“YOU SAY I AM A KING. FOR THIS I WAS BORN AND FOR THIS I CAME INTO THE WORLD,TO TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH.” JN 18:33-37

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Prayer Prompt before reading JN 18:33-37: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father and God the Son are so that I may know who I am.

Pilate represents the Roman government.  The most powerful ruler and army of its time. The emperors were worshiped and called ‘lord’ and ‘god’.  God sent His only Son into the world during this time to wake the world up to the King of the Universe, Jesus Christ. The true Lord and God.  The Savior of all humanity, pinned to a cross with open arms, head bent to kiss us, and with the words, “I thirst”.  He thirsts for our souls.  Seek out the true King in your life, the Way, the Truth, the Life.  Then, you will be fulfilled and full of joy.

There are only 3 points of view. My opinion based on my knowledge, upbringing, and experiences, your opinion based on your knowledge, upbringing, and experiences, and God’s Truth. God’s Truth is reality, what is. God is the most powerful in the universe but he doesn’t use his power to gain more power or hold it over anyone’s head. He doesn’t need more power. He doesn’t need anything. God is love straight through and he uses his power to love.

This love transforms the hearts and minds of anyone who is willing to listen and live differently. Humanity has inherited a loss of holiness or relationship with the Father due to the Fall. Humanity has to fight a powerful Angel in temptations and to use Christ’s Truths to lift the veil that is over eyes from the great deceiver. Finally, we live in a culture that is caught up in pleasure, power, honor, and wealth.

These things are glorified instead of God. In the end, they lead to emptiness instead of joy. So, humanity has a choice. My opinion, your opinion, or live together in peace striving to live God’s Truth and be at peace/holy.

Today’s challenge: Seek the Truth. Make Christ the King of your heart, your universe. Block out the noise of social media and human opinion. God gave you the ability to choose. He just loves you, forgives you, has mercy on you, and waits for you with open arms. Choose wisely!

Be a servant, be a saint today!
