“SO FROM THAT DAY ON THEY PLANNED TO KILL HIM.” JN 11:45-56

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Today, after raising Lazarus from the dead, Jesus is being plotted against by some of the Pharisees and high priests of the Sanhedrin. The Sanhedrin is the highest Jewish court and it had the power to put people to death. Jesus has openly proclaimed that He is God in the last 3 days. This is blasphemy or Truth.

Jesus is either God or a raging lunatic, but don’t forget all of the evidence and prophecies this God Man has fulfilled already. We don’t have a blind faith, we have a faith that is based on a historical and traditional past, an entire religion of Judaism who kept great records and documentation of the Torah, the Law of Moses, the Temple, and the Passover.

We are called to make a decision after wrestling with God on life’s most important decisions, beliefs, and questions. Have you begun to seek the true meaning of life, reality, what is, the Truth of who made you and why you exist? If not, a lot of other people have. Take time to read about it and listen to what God tells you. He knows what He is talking about and He knows who you are better than anyone else.

It is important to understand who God is, what His plan of salvation requires and what He gives us to get back to Him. This is where our lives are given a purpose and mission. God gives us faith, not scientific evidence (although the latest evidence on the Shroud of Turin and the scientific evidence of Eucharistic miracles are some strong evidence!)

In light of all of the news on the Internet and news services across the country and the world back during the pandemic, what research and facts are true and which ones are false? Everyone has an opinion, but there is only one Truth, one reality, one God and Father of us all. What was God trying to reveal to us during the pandemic?

What is interesting to me is when I don’t get what I want who do I blame? Myself or others. After watching the news and reading statistics about the virus, did we blame and criticize or did we get to work on finding a way to help. Jesus reveals the Father’s heart today. He stands firm with love, forgiveness, and on the side of the victim. He is a team player. One God, Father of the entire human race, a family, chosen.

We are here to do what is best for the common good of all. This is a difficult task, we need God’s grace to dwell among us and help us. Jesus has nothing to do with those who plot and blame or even put to death those who create conflict in their lives. Don’t get me wrong if a person is putting other lives at risk, justice must be served.

Jesus is innocent, but causes division. There is only one Truth, one God. We have to choose Jesus or what we want (sin). We have to live secure in the love of the Father who is fiercely chasing after us, giving us the Son, guiding us with the Holy Spirit so that we can return to Him and be with Him forever in his glory!

Start to get to know God so you can begin to trust in his Words. It is in Him, that you have a purpose and mission, why you exist. Take some time in silence today to think about how you handle conflict and people that create conflict in your life. God the Father gives us some great advice today, listen to Him.

Today’s challenge: Begin the faith journey that begins on that road to Calvary we all have to walk and answer to the Man who is hanging on that cross. Jesus forces us to make a decision every day, Jesus or do whatever I want, invite Jesus into your struggle with sin and suffering.

Be a servant, be a saint today!

“Let her keep this for the day of my burial.” We are so quick to blame others, Judas blames Mary for not selling the oil and giving it to the poor, but he hasn’t done anything of that sense. We need to stop blaming others because we do the same thing. Instead of being mad, or blaming someone, be forgiving and work past it.
