Humbly submit your will to God and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Jesus’ father and mother were amazed at what was said about him;
and Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother,
“Behold, this child is destined
for the fall and rise of many in Israel,
and to be a sign that will be contradicted
and you yourself a sword will pierce
so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.” Lk 2:33-35

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother
and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas,
and Mary Magdalene.
When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved
he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.”
Then he said to the disciple,
“Behold, your mother.”
And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. Jn 19:25-27

Yesterday, we celebrated the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows.  The most difficult cross to bear (I have heard and not experienced) is a parent who loses a son or daughter before they enter eternal life themselves.  Mary experienced this great tragedy.  We sometimes think since she is sinless, she did not have a hard life or suffer.  Today, we are reminded that she experienced sorrow harder than any of us.  The 7 sorrows she experienced are: 1. The Presentation in the Temple, 2. The Flight into Egypt, 3. The Loss of Jesus for 3 days, 4. The Way to Calvary, 5. The Crucifixion, 6. The Descent from the Cross, 7. The Burial of Jesus.
I have included a link to joint your sorrows with Mary anytime you feel your cross is too heavy to bear in this life.  God knows are hearts and our suffering and gave us perfect models Jesus and Mary.  Don’t suffer alone and remember this may be the way you may be called to perfection by God like His Son Jesus.  If you become a saint, the rewards of suffering are eternal!
