sins because we probably have done the same thing.

“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” We all sin. We are all born with original sin, and once you get that sin removed you will still continue to sin. We should not be afraid of sin, or judge someone for sinning, because we all do it. God doesn’t get mad when we sin, he will wait for you to come to him and confess. God will rejoice when we go to confession.
Jesus teaches us in the scripture, we judge people. A lot. Well, in the scripture, Jesus says:
“Let the one among you who is without sin
be the first to throw a stone at her.”
And what happens? They walk away. They all have sinned. We all have. Jesus is teaching us how to not judge people and instead connect with them in a positive way.
today scripture said to not be a hypocrite. Scripture said “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” None of us are without sin so we cannot condemn others for sinning. We should help others and we get to heaven but do not make someone feel bad because they sin, we all sin. We should focus on ourselves and getting to know God better rather than judging others for not being close to Him.
we shouldn’t judge others so quickly. We should judge ourselves first, before anyone else. You should only worry about what your doing wrong. The only person who gets to judge everyone else is Jesus that’s not your job to judge its Jesus’
“Let the one among you who is without sin
be the first to throw a stone at her.”
As Jesus said this everyone started to turn away and he asked the woman,Where are they? Has no one condemned you.
No one condemns you, you condemn yourself. You have to decide to make the right choices.
“Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.” For me, this means that we can’t judge each other for our sins because none of us are without sin. If we are so quick to judge, we should judge ourselves.
Others will always try to condemn us for our sins and faults, but they are hypocrites because they also sin. We know we can always turn to Jesus because He will never condemn us, but we must realize and accept our faults and ask God for forgiveness.
This scripture tells us not to judge others for their sins. Just as we can judge them, they can judge us.
“Neither do I condemn you. Go, and from now on do not sin any more.” Jesus would never do anything to hurt us and He will always be here for us no matter how much we sin. Jesus will always love us and He will always have answers for us.
I think the scripture is telling me that we can’t judge people. It says that we are quick to judge which is true. In the reading, they brought a woman to Jesus that commited adultry and said they were going to stone her. Jesus is the only one that can judge. He can judge because he is without sin and shame. We have sin and shame and we can’t judge each other because we do the same things as the people we judge. That’s why we shouldn’t judge anybody no matter what they do to you.
that we should never give up on God. He is always with us. no matter what.
