Prayer Prompt before reading LK 7:36-50 Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray well, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father is and God the Son so that I may know who I am.
“BUT THE ONE TO WHOM LITTLE IS FORGIVEN, LOVES LITTLE.” LK 7:36-50
Humbly submit your will to God (thy will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus teaches us today without love and mercy, one will not enter heaven. These two actions are intertwined so completely that they make up the fiber of God’s nature. God did not need to create us, He is God. He needs nothing. He is complete in Himself and we can not add anything to Him. He is made up of love and wanted to share it.
We are the creation that is a result of this overflowing love. We are made in God’s image and likeness along with our parents, who loved each other so much that they decided to give one another themselves ready to sacrifice for the other in the vocation of marriage.
I suck at forgiving. I am stubborn and hard-headed. I think I am always right! Thank God he gave me a big heart and is good at slapping humility on me often. The woman bathed Jesus’ feet with tears. When is the last time you cried in the confessional? Me either.
Every sin hurts our relationship with God and will have to be repaid. We must truly be sorry and continue to work on our limitations and sinful habits. St. Teresa of Avila said, “Don’t allow your sins to become bad habits!” This is the journey to sainthood!
Jesus came to die for our sins. This was His mission and purpose. He has become the bridge that healed the chasm between God and His people after the Fall. Give Jesus your sin, invite Him into your sin, allow Him to continually redeem you at Mass and in the confessional. When we don’t give Jesus our sin, we lose the power of the cross!
When is the last time God didn’t forgive you when you asked Him to? Why do we judge, talk about others, be mean, and live selfishly? We are all in the same boat and have faults. Begin healing your relationships with forgiveness, embrace someone today like Jesus does for you in the confessional each time you have the courage to come back and face your sins.
At that moment, we begin to understand true love and boy does it feel good, even overwhelming at times. Thank you God, send us your grace so we may reflect you better. Amen!
Today’s challenge: Forgive, feel the burden released, and experience love and joy. Tears will flow!

You are my God, and I give thanks to you O my God, I extol you. At that moment, we begin to understand true love and boy does it feel good, even overwhelming at times.
This is what stuck out to me in the gospel today.
For I am the least of the Apostles,
not fit to be called an Apostle,
because I persecuted the Church of God.

“The one, I suppose, whose larger debt was forgiven.” No matter how big your debt is you will be loved and forgiven by Jesus.

Something that stuck to me in the gospel today was When I entered your house, you did not give me water for my feet,
but she has bathed them with her tears. What this means to me is that even though we may be close to Jesus, even one of his disciples we still need to sacrifice our dignity and our life and give it to him. We may be close to him, but we still need to give ourselves to him.
The line that sticks out to me is “So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven.” This line sticks out because it means to me that no matter who you are or what you did God will always forgive you and give you a chance to honor him and praise him again and again. Also something God is saying to me is never forget who your one true God is.
I feel like Jesus is healing but people dougt him but he is truly healing the woman. This reminds me of confession.
What stuck out to me is God did not need to create us. He is complete to himself and we can not add anything to him. He is made up of love and wanted to share it. This means whenever you are doing something you shouldn’t you need to tell yourself that god created and gave his love to us.
Something that stuck out to me was when Jesus said may her sins be forgiven and go in peace! these stuck out to me because I like to have the mindset that Jesus loves me no matter what and he will forgive me. Now I don’t just go around sinning and expecting forgiveness, I need to ask God politely.
So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; hence, she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.”
Jesus is saying here that even though the woman has sinned and done wrong, he still loves her and her sins are forgiven. I feel this applies to everyone, so no matter what you have done, if you ask for forgiveness, he will forgive you. But I also feel that this gospel is saying that you have to ask for forgiveness, because the Pharisee did nothing, and Jesus ended up forgiving the woman who had sinned who had asked for forgiveness.
This is what stuck with me “Who is this who even forgives sins?” It stuck because thinking about it most people didn’t know who Jesus was. I think that it’s sad knowing that many people didn’t know because he’s such a great person the greatest person.

One thing that stood out to me was “he forgave them both”. I believe that this shows God’s love for all and the fact that he will not ever love someone more or less than the other.
One thing that stuck with me was “when I entered your house, you did not give me water for my feet,
but she has bathed them with her tears”. It stuck with me because she gave all she could for Jesus.
For I am the least of the Apostles,

This stuck out to me because it just kept replaying while I kept reading it felt like Jesus wanted me to pick that.
I am reminding my brothers and sisters of the gospel I preach to you which you did receive. this stuck with me because my sister has had every sacrament and she goes to church
You need to focus on loving others, showing humility, and following the teachings of Jesus. By the grace of God I am what I am
and his grace to me has not been ineffective. This is something at stuck cause its the truth but that is just the basics of it. Its just the life of it
The verse that stuck out to me was this: “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” It reminds me that trusting God and his plan for you will lead to great things. Because she had faith and washed his feet, she was forgiven. This helps me to trust in God no matter what!

He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”
This really struck to me because the sinful woman cleaned Jesus feet with her tears and dried them with her hair. And he said that all her sins are forgiven because she showed an act of kindness.
Today what stuck with me was when Jesus said “Your faith has saved you, go in peace.” I think God is trying to tell me that if I have faith and am kind and forgiving I will have a peaceful life and will eventually get to heaven.
In today’s gospels the thing that stuck out to me the most is “But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.” also in the gospel the reason why Jesus forgave the woman for her sins is because of her Faith. The men only had riches and no faith but the women had faith so Jesus forgave her.
The thing that stuck out to me the most was when Jesus said, “So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven;
hence, she has shown great love. But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.” This stuck out to me the most because Jesus says that the people how have little sins tend to love little, I think?
What i took form today’s Gospel was to never judge someone when you aren’t perfect yourself. I am not going to judge anyone because I am not perfect either.
What stuck out to me was ” Your faith has saved you; go in peace”. It stuck out to me because I started to pray more and read the Bible every day so I feel like my faith has saved me. I also like this saying because I feel like it will get me more closer to God.
Something that stuck out to me in the Dailey gospal was when Teresa of Avila said, “Don’t allow your sins to become bad habits!” This is the journey to sainthood! I think this means that we should not let satan get the better of us and also not let him take over. She also says that this is the journey to sainthood I think that means that if we do that then that is what will lead us to sainthood.
“But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little.” This spoke to me, because we can find this so much in our daily lives. Humanity is a cruel, cruel thing.
What stuck out to me was this at the end of the gospel “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” I think it stuck out on me because if you just have faith it can save or change your life forever. Also, it makes me think of the words in confession especially at the end where he releases you.
But by the grace of God I am what I am stood out to me. it stood out to me because even if you don’t believe in God he believes in you.
This passage talks about forgive Jesus forgive all of are sin and died on the cross to free all of us.
Today’s gospel tells us about how if we don’t have love or mercy we will not enter heaven. We are a creation that is a result of overflowing love. Jesus’s mission was to come down and die for our sins so we can live happily.
“Your sins are forgiven.”
The others at table said to themselves,
“Who is this who even forgives sins?” I think this verse is saying Jesus told the woman that her sins are forgiven but the other people didn’t know he was talking to her and didn’t know who he was talking to.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus talks about 2 people, who both owe wages. 1 person owes more than the other person, but if they have both been forgiven, the one who owes more will treat the forgiver with great kindness and greet them with care. We should forgive others Like Jesus, and greet others with great care, so that our hearts and souls may be fulfilled.
In this passage it says how Jesus forgives everything. And how hard it is for us to forgive. Jesus forgive all of are sin that he even died on the cross for us.
In today’s gospel the woman had sinned many times. Simon told Jesus that he should not be around such a sinful woman and Jesus tells him that “this woman had anointed my feet with oil and washed them with her hair and you have done nothing,” Jesus forgives the woman for her sins because of her clear love for Christ. This can so happen to us through confession if we are truly sorry for what we hand done and strive to be better.
What stood out to me was this “So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; hence, she has shown great love.” I think it stood out to me because it is saying the more you give (in this instance being kind) the more you receive (such as Gods blessing).
i think Jesus is tring to tell us we should be grateful nomater the debt forgiven.
God always forgives, so we should forgive others as well. There’s no point in focusing on all the flaws of others. God doesn’t care about the flaws. He loves us and wants us to turn to him no matter how flawed we are.
If we show love and have faith in God, we can be forgiven. The woman showed love and washed his feet with her tears, dried them with her hair, and kissed and applied ointment. Because of this and her faith, her many sins were forgiven.
Jesus forgave a woman who was a very big sinner. She did some crazy things for Jesus to forgive her. She did not beg or yell she just showed Him that she loves Him no matter what. She showed us that sometimes actions speak louder than words. Jesus isnt saying for us to do what she did but He is saying for us to ask Him for forgiveness.
“Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” We are saved by our faith alone and by that faith we discover true peace.
The thing that clearly stuck out to me is love and repentance. She was overcome with grief because she had sinned against God and gone away from what his will. She repented and as the parable explains, she experiences love and realizes what she owes back to God. She realized what she owes so she went directly to Jesus, knowing he was the living God she washed his feet with tears and dried them with her hair. We need to realize what we owe to Jesus, and so then repent and do him homage.
“I suck at forgiving. I am stubborn and hard-headed. I think I am always right! Thank God he gave me a big heart and is good at slapping humility on me often.” This stuck out to me the most because we need humility. We need to know the reality of how we react and of our actions. Humility is such a good thing that we have.
Our human nature causes us to only love people that have given us something, and we often can’t love truly unconditionally. Jesus points out to the pharisee that Jesus had hardly given him anything, so the pharisee did not love him; however, the woman had been given much by Jesus, so she loved him a lot.
you can always go back to God even when you sin even very badly and dont listen about the negitive of people and and folow your heart to the father she washed his feat with her own tears we should weep about our sin and give them to him follow what is good and be the LIGHT OF THE WORLD!!!

Give Jesus your sin, invite Him into your sin, allow Him to continually redeem you at Mass and in the confessional. Jesus became our bridge to lead us and help us get to heaven after Adam and Eve fall. You need to invite Jesus to help you with your sin so you can stop and make it to heaven.
Jesus has forgiven people so much. When a sinful women came in yuo have to judge them rightley. Like if you come into school do not judge because that is like being mean and judging bad.
what i got from today’s gospel was that it dosent matter how many sins you have committed Jesus will never stop forgiving you. he loves you and like the women was washing his feet (confession and maybe penanace) he forgives her for her sins because she was sorry of them and she gave it to jesus and repented
“BUT THE ONE TO WHOM LITTLE IS FORGIVEN, LOVES LITTLE.” This means to me that the people who doesnt forgive easily doesnt love as much.
The woman bathes Jesus’s feet with her tears and dries them with her hair. She shows humility and repentance. This is how we should approach Jesus, with great reverence and repentance. We should be at his feet. Then Simon asks Jesus why he is allowing such a woman to touch him, Jesus says in response that those who are forgiving of great sins love greatly. This woman showed more love and humility than Simon, a Pharisee.
I believe what this gospel is trying to say to me is that no matter how badly you have sinned God will always love you the same. Its something my mother used to say to me. she said ” Even if you end up in prison as a gangster. I will not love you anyless”.
This Gospel always used to make no sense to me when i was younger but hearing it now i understand it. What stuck out to me was how simply the parable and they actual scene intertwined and made sense.
God teaches us to always treat others right and not bad and judge people. Simon judges the lady even though she treated Jesus’ feet and Simon didn’t. Therefore you should not judge a book by it’s cover even if they don’t look good or they treat people bad.
No matter how much we sin we can still be forgiven. The more love you give to Jesus the more he will forgive you. His love for us is never ending so we should have never ending love for him.
But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little. Those who think they are righteous”love little” fail to experience deep grace because they refuse to admit they are deeply in need. I feel great love is the natural response to receiving profound love.
In today’s gospel the woman who cleaned Jesus’s feet I feel like that is some of us with a large burden or a heavy sin on our shoulders, but Peter is the ones who have less burden and not so heavy sin on their shoulder. but either way Jesus still loves us no matter the sin, he can still forgive us over and over again. that is true love that only Jesus can give nobody else can love like that.
In today;s Gospel when Jesus is talking to Simon and says “Simon, I have something to say to you.” not I have something to teach you but something to say. Simon says yes and listens to Jesus and answers his questions but does not question Jesus any more. Our father God is always willing to teach us if we are willing to listen and be willing to learn if we are not one of those things we can’t learn anything the easy way and will problay keep making the same mistakes over and over and again.
It says that “So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven;
hence, she has shown great love.” I think that means that even though your sin can be large as long as you long Jesus with all of your heart and soul he will give you everything you need to get to heaven. That’s what stood out to me.
“Two people were in debt to a certain creditor;one owed five hundred days’ wages and the other owed fifty.Since they were unable to repay the debt, he forgave it for both.Which of them will love him more” this really suck out to me because god will repay our sins no matter how big the sin is.
What stuck with me was,”your faith has saved you; go in peace.” I think this is because when we go to Jesus with our sins, love and have great faith, we are saved from sin.
Something that stuck out to me was when Jesus said, “Two people were in debt to a certain creditor;
one owed five hundred days’ wages and the other owed fifty.
Since they were unable to repay the debt, he forgave it for both.
Which of them will love him more?” And Peter answered, the one whose debt was greater. I know that Jesus was saying that He forgave the woman of her sins, and that her sins were greater than the Pharisee, but it didn’t make sense that it was implying that the Pharisee didn’t love Jesus more than the woman.
Something that stuck with me was this phrase and it went “Your faith has saved you go in peace ” it stuck with me because every Sunday we have the chance to go to confession and get our sins forgiven.
Something that stuck to me was So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven hence she has shown great love.But the one to whom little is forgiven loves little.He said to her your sins are forgiven.”I think this means that if you don´t forgive you don´t love because loving is forgiving and Jesus shows us that in this gospel.
Something that stuck out to me was “But the one to whom little is forgiven, loves little”. I think it’s God telling me that people who are mean do it because not many people love and forgive them.
I read this and at the end was what hit me hard in a way people don´t forget. I read your faith has saved you go in peace and I thought about how we always say go in peace in mass and that woman probably had about the same response as we say in mass.
what stuck out to me most is your faith has been saved you go in peace cause after you go to confection your sins are saved. God can forgive anyone for anything they did.
The Gospel today showed me that if you sin many times God will still forgive you and he will still love you.
I think what stood out to me was when the Gospel said ” So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven; hence, she has shown great love΅.” I think the Gospel is telling me to love everyone and show everyone love.
The thing that stuck out to me the most was when Jesus said to simion¨ When i enetered into your house you didnt washed my feet but the women wash my feet with her tears . U didnt give me a kiss but she kissed my feet. Yo u didnt oint ment my feet but she did . she dried my feet with her hair¨ it sticks out to me because sinner will do these things but they go to confession like the women thats why he said your faith has saved you.
The words that really stuck out to me the most were “not fit to be an apostle” and “the grace of God” because even though some people think that God will not love them anymore he will still accept you
The part in today’s gospel that stuck out to me was “So I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven;
hence, she has shown great love.” I feel like what that’s try to convey is, you’ve committed sins, yes, everyone has but if you turn to Jesus repent, pray, and build a relationship with him then you will be forgiven.
no matter how much you sinned God will always forgive you and love you and the women loved Jesus more than Simon did

You did not give me a kiss,
but she has not ceased kissing my feet since the time I entered.
You did not anoint my head with oil,
but she anointed my feet with ointment. ”
What she did helps me to think kinder and be nicer to people.
Something that stuck with me is “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.” because if you have faith in God, God will guide you, protect you and help you be the best version of yourself even if you are going through the toughest moments of your life.
In the gospel it says “your faith has saved you, go in peace” Our faith is so powerful and saves us from sin and negative things in our life. Our faith is beautiful, strong, and united! Love God believe and you will have peace always with you. Even through rough times.
Jesus says even if the person who does the work of God and is a follower of God but not a follower of me is still a follower of me.
What he means is he is God and is a person is doing Gods will they are doing his will
