Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

Jesus entered a village
where a woman whose name was Martha welcomed him.
She had a sister named Mary
who sat beside the Lord at his feet listening to him speak.
Martha, burdened with much serving, came to him and said,
“Lord, do you not care
that my sister has left me by myself to do the serving?
Tell her to help me.”
The Lord said to her in reply,
“Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing.
Mary has chosen the better part
and it will not be taken from her.”  LK 10:38-42

We live in a busy world which causes anxiety and worry. The media increases everyone’s anxiety and worry by putting death and murder on constantly or continual criticism of someone and we only get a certain part of the story.  This leads us to live lives where we are afraid to let our kids play outside, we are afraid of a certain race, and constant criticism of the problems in our country.  There is only one Truth, Jesus Christ.  We must be like Mary and sit at the feet of Jesus and listen.  When we are the busiest, it is the time to make time for prayer and being with the Lord.  Jesus will put things into perspective for you and you will be able to survive the busiest, most hectic, days of your life.

Today’s challenge: Make time to spend with the Lord, it will be the best decision you will ever make.

Be a servant, become a saint!
