Humbly submit your will to God (thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
On another occasion, Jesus began to teach by the sea.
A very large crowd gathered around him
so that he got into a boat on the sea and sat down.
And the whole crowd was beside the sea on land.
And he taught them at length in parables,
and in the course of his instruction he said to them,
“Hear this! A sower went out to sow.
And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path,
and the birds came and ate it up.
Other seed fell on rocky ground where it had little soil.
It sprang up at once because the soil was not deep.
And when the sun rose, it was scorched and it withered for lack of roots.
Some seed fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked it
and it produced no grain.
And some seed fell on rich soil and produced fruit.
It came up and grew and yielded thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.”
He added, “Whoever has ears to hear ought to hear.”
And when he was alone,
those present along with the Twelve
questioned him about the parables.
He answered them,
“The mystery of the Kingdom of God has been granted to you.
But to those outside everything comes in parables, so that
they may look and see but not perceive,
and hear and listen but not understand,
in order that they may not be converted and be forgiven.”
Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this parable?
Then how will you understand any of the parables?
The sower sows the word.
These are the ones on the path where the word is sown.
As soon as they hear, Satan comes at once
and takes away the word sown in them.
And these are the ones sown on rocky ground who,
when they hear the word, receive it at once with joy.
But they have no roots; they last only for a time.
Then when tribulation or persecution comes because of the word,
they quickly fall away.
Those sown among thorns are another sort.
They are the people who hear the word,
but worldly anxiety, the lure of riches,
and the craving for other things intrude and choke the word,
and it bears no fruit.
But those sown on rich soil are the ones who hear the word and accept it
and bear fruit thirty and sixty and a hundredfold.” Mk 4:1-20
Jesus reveals to us today that His mission is to sow the Word and reveal to us salvation, or how to get back to the Father in heaven (Become a saint!). The Word is living and effective. We can approach the same Scripture and it can speak to us something different due to the circumstances in our life. God’s Word changes reality at Mass. God’s Word does something in our lives when we listen and accept it. The Word will never pass away. We are the soil. How we respond to the Word determines the outcome of our soul for eternity. Open your heart and let God in, the rewards are eternal!
Today’s challenge: Read the Word daily, respond through action (love), receive joy in eternal life.
Be a servant become a saint!

We need to follow God’s plan and stay on the path of God with rich soil so we can truly want to go to heaven.
In today scripture reflection Jesus reveals to us his amazing powers and what he can do. I can use this in my life by never becoming a doubting Thomas. I will always believe that Jesus if all truth and no lie.
Jesus and God will always attract a big crowd Because they teach the truth.
We are the seed and Jesus is the rich soil. When we follow God we yield some much fruit to show to other people.
I can apply this to my life by remembering that I am not alone. God is here with me through everything I do. God is the light of my life. I need to stay away from temptation and not fall in the hands of the devil.
I can apply this to my life by that God is like the sower and we are the seeds and that nothing could happen without God.
We have to truly understand the Word. If we only accept it without understanding it, we will forget it without acting on it. If we truly understand, we can remember it and use it all throughout our lives.
In this scripture the seeds that hit roads or thorns symbolism people fall into the hands of the devil. But the seeds that hit rich soil grew and produced fruit symbolism people turning to God and following him into heaven.
God is showing the world His love through the mass. I can pray to be closer to Him and ask for the Holy Spirit to guide me.
I can apply this to my daily life by repenting. I can repent by pray and being in God presents more.
In today’s scripture Jesus is calling us to preach his word wherever we can.
Jesus knows what to do and to understand God and what he wants us to do. to ask if we understand it and to show other people how to
live through him. and to do what he says everyday.
I can reflect on this scripture by is live my life by God’s Word
