“THERE IS NO SALVATION THROUGH ANYONE ELSE, NOR IS THERE ANY OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN GIVEN TO THE HUMAN RACE BY WHICH WE ARE TO BE SAVED.” ACTS 4:1-12
Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
After the crippled man had been cured,
while Peter and John were still speaking to the people,
the priests, the captain of the temple guard,
and the Sadducees confronted them,
disturbed that they were teaching the people
and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.
They laid hands on Peter and John
and put them in custody until the next day,
since it was already evening.
But many of those who heard the word came to believe
and the number of men grew to about five thousand.
On the next day, their leaders, elders, and scribes
were assembled in Jerusalem, with Annas the high priest,
Caiaphas, John, Alexander,
and all who were of the high-priestly class.
They brought them into their presence and questioned them,
“By what power or by what name have you done this?”
Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, answered them,
“Leaders of the people and elders:
If we are being examined today
about a good deed done to a cripple,
namely, by what means he was saved,
then all of you and all the people of Israel should know
that it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean
whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead;
in his name this man stands before you healed.
He is the stone rejected by you, the builders,
which has become the cornerstone.
There is no salvation through anyone else,
nor is there any other name under heaven
given to the human race by which we are to be saved.” Acts 4:1-12
Why does the Catholic Church teach that there is no salvation through anyone but Jesus? Peter answers that question in front of the high priests today. The Church also teaches that a person of good will for all who follows his/her faith and has never been taught about Jesus will have an opportunity for heaven, too. For those of us that know Jesus and His story, do we have good will towards all? How do we treat people? The only way a non-Christian knows about our faith is first through our actions towards others and how we worship our God.
Second, Jesus’ name heals. Use it only in prayer, not in cussing. Don’t watch Youtube videos or any other form of media where people are using God’s name in vain.
Jesus revealed himself again to his disciples at the Sea of Tiberias.
He revealed himself in this way.
Together were Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus,
Nathanael from Cana in Galilee,
Zebedee’s sons, and two others of his disciples.
Simon Peter said to them, “I am going fishing.”
They said to him, “We also will come with you.”
So they went out and got into the boat,
but that night they caught nothing.
When it was already dawn, Jesus was standing on the shore;
but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.
Jesus said to them, “Children, have you caught anything to eat?”
They answered him, “No.”
So he said to them, “Cast the net over the right side of the boat
and you will find something.”
So they cast it, and were not able to pull it in
because of the number of fish.
So the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord.”
When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord,
he tucked in his garment, for he was lightly clad,
and jumped into the sea.
The other disciples came in the boat,
for they were not far from shore, only about a hundred yards,
dragging the net with the fish.
When they climbed out on shore,
they saw a charcoal fire with fish on it and bread.
Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you just caught.”
So Simon Peter went over and dragged the net ashore
full of one hundred fifty-three large fish.
Even though there were so many, the net was not torn.
Jesus said to them, “Come, have breakfast.”
And none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?”
because they realized it was the Lord.
Jesus came over and took the bread and gave it to them,
and in like manner the fish.
This was now the third time Jesus was revealed to his disciples
after being raised from the dead. JN 21:1-14
“This was now the third time Jesus was revealed to his disciples after being raised from the dead.” JN 21:14
How many times does Jesus need to return and reveal Himself for us to believe? We say it every Sunday in Church and every time we start a rosary. Have you ever really thought about what you believe in. I need proof. God gave us a the gift of faith. There is no need for proof if we have faith or it is not faith at all. This is difficult, but God has revealed so much to us if we actually slow down, sit in silence with it, and pay attention. Jesus Christ is the Truth, but His resurrection is not too good to be True. When we put our complete trust in God, He will not let us down. God never breaks His covenants, His love is always true, He knows you better than you know yourself and loves you more than you love yourself. Trust in Him, believe in Him, come to the supper table He has prepared for you and receive eternal life. Now, “Come, have breakfast,” with Jesus, go to Mass.
Today’s challenge: Believe. Ask for an increase of Faith, Hope, and Love!
#Christian YOLO
Be a servant, become a saint!
tht jesus love us varry much and he die for us to save or sins and sool so we can go to prgtory and see if wee can go to heven
I think Jesus is showing us the power he has over the Earth. He appeared to the Apostles once again and this time he put a whole entire school of fish under their boat and told them to cast into it. This just amazes because he rose from the dead and he is already back and performing miracles that show he is the Messiah.
I don’t really know what to talk about, i just want to say that i’m so very thankful to have Jesus walk by my side. He really does save, i hope everyone finds Jesus or grow closer to Him over the summer.
In this scripture it talks about how they were able to heal crippled man. This just goes to show how connected they were to Jesus that they were able to perform miracles.
Jesus has revealed Himself to the disciples three different times, with this one being very obvious about who He was. Jesus told them to cast their net into the water on their right, and because they had faith in what He was saying, they were rewarded with such a large number of fish that it was difficult to pull up. That is how much faith we should have.
Jesus is our spiritual food. When we receive Communion it fills our soul with the desire to love and serve others like Jesus. Just as our human bodies need food so does the soul. When we hide away from the Lord and turn our backs on Him it only does us harm. It starves our soul of the only food that will truly fill us up. By receiving Communion and going to Mass our souls are able to go out and spread the Word of God throughout the world.
A phrase that stuck out to me was “By what power or by what name have you done this?” I like this phrase because it means that they do not know that they did it in Jesus name. This phrase means to me that Jesus is still king even though he died for us he is still king. Another reason I like it is that they ask by what power it is the same thing as the name of Jesus.
¨But many of those who heard the word came to believe.¨ This scripture passage had many huge important details. This quote stuck out to me a lot. I feel like it is saying that many believed in Him because He is the truth. He is nothing but the truth. We have to realize how God can change our lifes by us just believing. If you are having trouble beileiving in Him, ask for help, seek it. He will never turn His back on you, He longs for us. So, lets keep practicing believe in Him and His word.
The part in today’s scripture that stood out to me was, “There is no salvation through anyone else.” This stood out to me because it is the whole truth. Jesus died for us and always forgives us. The worldly possessions that we cling onto did not die to save us, they did not open the Gates of Heaven, Jesus did.
Jesus proves to us that He has risen from the dead. We should not be like some others, we should trust Jesus and know He loves us.
In todays reading the last line “There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved” stood out to me. I think that it stood out because it tells us that there is one true God and that He is the one who will save us at the end of the day.
In Scripture, Jesus was revealed to His disciples the third time after His resurrection. At Mass, Jesus reveals Himself in the Eucharist. How many times have we been to Mass? Jesus keeps revealing Himself yet we still doubt Him. We need to believe that He is real and He keeps trying to show us Himself.
Jesus can work through anyone to spread his word and perform his miracles. He acted through Peter, but he also acts through someone we often forget about. Priests. In Persona Christi Capitis, in the person of Christ, the Head. He works through the priests to mimic the Last Supper and turn bread and wine to his Body and Blood.
In these readings, I learned that we should really believe that Jesus has risen because of the many times He has revealed Himself. Jesus is the cornerstone the builders rejected. He should be the cornerstone for our hearts. We should not reject Jesus.
In today’s scripture Jesus is telling us that we can do all things through Christ he loves us and everyone around us. He will never give up on us or any one for the faith.
What reached out to me was, “that it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead; in his name this man stands before you healed”. What this means to me is that we all know that Jesus rose from the dead, but we shouldn’t take that for granted. Jesus did something that has never happened before and He did it for us. Every Easter and Lent we celebrate His death and resurrection, but we need to acknowledge what He actually went through for us.
4/14: Trust God and offer up all of your prayers to him. Jesus died for us on the cross and took all of our sins with him. The best thing you can do as a Catholic is believe (have faith) and go to Sunday mass. As humans, we need to be reminded of our identity. We are children of God, loved by God. Going to mass is our weekly reminder that God loves us.
what struck me today was why did the guards arrest them? they did a good work.
After the crippled man had been cured, while Peter and John were still speaking to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple guard, and the Sadducees confronted them, disturbed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. even after the ressurection of our Lord, they still don’t belive him. but we do. we believe that he rose from the dead, if we knew that from facts, there would be no need for faith. our faith leads us to do the right thing. even if it hard what we were made with, our conscience, will guide us.
The phrase that stuck out to me was “There is no salvation through anyone else.” It says to me well, it’s kind of obvious, that God is our hope and our salvation. You can’t go to heaven without the father. God is everything and we are nothing without him.
Jesus has cured the blind, mute, deaf, and crippled. He has helped us in so many ways and will always stick by your side whenever you need him. He will love us for eternal life.
Today’s scripture we learn Jesus works miracles in the Trinity. He performed while on earth as a spirit and at the right and of the father. my favorite part of scripture is, “Why does the Catholic Church teach that there is no salvation through anyone but Jesus? Peter answers that question in front of the high priests today. The Church also teaches that a person of good will for all who follows his/her faith and has never been taught about Jesus will have an opportunity for heaven, too. For those of us that know Jesus and His story.” It shows he works miracles through our body.
There is no salvation through anyone but Jesus, not tiktok, you tube, snap chat or anything or anyone. We must pull ourselves away from all of these Earthly desires and put ourselves at the feet of God. Also have we ever really thought about and believed in what our religion is teaching us.
In the scripture it says how he heals a crippled man and that Jesus will never give up on us no matter what. And that Christ has himself work through people to help preach the word of God.
Jesus is powerful over the earth in which he created he is also always in us even if we do not notice he could control us but he gave a great gift called free will and died for us on the cross and opened the gates of heaven for us to hopefully enter one day to get the people around us there and us ourselves.
Peter and John were put into custody because they healed a crippled man and were proclaiming that Jesus rose from the dead and is alive in Heaven. We need to be able to do anything for our faith. For example, get put into custody for believing that Jesus is fully alive in everyone and everything. Like Peter said, “That it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean
whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead;
in his name this man stands before you healed.
He is the stone rejected by you, the builders,
which has become the cornerstone.”
Jesus appeared to the Apostles and told them to put their net down and they will find something amazing. And because Jesus is all powerful whatever He says is true so sure enough, they put down the net and 135 big, BIG fish are in the net. Yet the net doesn’t get torn. The Apostles thought that Jesus was a ghost but they were wrong. As you can read that Peter was so happy to know that it was Jesus, he swam to Him from where their boat was. So he was excited to see the Lord. As we should be as well.
Jesus died for us. He suffered on that cross. For us and Mary had to watch him suffer. We are responsible for Jesus’ death. Jesus knew when he was going to die how he was going to die he knew all of it. He knew that his story of salvation would be passed down. Yet he knew as humans we would doubt it. We would deny him and then betray him and yet he still did all of it. Jesus even left a relic so we could really really believe.
Peter tells us that Jesus is the Answer and the Healer and the only way to get to the Father in heaven. Jesus , though he isn’t there, is the miracle worker. Jesus gives the person the power to heal the cripple and lame.
Jesus is always proving to us he is here and that he has raised from the dead but we don´t completely care we just listen and then ignore it later on in life there could be as many facts that Jesus rose from the dead but even if you had all the facts in the world you can still not believe because you need faith and a strong faith and relationship with God.
We can do all things through Christ, and He will help us, and always stand at our side. Even when we do wrong, or if we sin. He will always stay with us. We need him in our lives, so that our sins can be forgiven, through Christ.
In this scripture jesus healed a crippled man,Jesus can heal us too,he is our spiritual food, that’s why we receive communion so that he can heal and redeem us with his love.
we need to believe and live in him it is important that we do this so that we can get to hevon and understand him more and to be able to talk to him face to face. And whale we can we need to be the aposels of are time. Go and share the gospel and talk to people and under stand that if you do this you will spend eternity with God. So we need to keep him alive in us so we can share him with other along the way to heaven And you might not when to do some thing but think of the outcome and think about what might happen if you dont do it you will burn in hell with alll the other unforchanet souls so do good and you will get good iin return.
We need to believe and live in him it is important that we do this so that we can get to hevon and understand him more and to be able to talk to him face to face. And whale we can we need to be the aposels of are time. Go and share the gospel and talk to people and under stand that if you do this you will spend eternity with God. The name of Jesus healed a crippled man and Jesus told his disciples to fish on there right side and they got a lot of fish
Whats tuck out to me was that How many times does Jesus need to return and reveal Himself for us to believe? We say it every Sunday in Church and every time we start a rosary. Have you ever really thought about what you believe in. I need proof. God gave us a the gift of faith. There is no need for proof if we have faith or it is not faith at all. This is difficult, but God has revealed so much to us if we actually slow down, sit in silence with it, and pay attention. This stuck out to me because no one should need proof to believe but he still gave us proof like the shroud of turin and others we shouldn’t need these things for us to believe in Jesus we just need faith.
If we believe we will be healed by Jesus. Even though we put him on the cross he still heals us and fills us with the Holy Spirit, watching over us. It was through the power of Jesus dying on the cross that we have a chance to go to Heaven and be healed.
One thing that stuck out to me is how Peter and John were arrested for proclaiming Jesus had healed someone and he was risen. They did not care about going to jail they just wanted to spread the message that Jesus heals and was risen from the dead. They would do anything for Jesus and put Jesus before other unimportant things in life.
In today’s scripture it tells us just how powerful and loving Jesus is. We killed him and right after he rose from the dead and performed more miracles. The apostles had so much faith in Jesus that even after he died, rose from the dead, and came to give them fish, they all knew it was Jesus. Jesus is truly the Messiah.
This is telling me that Jesus’ name is so powerful even though Jesus wasn’t with the Disciple physically, they [the disciples] healed the crippled man by just saying Jesus’ name.
Jesus is a miracle worker. He will do anything in his power to let everyone know that Jesus rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of the father. Jesus can even do things through other holy people and that can be proclaiming His word. Peter and John were proclaiming His word and the priest and high-class took them into custody but the numbers of listeners went from a little group to 5,000 people. Jesus can do amazing things for us and through us.
Jesus revealed himself to us again today. When people mourn they normally mourn in sadness and that is what I think Jesus was trying to lift off our shoulders. He died and many people were mourning but He came to show them that He was still alive in all of them. He is alive in us because we received Him this morning. Jesus is alive so rejoice today because He was dead and is now alive.
In todays reading Peter and John were taken into custody because they healed the crippled man and they ask him how did you do this and they reply with “it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead; in his name this man stands before you healed.” What they are saying to them is the man whom you just crucified is the man that healed the cripple.
In today’s Gospels I learned that we should believe Jesus has risen because of the many times He revealed Himself to us. At Mass, Jesus reveals Himself in the Eucharist. Jesus is always revealing Himself but we still doubt Him. We need to believe that He is real.
I think the scripture is telling me that Jesus’ name is powerful. Peter just said, “In the name of Jesus Christ rise and walk.” and the crippled man was haled. Jesus wasn’t even physical there with them. He was spirtual with him. Jesus is everywhere. When we call upon his name for help, healing, or guidance he answers. Jesus rose from the dead by his own power. He died and raised himself to life. That’s powerful. Jesus has power to lift you from your suffering and hurt He will do it all you have to do is call upon his name. Ask Peter. Peter called upon the holy name of Jesus Christ and he healed through him. We can’t forget that Jesus is always with us. No matter our life, we have to talk and call upon Jesus in our weakest and strongest moments of our life.
In John 21, Jesus shows himself to the disciples a third time and we realize that it is asking us how many times do we need to see to believe that Jesus has resurrected? If we have faith, we don’t have to rely on proof that God is real. Go to Mass and “Come, have breakfast” with Jesus.
What i learned today is that even just speaking the name of Jesus can heal anyone. He can even raise people form the dead.
How many times does Jesus need to show that he is truly God for us to believe? But there is no need for proof if we have faith.
Have you ever really thought about what you believe in. we shouldn’t have to see him to believe we should already believe that Jesus is our God. Also not to use their names in vain or anything that hurts their name.
It´s easy for us to put ourselves down. When we do something wrong we can get upset and unhappy with ourselves. Our self esteem can get really low when we´re not good at some things, or we think we can´t do some things. It can make us wonder if we actually have a purpose in this world. God gave us all a purpose, and he gave all of us our own unique gifts. We have to remember this, because putting ourselves down TOO MUCH could lead us to bad places.
Jesus has done much to help others. Would He not do the same for you and me? None of us are worthy of His help and grace. We are sinners. And yet He gives it to us anyway.
The people in Jerusalem are scared by the powers of the Apostles. Most people do not yet understand that Jesus has risen from the dead. He is with us all up to the Ascension, and He has promised that He will be with us again. It is important to repent and pray to God, because we never know when Jesus will decide when to come back. “Stay awake.”
Jesus has done so much for us he died on the cross. Jesus loves everyone.
Jesus is always calling us but we don’t listen. We need to spend time in silence to hear His voice calling our name. Jesus loves us no matter what but we don’t see that. When we make a mistake we think we’re going to get in trouble but Jesus forgives us. Jesus knows us but do we know Jesus?
I think this scripture is about peter explaining why he was not the one who healed the crippled man. He explains how God was the one who gave him the power to heal. We should credit God for everything. He is the one who gave us the power to do everything we do.
Jesus appears to the Apostles once again. He is showing clues that He is always with us and that He is alive and resurrected.
Jesus revealed himself to the disciples in a similar way to when he first met some of them. he came out to them while they were fishing and revealed himself to them. they are amazed and confused when they see him but they are also filed with joy that he has returned to them as he said he would.
There is no other name which we are to be saved by except Jesus. Jesus came to save us and the high leaders did not believe in Peter and John. Peter was trying to tell them that Jesus was risen, but they never listened. Sometimes we don’t listen to God. We just ignore him. We should try to spend time with him in silence to hear him.
“Then all of you and all the people of Israel should know that it was in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazorean.” This stood out to me because Jesus Christ died for us so we have to know Him and why He has died for us. We should all know that Jesus is alive and He is real. He saved us from sin. He loves us so very much.
In this Gospel it tells that we should put our faith in Jesus and be thankful. Jesus heals us many ways and we dont even see it. He not only heals us but gives us grace.Lets be thankful for the things God gives us.
There is no salvation through anyone else,
nor is there any other name under heaven
given to the human race by which we are to be saved.” Jesus is the one who saves us, his teachings are our pathway to heaven, with Jesus nothing is impossible.
In this scripture it is telling us to trust Jesus. We need to have trust in him so he can lead us back to God in Heaven and we can have eternal life with him. For us to ever really be able to trust anyone else we first need to start trusting God.
what the scripture is telling me is that Jesus is the one that saves us and is the only one we should call upon. Jesus is always with us even though death.
“There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved”. God is the one who died for us so we could be freed from our sins. Nobody else even compares to Him, and nothing compares to what He went through for us. He is the only person who could have ever died for us and He is our one and only savior.
This Scripture proves that through God anything is possible. The name of Jesus is so powerful that it healed a crippled man even though Jesus wasn’t the one saying that he would heal him.
“given to the human race by which we are to be saved.” Jesus has saved us by dying on the cross and we can repay Hi by spreading the word of God. He gave up his life for us and this is the least we can do to repay Him.
Jesus showed himself to his disciples 3 times. Jesus does so many things for us and In today’s scripture he healed a crippled man. When this scripture is talking about good deeds I ask myself when was the last time I did a good deed.
Jesus was the corner stone that the builder rejected. Jesus wants to collect the ones that are the least of his people and those shall come to rule the earth. it is not all about that though he is looking for the ones who set their pride down and follow god and dont try to be better than him they follow his example.
“So the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord.” When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he tucked in his garment, for he was lightly clad, and jumped into the sea.” Jesus has showed the people that He is the Lord multiple times. He is revealing Himself to us, all we need to do is listen and act upon what He is telling us to do. We need to go out and spread the Word of God.
In the Scripture today I think it is telling me to always no matter what believe in Jesus. Jesus is our savior and the one who saved us. Jesus always cares about us and this is why we believe in Him because of the things that He does for us.
In this scripture so many of the townspeople started to believe in Jesus and started to follow Him, Jesus performs miracles, and we seem to not believe in Him as strong as He wants us to. We need to worship Him and lay down our life for Him so we can live in Heaven with Him once we die.
“There is no salvation through anyone else” Jesus is our path to heaven. No one else can lead us there. Everything leads to him, who leads us to heaven. He saved us, even though we don’t deserve it. He loves us even though we don’t deserve it. He wants us to come to him, so that we can get to heaven.
It is about how some people just don’t care about others or to help them. Jesus died on the cross for us to help us and to help us go to heaven, but some people don’t care about Him or are trying their best to grow closer to Jesus.
“After the crippled man had been cured, while Peter and John were still speaking to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple guard, and the Sadducees confronted them, disturbed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead. They laid hands on Peter and John and put them in custody until the next day,” People don’t want us to love God. They are disturbed and disgusted that we have so much love and faith for a divine person. This shows us that our faith is strong it threatens others and scares them.
Something that stuck out to me today in this Scripture was this part of it: “There is no salvation through anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to the human race by which we are to be saved” When that is said, I think that Jesus is trying to communicate through the Apostles is that there is only one God who can save us. Often times we look for happiness in other places. We look for it in sports, technology, food, anything. What we need to realize is that only God can save us, only He can bring us true happiness through heaven.
Jesus died for our sins, and went through pain no human should go through. His sacrifice is something no other person has the power to do, hence why He is the sole reason we can go to heaven. Jesus owed us nothing, but He gave us His all.
I find it awesome how the apostles didn’t have to question it was Jesus. They didn’t even ask and I think that shows how close Jesus and the Apostles really were. I just love how the Apostles loved and adored Jesus so much that they just knew it was him.
Peter and John were put into custody because they healed a crippled man and were proclaiming that Jesus rose from the dead and is alive in Heaven. We need to be able to do anything for our faith. For example, get put into custody for believing that Jesus is fully alive in everyone and everything.
This scripture is talking about how Jesus reveled himself once again to the disciples and how it remind me that Jesus will never leave our side and how his love is so strong that it can´t break us apart even though he died nothing will be able not even Satan although sometime he will he will always still love us and still be by our side.
The guards arrested Peter and John and put them into custody. Why did they do this? Peter and John performed a miracle by curing the crippled man. “But many of those who heard the word came to believe and the number of men grew to about five thousand” After Peter and John got arrested people started believing. Really believing. People started to believe in and proclaim the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
I think once again the scripture is saying that we need Jesus to help open the gates of heaven and help guide us there by his scriptures, his life, and his disciples. Jesus wants us to be with him. Jesus also teaches us we must all help one another get to heaven.
This must have been a liminal expirience on the boat. You have watched your savior and leader die on the cross, and he is now suddenly talking to you as a living being. Simon Peter knew that Jesus had some strange powers, but this much was unthought of.
I think it is really important to realize the importance of believing Christ is risen really is. I mean, look at the people who he has revealed himself to. They are transformed.
So are we.
Think about it. We know who Jesus is. We know His story. This is nothing new. BUT, everytime Jesus speaks to you, you are transformed. Every time you read Scripture, you are formed in Christ. We are transformed into the person Christ wants us to be.
Let Him transform you.
Jesus told the disciples to cast their nets on the right side of the boat. In a way we need to do the same. We cast out nets to the left every day (doing with what we normally do). we need to cast our nets to the right (do what is uncomfortable). Go out of your way and help someone. If the person that you are helping is not you favorite human being that is OK, in all honesty is is better to help the ones the you may not care for. Jesus helped His enemies, so why can;t we? Start with something little, then over time get bigger sand bigger. That is what the saints did. The saints were not just born and magically do a miracle. No. They had to start somewhere. Trust, and you will not only cash fish on the right side, but your will catch joy and everlasting peace.
i think God is trying to tell us that he would do anything for us but we have to listen to him. The apostles didnt realize the fisherman was Jesus but they still listened and got over 100 large fish and were going to be fed for the next few weeks if they managed the food well. Jesus has done so much for us but we fail to just listen to him one time.
In this scripture it talks about how the followers of Jesus were able to heal crippled man rise and go get water. This just goes to show how connected they were to Jesus that they were able to perform miracles and help people get closer to Christ.
Jesus is super powerful. The disciples just said His name then crippled men would walk! But they still need to prove that He is God? We should always strive to believe in God even when life gets difficult. Jesus won’t take away your suffering but He will go through it with you.
Jesus reveals himself to His disciples 3 times so far. Jesus rose from the dead, and he appeared to his disciples, yet often they don’t realize it is Him. This is kind of what happens in our day to day lives. God appears to us and he helps us, but a lot of times, we don’t realize that it is Him. We should slow down, and actually talk to God in little snippets of our day, say thank you for this, and please, can i have this. Just recognize Jesus in your life, and it will be enriched.
“Cast the net over the right side of the boat and you will find something.” this for me is like saying to keep trying again and again. Just keep praying and God will answer or do something else. Never give up!
Jesus is a miracle worker. He can do things through people. Peter and John were proclaiming His word and the high-class took them into custody but the numbers of listeners went from a little group to 5,000 people. Jesus can do amazing things for us and through us.
In the Gospel it tells us how even though we killed Jesus, He came back on the third day. He was preforming miricales before He died. Now He is preforming more after He ressurected. The diciples didn’t know that the man was Jesus but they still listened and cast the net one more time. If they didn’t listen they wouldn’t have cought anything and had nothing to eat. But the listened and after they cast the net they all realized who Jesus was. we need to listen to Jesus so that way we can love Him.
“disturbed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.” when Jesus walked the earth, we feared him, but not like we do today. when he was alive, we were scared of the power he posessed. but now, we are afraid that he may not even be real. if he doesn’t exist, then neither would we. God created everything that has ever existed. people often believe in the big bang theory. what if that was just God snapping his fingers? that would change the whole viewpoint on how earth was created.
There is no salvation through anyone else,
nor is there any other name under heaven
given to the human race by which we are to be saved.”
This stuck out to me immediately because a lot of times we forget that God is the most important and we get distracted by things like technology and sports and things that won’t matter when we die. When we die we will get judged and we will either go to heaven or hell and whatever one you go to depends on the choices you made in your life so we need to put God first which is really difficult especially in the times that we are living but we need to try.
Jesus said to them, “Come, have breakfast.” And none of the disciples dared to ask him, “Who are you?” because they realized it was the Lord. When we go up to meet him we will be in shock because He is the reason why we are living today and if we can’t realize it is Him how can we call us Catholics when we read the stories and go to church. We are the reason why God died for us and we are the reason why he carried the cross and to show us His love. He is the one and only and if we can’t recognize that how can we say that we are Catholic.
“Jesus Christ the Nazorean whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead.” We killed Jesus. We said, “Let him be Crucified.” Jesus died because he loves us and wants us to go to Heaven. He rose from the dead to fulfill the prophecy and to open the gates of Heaven.
God is our home. He is our key of life. He is how we succeed. If we glorify or idolize someone who is not God then we are doing it all wrong. God is they way of life the answer to everything in life. He is what we need and what we want. God is what we should cherish. The most extraordinary thing in life isn’t money, fame, or good grades its a relationship with Jesus.
I think what scripture is trying to say is that all things are possible through God. Today the disciples when out to catch fish and did not get any. When they were on their way back they saw Jesus not knowing it was him. Then Jesus told them to cast their net one more time and they caught a lot of fish. The reason they caught the amount of fish that they did is because He told them to and God can do anything. If God can do anything He could wipe out the face of the earth because we are all sinners, but he doesn’t because his love for us is infinite. This is why we believe in God because he loves us and only wants whats best for us.
In today’s scripture we hear that Jesus appears to the apostles and he helps them catch the fish. This stuck out to me because it shows that Jesus can help us with anything just like he helped the apostles.
At first Jesus’ disciples did not know that Jesus was the Lord when they were fishing. However, when Jesus told them to cast their nets to the right side, they caught quite a bit of fish. So much fish that they weren’t able to reel the net in.
We are like disciples. We don’t know that God is directly in front of us, but when Jesus gives us a sign that He is real, then we know that He is in front of us.
This scripture tells us to believe in Jesus’ saving power. As we know, Jesus’ power is supernatural, making it hard for us to truly believe in Him. Jesus has the power to save our souls, so do we choose to take his offer?

Jesus proves that He is God and can work great Miracles but still some cannot believe.
in this scripture peter and john healed a crippled person and they were confronted for it and they tell them it was Jesus doing it through them
I think this is trying to say that God have done so many good things for us and we need to spread the word of God and tell people what all he has done because he needs credit for creating us and so much more.
i think this scripture is on how god healed the crippled man and how we need to spread the word.
Jesus was a humble and caring man, and whenever he was given the oppurtunity to help someone, he took it. Another example of him doing this is when he comferted the weeping women before he was crucified. So Jesus put others before himself, even in the face of death.
some miracles are hard to believe and some people think blindly through the saying. When Jesus healed the man people were shocked. they couldn’t think it was real but looking upon it. IT was real. Look and see from your eyes and not think. Too much thinking on what you see makes it hard in life and you get stuck in a void of it in a loop.
This scriptures shows us how God is so great and will never give up on us. He loves us so much and his love cannot be compared to anything we have in this world. It is so great and powerful we can not even begin to realize the significance of it.
Jesus should always be the center of our lives, and he died on the cross for us, even if just one of us excisted, he would still die for us on the cross and go through everything he went through. We need to realise that and fix it.
Faith is when we believe. And God gave us the gift of faith. We dont need scientific evidence that God is real, because then what would be the point of our faith? We have to have a strong faith, so that the devil cant break it.
Faith is when we believe. And faith is a gift from God. We dont need scientfic evidence to prove that God is real, because then what would our faith be? It wouldnt be faith because faith is believing without evidence. And we have to make our faith stable and strong so that the devil cant take it apart.
