Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

Some in the crowd who heard these words of Jesus said,
“This is truly the Prophet.”
Others said, “This is the Christ.”
But others said, “The Christ will not come from Galilee, will he?
Does not Scripture say that the Christ will be of David’s family
and come from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?”
So a division occurred in the crowd because of him.
Some of them even wanted to arrest him,
but no one laid hands on him.

So the guards went to the chief priests and Pharisees,
who asked them, “Why did you not bring him?”
The guards answered, “Never before has anyone spoken like this man.”
So the Pharisees answered them, “Have you also been deceived?
Have any of the authorities or the Pharisees believed in him?
But this crowd, which does not know the law, is accursed.”
Nicodemus, one of their members who had come to him earlier, said to them,
“Does our law condemn a man before it first hears him
and finds out what he is doing?”
They answered and said to him,
“You are not from Galilee also, are you?
Look and see that no prophet arises from Galilee.” JN 7:40-53

Jesus is speaking words that can get Him arrested and later killed by the Jews.  Therefore, we know that Jesus was claiming to be God (He said so yesterday in the Gospel :)).  This is insane.  This is radical.  Unless Jesus is God.  Then, the Incarnation did take place and God pure Spirit became Man and walked the earth revealing to us the plan of salvation from the Father so we could back to Him (The will of the Father is that each person He creates gets back to Him in heaven-Pope Francis, General Audience on the “Lord’s Prayer”).  The Creed we state at our Baptism and every Sunday since 325AD is what Jesus revealed.  Today, people are still arguing about whether Jesus really is who He says He is and 1.2 billion people believe Him.  Thousands have died for Him as a witness/martyr.  There has never been a human being that has been talked about more than Jesus because of His radical claims.  Jesus did not go halfway in or half-hearted to die in your place for your sins.  May we not live a half-hearted life only living or believing in part of the Creed and giving only a little effort to fight Satan and strive for holiness. This is the call Jesus came to teach us from the Father.  We are called to live out our Baptismal promises and become saints.  Stop trying to do it all on your own.  Allow Jesus to come into your life totally and completely and His grace will take you where you want to go.  Most importantly, if Jesus Christ stood among us today and claimed to be God, there is still something missing.  You have to BELIEVE HIM!

Today’s challenge: No person has ever spoken with authority like Jesus.  Ask Him to help you understand His message, ask the Holy Spirit to increase wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of the Scriptures.  Then BELIEVE and radical changes will take place in your life.  Scary right, it’s what you are made for!

Be a servant, Become a saint!
