Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Now I am going to the one who sent me,
and not one of you asks me, ‘Where are you going?’
But because I told you this, grief has filled your hearts.
But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go.
For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you.
But if I go, I will send him to you.
And when he comes he will convict the world
in regard to sin and righteousness and condemnation:
sin, because they do not believe in me;
righteousness, because I am going to the Father
and you will no longer see me;
condemnation, because the ruler of this world has been condemned.” Jn 16:5-11

Jesus leaves us with the Holy Spirit. He even says it is better if He goes and leaves us the Holy Spirit. How can we have something better than Jesus?

This is revolutionary! God is the most intelligent. He does not make mistakes and today’s words from Jesus are profound. ”But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go.” Why? Jesus is outside of us, Jesus breathes the Holy Spirit inside of us. We often look for God in so many places when He is right inside of you. This should change the way you pray, the way you act, the way you understand how we are saved. Prayer should be in silence; God is found in a still small voice.

“Be still and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10

Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you each day increasing the gifts and fruits of the Spirit inside you that you received at Baptism and Confirmed in high school. The greatest gift God gives us is Himself in the Holy Spirit, the love between the Father and Son that is so great we have the Holy Spirit. Open yourself up to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and be amazed at what God will do with you!

Today’s challenge:
Never let a day go by where you have not said, “Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth (through us)!

Start your adoration or prayer time in silence preparing yourself by saying Psalm 46:10 taking a word away each time you say it:

Be still and know that I am God.
Be still and know that I AM.
Be still and know.
Be still.
Be.

Be a servant, become a saint!
