Humbly submit your will to God (thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Jesus said to the crowds:
“To what shall I compare this generation?
It is like children who sit in marketplaces and call to one another,
‘We played the flute for you, but you did not dance,
we sang a dirge but you did not mourn.’
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they said,
‘He is possessed by a demon.’
The Son of Man came eating and drinking and they said,
‘Look, he is a glutton and a drunkard,
a friend of tax collectors and sinners.’
But wisdom is vindicated by her works.” MT 11:16-19

Who do you trust?  What do you believe?  If the answer is nothing or nobody, then you will float with the wind.  You will chase fads and get caught up in the world, which will end in misery, heartache, and loneliness. Jesus is again trying to teach that he is the Messiah and John the Baptist had one purpose, to usher Christ into the world so all would know to repent and be baptized.  First, we must admit and recognize we are sinners and need a Savior.  Second, we must believe with are whole being in something.  ”But wisdom is vindicated by her works.”  Modern Catholic Dictionary defines wisdom as the intellectual virtue concerning the first or highest causes of all things. It is also the actual possession of such knowledge. Do you believe in the works of John the Baptist and Jesus?  In the Catholic faith, God is the first or highest causes of all things.  Jesus comes to reveal this to us and the Bible gives us possession of such knowledge.  Drink deeply from the Bible, reflect on it, and apply it to your life.  We have the answers, but do you believe it.  To what would Jesus compare this generation today in your home, in your school or business, in your parish, or community?  Whatever change you think He would want to see, become wise by reading His message, believe, then live and share it so He would see great faith.

Today’s challenge: Believe.  Trust.  Hope in Jesus Christ and His resurrection.

We are saints in training.  Become a saint!
