Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

After making the crossing to the other side of the sea,
Jesus and his disciples came to land at Gennesaret
and tied up there.
As they were leaving the boat, people immediately recognized him.
They scurried about the surrounding country
and began to bring in the sick on mats
to wherever they heard he was.
Whatever villages or towns or countryside he entered,
they laid the sick in the marketplaces
and begged him that they might touch only the tassel on his cloak;
and as many as touched it were healed.  Mk 6:53-56

Where do you recognize Jesus in your life and where do you not recognize Him?  We are healed by Him every time we receive the Eucharist for our venial sins are taken away and we come together to witness His sacrifice on the altar.  Jesus heals of sin but also increases virtue in us especially recognizing Him in others.  Jesus builds every community that comes together to worship and receive Him.  A community which strives to be holy and become servants for others especially the sick, dying, and those on the fringes of society.  We first learn to give and receive in our homes in a family.  We first learn eat together and give thanks.  We build relationships, learn to obey, and serve by entering each room and asking how we can help.  Jesus is still working through people today to heal and provide miracles where needed.  We must be looking with God’s eyes instead of our human eyes or else we will miss Him.  He is working in our parents, our friends, our spouses, and co-workers to bring about “thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”.  We don’t have to touch the tassel of His cloak, we have God Himself in the Eucharist to give us the grace we need to be holy, healed, and share this love with others.

Today’s challenge: Take a break and sit in silence for 2 minutes to recognize Jesus in your life and how He is working through you and others to bring about the glory of God on earth as it is in heaven.  Believe, trust, have faith, and you will begin to see Him at work today just like He was 2,000 years ago.

Be a servant, become a saint!
