Prayer Prompt before reading MK 4:1-20: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray well, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father is and who God the Son is so that I may know who I am.
“THE MYSTERY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD HAS BEEN GRANTED TO YOU.” MK 4:1-20
Humbly submit your will to God (thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus reveals to us today that His mission is to sow the Word and reveal to us salvation, or how to get back to the Father in heaven (Become a saint!). The Word is living and effective. We can approach the same Scripture and it can speak to us something different due to the circumstances in our life.
God’s Word changes reality at Mass. God’s Word does something in our lives when we listen and accept it. The Word will never pass away. Our hearts are the soil. How we respond to the Word determines the outcome of our soul for eternity. Open your heart and let God in, the rewards are eternal!
Today’s challenge: Read the Word daily, respond through action (love), receive joy in eternal life.
Be a servant, become a saint!
