AND BEHOLD, I AM WITH YOU ALWAYS, UNTIL THE END OF THE AGE.” MT 28:16-20

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Today, as Jesus ascends into heaven, He makes a bold promise, “And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” God gave us His only Son who we killed with our sins, He came back with love and forgiveness, then promises to stay with us always in three ways.

The most profound way is through our baptism, “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing the in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

The second way is by veiling Himself behind bread and wine so that He can fit between a priest’s two fingers (watch “The Veil Removed” https://theveilremoved.com/watch/). Jesus’ humility is a great model for us. He also stays hidden in the consecrated bread and wine so we can approach Him. How unworthy I am to have such a loving and forgiving God. He knows this and does it anyway, this is grace and true love (agape). If you are ever feeling unloved, unnoticed, or unimportant take time to get to know Christ, Son of the living God. His love and sacrifice are overwhelming.

The third way is in prayer, “Wherever two or three are gathered in my name, I am in your midst.” Last, Jesus is fully alive in the Scriptures, with the Spirit of Truth that He breathed on the Apostles on Pentecost, a small band of followers turns Christianity into a 1 billion people religion. No government has ever been able to stop them even if it is illegal to be Christian or if they persecute and even execute them. How does this happen? Love, God’s love is the most powerful thing in the universe, and all baptized Christians have the Holy Spirit to guide them to the Truth, the first installment of their salvation.

Today’s challenge: As a baptized person called to be holy, a saint, knowing Christ is with us always, CHOOSE to bring yourself closer to Him this summer by going to daily Mass more, praying more intentionally, spend time on Fridays comforting Him on the cross, visit Him in adoration, or read and reflect on Jesus in the Gospel beginning to end. Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

Be a servant, be a saint today!

Today, we learn that Jesus ascends into Heaven after 40 days. We are so unworthy and don’t deserve such a great God for us to have. We should be thankful for what he has done for us and show our appreciation for him by going to mass. We return the favor even though it is not as great as his favor for us but the more we go to mass the more we go towards Jesus or away from him we will never leave the same. Our decisions now decide our future so make it for the better not the worse.

” Paul began to occupy himself totally with preaching the word” This stuck out to be because everyone always occupies themselves with other objects but in the gospel, Paul is doing what we all should strive to do. We need to always remember God is the better option so when we think about doing something that we know is wrong or putting something above God, think again.

Jesus had to leave earth after his resurection, but the Holy Spirit is always here with us. God is all around us and we deeply connect with him each time we pray or receive the body and blood of Jesus

“We do not know what he means.” I think confusion is a big reason why people fall from the church, but when they try to figure it out, they try using THEIR intellect and not God’s. We need to reach out to God (or a priest) more if we don’t understand something about the church instead of just assuming its faulty.

In today’s scripture, Jesus tells His disciples that soon, He will rise into heaven and they will not see Him, then will see Him again. Jesus is telling us that we don’t see Him but soon, when we die, we will see Him.

Today Jesus ascends to heaven. Jesus leaves us but he is never truly gone.He leaves with us the gift of the Eucharist, the body and blood that he shed during the passion. He also gives us the Holy spirit to guide us into a life of love and faith. In doing these things for us he shows us that He is there and will always be there for us. We must pay attention in mass to be able to truly capture the glory of the Eucharist and show our love for him so that we may be able to live eternally with him.

Jesus tell his disciples that a little while and they will not see him but a little longer and they will see him again. Which is referencing his second coming when he finally returns to us on Earth. So we need to be prepared because the las time he was here was this day thousands of years ago and he didn’t give us a day for when he’s coming back so we must be ready at all times because when he returns your time Is up on Earth.

to drink his blood and eat of his flesh is what Jesus asked of us to be truly with him. to follow him and when we are born with original sin we need to get baptized so we are clean hearted towards God and his love can fill our hearts up

“Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned.” This stuck out to me because Jesus is telling us to proclaim the Gospel to everyone and Catholics are not doing that as much as they used to anymore. We need to proclaim the Gospel to everyone so everyone has a chance to be saved. Jesus wants us to love Him fully and want to proclaim it but He doesn’t want to force us to. Jesus would never force us to do anything, not even love Him. He wants us to do things on our own free will.

Jesus tells us that He is always with us. Sometimes we may think that Jesus is giving up on us. We may be sad or mad that something bad happened and we want to blame Him for letting it happen. One valuable skill we need is to realize that you can’t blame everything on someone or something else. We don’t like to make ourselves feel bad. We need to be able to see our problems and not shame ourselves, but use them to get better and learn how to solve the problem. One way we can do this is by recognizing that Jesus is always with us. Whenever something goes wrong, JUST PRAY. God is there to help you and know that when you pray, you can know that it was God’s will.

Today’s gospel intrigued me, because it didn’t actually mention Jesus ascending. It very well explained what Jesus said, but it never actually explicitly told us that he was taken up to Heaven like in other Gospels. I think this is because Jesus wants to emphasize that the acts and miracles are important, and they prove who Jesus was, but His teaching was also extremely important as well. If we had just received the miracles, we would be lost, for we would only be seeking that power. With Jesus’s teachings, however, we recognize that we can do these things through God who gives us strength. We can perform miracles if we have the right intention, and if we have faith. Faith is extremely hard, because it asks us to believe in something that we cant technically prove exists. Yes, there are so many miracles, like healings and the Eucharist, that show us there is someone more, but we cant prove that our God is the true God, scientifically. We can through faith, because it is supernatural. Humans can explain natural things, like the universe, the sea, atoms, and the like, but how are we supposed to explain supernatural things, when we don’t fully know our own natural world? Think of Black Holes. No body actually knows what goes on in there, and what about dark matter? There are so many things that we can’t explain, so why should we be able to explain the person who is entirely mystery except what he revealed to us? Answer: we can’t. We don’t have to. We have to recognize that we are loved, and have faith that Jesus became like us so we could become like him: Full of happiness and perfect love!

Jesus told us to never be afraid because He is always with us. He may have ascended to Heaven to be with His Father, but He is still very present here on Earth. He has infinite love (agape) for us and He needs us to know that He is with us always and will do anything to make us feel loved.

This is talking about how Jesus always has and always will be with us, even when something bad happens to us and don’t believe He’s there (He is). When it says “until the end of age” it means He will be there until and even after we die, Heaven will be our resting place with Jesus and our Lord.

We weren’t children of God until we were Baptized. When we were Baptized, God told us that He loves us. He loved us so much that He died for us. Now, because of His death and resurrection, we are saved and can live eternally. He revealed to us in the scriptures and told the truth. Yet, we still don’t believe. Today, we must turn to Him and understand all He has done for us.

Something that I got out of this, and it might be kind of a stretch but I think it is important and that is, that God is way more smarter, wiser, and more knowing than anyone of us could every dream, when he said,”in a while you will not see me.” all of his apostle were so confused, they did not know what he meant, and that might be the way with us sometimes. God might give us a mission that at the time we get it, but later on we will, and we have to trust in Gods plan, and trust in everything he does, because even if we do not get it know, we will now later.

Today’s Gospel talks about how when we are happy and we feel like we are doing great we will leave the Lord. Then in a little while we are sad and not doing great and we will come back to Him. We need to stay with the Lord in high moments and in the low moments, because the Lord is always with us. Trust the Lord’s plan for you and not your own.

They won’t see him but they will see the glorified version of him. Then he goes even farther and says that I will see the father. He IS GOING TO BE DEAD TO SEE THE FATHER AND COME BACK. They were literally so confused they were like whispering among each other “what does he mean I don’t understand”. Going back to him saying he would see the father he says you will mourn and weep because he is dead while the rest of the world is happy because they think he isn’t the king of Jews. They will be sad about Jesus dying and then BAM! He is alive and the grief will turn to Joy. The apostles were just like what is he talking about is he crazy what does he mean. Jesus is just like yep you will mourn when I’m gone and I’ll come back.

Jesus always masks what he says. When he speaks, he phrases things so perfectly that you need to really meditate on them to understand what he’s saying. I think he does this because He doesn’t want anyone to just see it and immediately understand it. I think He wants them to really think and dive deeper into what He says.

Jesus will come again and we know this, but we choose to do our own will. We have to follow Jesus everyday of our lives or we won’t make it to heaven. The disciples who had been with Jesus all this time, who had seen the countless Miracles He had preformed over the years. These people, the holiest of the holy, they saw Jesus, and did what they were taught to do – worship. But they still doubted. While the world finds joy in the wrong things, we will search for joy in Jesus and this can lead to worldly pain but a lot of spiritual joy. Then one day, when we all go to heaven, that pain will turn into the most purest form of love and joy.

In almost every gospel, there is a hidden message. In this one, the apostles are confused at what he means. They later understand. He tells them that they will weep but the world will rejoice and their grief will become joy. Earth is where we endure pain and suffering but if you believe in God through it all, your reward is heaven.

“behold I am with you, till the end of ages.” this is the most important question in our faith. do we believe that he has ascended and will judge us at our time of death. I feel like most of us Christians are too focused on whether we know that God has fixed our problems when we just have to speak to him. God gives us things when we need them. Whether it’s a bad day he turns it into a good day, if you let out of games someone involves you in that game. when are we going to be involved with the game of getting to Heaven, its our goal in life for people that know Jesus has come down to save us and died for us. Jesus is always there we just have to open the door that he has been knocking on for so long. God has called us by name and we have to know that its the lord, not other distractions on earth. God sees what we do, he knows what we are doing, he knows what emotion we have. If we believe In that God will do much greater things in our life to get to Heaven. it starts by opening the door for Christ.

In this scripture Jesus says, “A little while and you will no longer see me, and again a little while later and you will see me.” Jesus is trying to say that right now we wont see Jesus, but when we go to heaven we will. He will be there patiently waiting for us with so much love. We also need to be prepared, We never know when we will die. If we have sin on our soul, we go to confession and be ready. Even though we cant see him, hes always there with us

“He came back with love and forgiveness, then promises to stay with us always in three ways.” It is so crazy to me that we are the ones who made Him have to suffer and He still loves us. Our fallen nature is what made Him have to get crucified. He still chooses to love us like we did nothing wrong. He forgives us for all the horrible things that we made Him go through. He also gives us three different ways to stay with Him. He is the meaning of love.

We should be thankful for what he has done for us and show our appreciation for him by going to mass. We return the favor even though it is not as great as his favor for us but the more we go to mass the more we go towards Jesus or away from him we will never leave the same.

Jesus is with us, but sometimes we make it so we don’t accept Him. He goes to the Father and will return eventually and we should always remember the day that He comes back. He should prepare for His second coming and be filled with gladness and joy. It will be such a blessing when He comes back, we should rejoice for Him all the time even.

The life of one Catholic can help many others, one thing can expand, like atoms. Atoms create life and families, for those who choose it of course. we are flowers really, starts in the ground, or the womb for a while then starts to grow until it goes to a small bud, takes a few days until it blooms, having a beautiful colour and healthy leaves until maybe a few months go by it starts to wilt, making pollen then dies, then a new cycle appears with the pollen.

Jesus tells us in the Gospel about his second coming. When he is saying in a bit he will be gone but then be back a while after. This is proving to us from Jesus that he will come back. For the mean time he has sent the Holy Spirit and much more to guide us on the journey to him.

The little while in which he speaks is not a little while, at least not for us. The little while he speaks of is how long he will be gone and the little while after the first little while is when he will come again and when revelation will be fulfilled. He said it was a little while then, and it has been 2 thousand years, but everyday we get closer to the second coming, we have to be prepared for when he comes again.

DUDE! this is such a cool statement! God tells his diciples that he is fulfilling his destiny, that he is re-joining his father and that even though the apostles will be incredibly sad, because think about it, they have met the Son of God!, they will not have to mourn for long, because soon, they to will meet the father, and someday we will meet the father, and we can choose, if we love God and strive to be with him, we will have eternal life, or we can choose eternal pain, its our choice, we are not forced.

We will have ups and downs in life. No matter what we do, we’re only going to truly be happy when we give ourselves up to God. This doesn’t mean you forget who you are. It actually means that you must be true to yourself and true to God as much as you can. We can’t give ourselves up to God if we haven’t become who we want to be through God’s mercy. If our cup is empty, how are we going to be able to fill other people’s cups?

We will see Him in Heaven. Everyone knows that but do we really know that or is it just some words that go in one ear and out the other. Many people believe Jesus ascended but do really know what happened. What actually happened is He left us. He left us on Earth with sin, pain, and suffering. He left us to go to the Father. It makes us sad because we want to live in happiness where Jesus is. He was our light guiding the way on Earth for us and then He just left. He left us but then He sends a very helpful person to guild us. So be joyful that Jesus left so that when we die we can be with Him in Heaven.

It is our choice to be Catholic and to believe that Jesus became fully man and divine, died on the cross for our sins, and resurrected. We have that choice because God loves us so much he gave us free will to choose to Love Him. To believe in HIM. Jesus gave us a way to follow Him so now we should look to Him and follow Him.

He did it to show people that you have to choose whether you want to do what is righteous but hard and live with Jesus. Or do what is easy but sinful and make it harder for ourselves to get to heaven.

He gave us His only Son for us to put to death. He didn’t have to make the World He did it on His own. We have a God so loving so forgiving to where we just use Him. We don’t give anything in return but when we do it is for something. We need to thank God for His sacrifices and humbly submit ourselves to the Lord.

We all have moments in our lives where we feel sorrow whether it’s a loved one passing away or losing a friend. But each and everyone of us feels that. In this Gospel Jesus is telling us that our grief will be turned to joy. We are preparing for heaven. There will be moments of suffering and pain, physical and emotional, but there is one place where we will never feel that. Heaven. Jesus wants us there, He wants us to live forever in paradise but we have to follow the commandments Jesus gave us.

Today is the Ascension. Jesus rises up to Heaven today, He is doing what we hope to do when we die. Jesus became man so man could become divine. Jesus always tells us that if we keep His commandments than we will have eternal life. So why do we sin, why do we always fall to our temptations? Because we fell, and we will always fall. But that is why we have confession. So that we can become one with Christ again. The more we receive the Eucharist the more we go to confession, we can rise just like Jesus rose. To Heaven and from the dead.

We don’t deserve the loving forgiveness that he can back with. Arms open wide and ready to receive. There was no grudge between us and God he was just happy.
