Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

While Jesus was speaking,
a woman from the crowd called out and said to him,
“Blessed is the womb that carried you
and the breasts at which you nursed.”
He replied, “Rather, blessed are those
who hear the word of God and observe it.” Lk 11:27-28

Where do we gain the knowledge we need to know God?  “Rather, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it.”  Our Bible that needs to be dusted off needs to be opened up and read and reflected upon in prayer.  Of course, today you can just download a Catholic bible app. Our calling is to be clothed in Christ, but are we living clothed in Christ? Our two baptismal vows are to fight Satan and believe in our Creed which is the Gospel on one page. This in turn helps us to grow in holiness. When we come to know who Christ is, we come to know ourselves and our mission.

Today’s challenge:  Read a section of the Gospel each day or out of the YouCat (YouthCatechism).  Don’t have one! Christmas is right around the corner, it makes sense to ask for a Christian item for Christmas.

Be a servant, become a saint!
