Jesus reveals more of who He is and why in our Creed we believe in His resurrection and ours at the end of time.

He says, “that I should not lose anything of what He gave me, but that I should raise it on the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life, and I shall raise him on the last day.”

Jn 6:35-40

He says this after He tells us He is the bread of everlasting life. There is a great connection between the sacrifice of Jesus on Good Friday and the bread of life. At Mass, God who is in the fullness of time brings us back to Jesus on the cross. Jesus says the words of consecration through the priest who is “in persona Christi” in the person of Christ from the Last Supper, the first Mass. Jesus asked us to “do this in remembrance of me.” The one thing billions of Christians have obediently continued to do for over two thousand years is come to the supper table of The Lord. This is powerful. We have all broken the Ten Commandments, but we still are obedient to, “do this in remembrance of me.” Amen.

Jesus has resurrected and is fully alive in the Scriptures, the Bread, and in each one of our hearts! We are living in the end times, be joyful, be Christian!
