Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Jesus said, “What is the Kingdom of God like?
To what can I compare it?
It is like a mustard seed that a man took and planted in the garden. When it was fully grown, it became a large bush
and the birds of the sky dwelt in its branches.

Again he said, “To what shall I compare the Kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman took
and mixed in with three measures of wheat flour
until the whole batch of dough was leavened.” Lk 13:18-21

Jesus teaches us that the Kingdom of God has small and humble beginnings through His ministry and preaching of the revealed Truths.  The 12 Apostles after receiving the Holy Spirit at Pentecost will preach to their deaths as red martyrs except Judas the betrayer and John who legend states could not be killed so they sent him off to an island, so he dies as a white martyr.  The Catholic Church is fully established when the blood and water flow from Christ’s side to give life to the Church.  It has grown into a world religion of 1.2 billion Roman Catholics.  40% of that number is from Latin America the biggest percentage with Europe in second.  Africa has the fastest growing Catholic population and the Vatican states that Catholic baptisms are on the rise.

Most importantly, now that Jesus has left to sit at the right hand of the Father, He has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us.  The Holy Spirit guides the Church and us individually.  Are you asking for the Holy Spirit’s guidance?  We are all baptized in the waters of the saints, called to be saints through our baptism.  We are called to die to self and put on Christ each day fighting Satan and growing in holiness.  What a difficult task?  With God’s grace and the gift of faith He has given us to have the intention to fight for holiness it is possible.  I am a great sinner.  I am broken. I need a Savior. I am trying to be a good father, husband, and teacher of Catholic doctrine to help increase the number of Christians where God put me so that the kingdom of God may increase.  Fight the good fight wherever God has put you to increase His Kingdom, it is what you were made for!

Today’s challenge: Who are you?  What were you made for?  Where are you going?  Most importantly, what does God want for you?  He made you for this time and this place to build up the Kingdom.

Be a servant, become a saint!
