“LORD, EVEN THE DOGS UNDER THE TABLE EAT THE CHILDREN’S SCRAPS.”
Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus went to the district of Tyre.
He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it,
but he could not escape notice.
Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him.
She came and fell at his feet.
The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth,
and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
He said to her, “Let the children be fed first.
For it is not right to take the food of the children
and throw it to the dogs.”
She replied and said to him,
“Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.”
Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go.
The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed
and the demon gone. MK 7:24-30
The Syrophoenician woman is a non-Jew and a foreigner. She is unclean according to Jewish law. She has not been raised in Jewish ways and does not understand or know about the story of God and His chosen people of Israel. This is why Jesus says, “Let the children be fed first (Jews).” She perseveres, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” She understands that she is not worthy but she believes Jesus has the power to heal her daughter who she loves.
Faith consists of complete trust in God. It’s hard. In the most difficult times in your life, the worst addictions, the hardest sin, do you believe God has the power to help you through it? Do you believe Jesus is right there with you in that suffering, that temptation? If not, what do you put your faith in? What do you believe?
As we are about to embark on another 40 days in the desert, we will be fasting, praying, and giving alms. This is a great checkpoint to see how strong your faith is. What parts of your life or sin is leading you away from Christ? Is your faith lukewarm? Do you desire holiness? Ask Jesus to increase your faith this Lenten season!
Today’s challenge: Faith begins with hope. Pope Francis said that Christian hope is born in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is a belief that begins in your heart. When we realize we cannot do life on our own, we fall to our knees and ask God for help. We then start a journey of faith by seeking Jesus Christ and we sit and begin to learn about Him in the Scriptures. Once we have discovered the joy that Christ brings, we want to share it, which is love.
God, please increase in me faith, hope, and love.
Be a servant, become a saint!

jesus is allwas show us a sine c that he allway with us and all wash with us ald we have to chos wich way to go in or fathand jesus allwas love us
Jesus says “Let the children be fed first,” saying that the Jews will be healed first, but the woman who isn’t Jewish says “Even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps,” so although she isn’t Jewish and doesn’t know about the story of God, believes that Jesus has the power to clean and heal her daughter.
What reached out to me was, “but he could not escape notice”. What this means to me is that we need to be careful with the distractions in the world. We can overlook Jesus at times but if we spend enough time looking for him, it will become easier.
In this Gospel, Jesus heals a girl with an unclean spirit. The part of this Gospel that really touched me was when the mother said, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” The mother has so much faith that Jesus. She truly believes that He will heal her daughter. Jesus will save us if we believe that he could.
Even if you believe you are not worthy, you can always pray to God.
“When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.” Jesus heals the demons out of us only if we go to Him. When we repent our sins He heals us. We should go to confession so that we can be healed of the demons inside us.
In todays reading we see that the woman had faith and truly believed that Jesus could help her. She put all of her faith in his hands to save her daughter and without her trust in God and wasn’t greedy. She asked for her daughter not for her self which is selfless.
Life is not easy. It will never be a walk in the park for anyone. God understands this. He understands that life isn’t easy. It’s not easy to be Catholic. During these hard times, God calls out to us. He calls us because He knows this is the perfect time to begin growing his relationship with us. He knows we are struggling and He wants to help. He wants us to give Him all of our struggles. To lay them down at his feet. God wants to sit in the driver seat so we can sit in the passenger seat.
I think this gospel goes to show how tough life was for him. He had to hide because of the crowds that would surround him. It shows that no normal person like us could do his job. People may think that the only hard part in his life was the crucifixion and the scourging but one of the hard parts had to have been going everywhere anonymously.
In this scripture Jesus cures a woman’s daughter because she asks if we ask Jesus to ask him to help us become closer to God and his son.
This woman was non-Jew, she was unclean according to Jewish law, but yet Jesus still healed her daughter. Even when they weren’t followers Jesus still helped. This showed me how no matter how far you have fallen, Jesus is always there to help and catch you. I know i will always have support from Him.
God loves everyone and wants us all to be happy. Even though we are not worthy, He loves us and takes care of us. “Knock and the door shall be opened.” All we have to do is ask Him to be with us.
Jesus loves us no matter who we are and where we come from. The Syrophoenician woman was not Jewish and Jesus still healed her daughter because of her faith. Jesus cares about us and loves us. He will love us no matter what.
What I think this scripture is trying to tell us is that Jesus loves us very deeply even if we do not follow him Jesus will always love us and want us to join him he will want us to follow him so he will do what he can.
A phrase that stuck out to me is for saying this you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter. I like this phrase because it means that her faith was so strong that the lord could see it. It also tells me that God truly love us and would do anything for us.
He said to her, “Let the children be fed first. For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs.” She replied and said to him, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” She humbles her self in the presence of Jesus and asks for forgiveness. She understands shes not worthy (no one is) and still pleads not for herself but for the soul of her daughter. Jesus and God know if your being truly sincere so Jesus knew that he could help her.
Today´s scripture passage has many different meanings. The way Jesus told me to look at it is that Jesus is always here for us, through the good and bad. He will be here for us all the time. But we have to ask and be open. Also, saying that we have to keep coming back because Jesus might not answer our prayers/ concerns right that minute. Be open to Him. He is our Father. He knows everything, everything, but he wants you to still tell Him and pray about it.
The demon has gone out of your daughter. I like this phrase because it means that her faith was so strong that the lord could see it. It also tells me that God truly love us and would do anything for us. “Let the children be fed first. For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs.” She replied and said to him, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” That is what scripture tells us
Jesus did not want fame. he just wanted to help people get to heaven. he didn’t want to be known as the person who can heal you, but as the person who can help you get to heaven and enjoy eternal life with the trinity. He helps people get to heaven, let him help you.
This story truly shows that Jesus will love you no matter how much sin you have. He will forgive you and love you no matter what. Jesus forgives, loves, and cares about you.
We need to have complete faith in God. We need to listen to him even in the worst times. Jesus is here with us in our present. If we don’t trust God we can’t make it to heaven. So we need to listen let god take the wheel and trust in his plan.
It’s remarkable that he can truly do all he can cast demons out of people. He can really make us deeply fall in love with him. Hes truly amazing there is no one like him. We need to be open to him and show him who we really are to cast all the sin out of us and truly make us pure.
We must be wise and talk to Jesus. We must ask Jesus for miracles and for forgiveness. He can drive the nastiness out of us by letting us receive Him in the Eucharist. We also must go to Confession and use that to our advantage. Jesus forgives us, and without Him forgiving us we will never be able to get to Heaven. We are all sinners.
In the scripture it says that Jesus helps cure her daughter and we are asking Jesus to help us and become closer to him.
Jesus cleans a girls unclean spirit because her mom had so much faith in Jesus. Our parents always want the best for us. Jesus saw that her mother had so much faith in him that she knew he could take the demon out of her daughter. We have to respect our parents because they do so much for us.
God could heal all of our sorrows, our pain our suffering in the blink of an eye, but he wants to be our father. He wants us to ask him for healing just like you would to your father on earth. The Lord drives out demons they are afraid of him. We need to ask God to help us turn away from the devil because he will
The Gentile (non-Jew) asked for her daughter to be rid of an unclean spirit. Jesus said that he was ” going to let the children first instead of feeding the dogs with the children’s food”. The woman realized what this meant so she humbled herself and said ” even the dogs eat at the children’s scraps. she humbled herself in the sight of the lord and her Daughter was healed. this shows that even thought Jesus was Jewish he came to save the gentiles as well.
God doesn’t’ care who you are.God doesn’t care if you grew up learning about him and knowing everything about the catholic church. No,God cares if you believe and put him first if you put him second then he will put you second.
Even though we are not worthy of Jesus he still will be there for us and loves us but we still need to The woman was not a Jew but Jesus still helped the woman because of her strong faith Jesus will love us no matter what and there’s no changing that
God loves us no matter what, He will always be with us. Why else would he send his only son to preach the word and die for OUR sins. When we go to confession we admit what we have done making our souls clear of all sin we may have done, confession is a type of prayer. Prayer is our time with Jesus alone.
Not everything is going to be easy some things will be easy but almost nothing in life you can just get around like it wasn’t there. So we have to face these problems and obviously take care of them. This is where Jesus comes in, he is always there for us no matter what we are doing. He is the one that we need to be focused on, we always just get away from life and from God when we get on our phone or things like that. But what we should do is just go to Jesus and pray.
God loves you. God loves everyone. He knows that the woman is not Jewish but helps her even when he wants to be alone he helps her. I get so annoyed when I want to be alone and some comes and starts talking to me but I would be even more annoyed if someone asked me to do something for them and if its someone I don’t know to well eather but he doesn’t even know this lady has not ever talked to her and he’s helping her when he wants to be alone. That’s how you know he loves everyone even if you don’t believe in him he loves to so much.
I think that really it was her faith that saved her daughter. if she had not completely had faith that he would save her daughter, she would not have been healed.
What stuck out to me is that Faith consists of complete trust in God. It’s hard. In the most difficult times in your life, the worst addictions, the hardest sin, do you believe God has the power to help you through it? this stuck out to me because sometimes i think its better to go my own may but in reality God is the right way.
Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him. She came and fell at his feet. The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter. That all of ours demons can be chased out and heal use from sins
Jesus walked into a house hoping to not be seen but they saw him and asked him to drive a evil spirit out of her daughter. So even if you don think God is with you.
Faith consists of complete trust in God. It’s hard. In the most difficult times in your life, the worst addictions, the hardest sin, do you believe God has the power to help you through it?
you should believe in him and know that he will help you with ever you need.
the demon that stroke your daughter really stuck out to me because it means that her faith was so strong and God will do anything for us.
“but he could not escape notice”. This means that if we look hard enough we can always find him.
Think of this : You are a catholic go to a Buddhist temple and don’t know what you are supposed to do so you watch people. You try to follow their steps from afar but only get a few of the steps down. People start to stare at you looking in disgust while you feel weak. This is how the Syrophoenician woman felt. She is the dog under the table eating the scraps.
He is with you
Any one can believe in God. No matter who you are or what you do. You just have to believe in Him to be a child of God. You have to believe in him and trust him to take care of you.
Life is not easy. It will never be a walk in the park for anyone. God understands this. He understands that life isn’t easy. It’s not easy to be Catholic. During this time, God calls out to us, He calls us because He knows this is the perfect time to begin growing his relationship with us. He knows we are struggling and He wants to help.
What God is trying to say is that if something bad happens to you should pray to God and he’ll come through. We should let God handle the strugles in life and he will help you with them.
One thing that stuck out to me was that Jesus drove the demon out of the girl and he did not ask for a reward. Jesus loves us and does anything for us just so we can get closer to him and live our life how he did. Jesus did not want money for doing something nice to the girl he just did it to be kind to the girl and show her love.
We need to be like the Syrophoenician woman and we need to realize that we are not worthy but we need to believe that Jesus has the power to heal. We need to believe in God to help us through hard times. Jesus is with us while we suffer. We need to ask Jesus to make us more faithful and lead us on the path to heaven
“Faith consists of complete trust in God”. This phrase in the passage is really meaningful because it shows that if we want to spend eternity in paradise with God, we need to trust his word, which can be hard at times, but we must perservere.
the scripture is telling me that Jesus does not care what you are. He wants to save you and he loves you no matter what you do or what race you are. Jesus is all knowing and powerful that he sees behind the faces of the people that come to him and he listens and sees their heart and there and knows what they are thinking and doing. So I can see the heart and mind like Jesus did and not judge people by the way they look or the thinks the belive in.
Jesus will always love us no matter our sin. He wants to be with us and we should want him back. To me this is very powerful because God loves us so much that he would do anything to bring us back to him in Heaven.
Today I feel Jesus is telling all of us that when we ask we shall receive. He is telling me that when you ask for your sins forgiven He will forgive them if your sorry. Just like If you ask for a miracle with faith He will give you it.
She begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter. This part stuck out to me because this mother went to Jesus even though she knew she was not worthy. She put her daughter before herself and went to Jesus knowing there was a possibility that he would not cast out the demon in her daughter. She didn’t just ask him she begged him to cast out the demon. She didn’t just ask him nicely or have her daughter do it, she went to Jesus and begged him to cast the demon.
God made EVERYONE and loves EVERYONE. Even though Catholics are baptized as the children of God it doesn´t mean Catholics are perfect. Everyone, Catholic or not, is broken inside and fragile. But with God ´ s help, we can slowly put the pieces of our brokenness back together to reveal more of who we really are. When we do finish putting ourselves together, we will still have cracks because of our human nature. But I ´ d rather be fixed by God and still be a little bit broken than not be fixed at all.
God will always test us. He wants to know if we are worthy of Him and Heaven. Everyone deserves Jesus’s love, whether you have an unclean or clean spirit. God understands our desire for His love and grants us it.
We are not worthy of God’s grace. We do not deserve God’s grace but he still gives us grace. If we know we are unclean and we know that we need God’s help and we pray to him. He will help us and he will give us grace because he loves us because we are a child of God.
what the scripture is telling me is that even though jesus does not want to be known at times jesus still provides us with the help we need. but the most important thing that is there should be taken care of first.
Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter.” How easy does that seem. God can say one sentence, and change a life with it. Why don’t we recognize that we are sinners and go to God? It’s that easy.
I think this scripture is about how if we repent, what we want will be given to us. If we ask we will receive. Jesus wants us to talk to him so he may help us. Jesus will forgive all. He knows that even sinners have troubles and need to be helped sometimes. He will never reject a soul.
I feel like this woman showed an exellent example of the faith we need to have in Jesus. None of us deserve the grace that God has given us. But because we believe, and we have faith, he CHOSE to give us this great gift, and we need to understand that that is what grace is. A GIFT.
Excellent point and great reflection, Quin! Good job!
The woman knew she wasn’t enough for Jesus yet, she still asked. Just like Jesus says ask and you shall receive. Jesus knew her as one of his lost sheep. He loves every single one of them no matter what.
Jesus understands, even though according to His religion this lady was not worthy but he still healed her daughter, she had faith in Jesus and believed he could do it, so he did.
God does not discriminate. We all have sin in our lives at one point. we all need to do what the Syrophoenician woman did and turn to God.
God is here to help us. Don ´ t be embarrassed to turn to him for repentance. don ´ t be embarrassed to go in the line to confession. it is better to get rid of sin down here on earth than up in purgatory. turn to God and he will forgive you.
We need to have faith and trust God always, no matter how hard it can be. We just have to believe in Him and trust that He will always be there for us. Jesus always loves us no matter what. His love is unconditional and He will never stop loving us. Everything He has done has all been for us.
What stuck out to me was “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” This stuck out to me because it is telling us we need to make sacrafices to make it to heaven. Jesus is very important and we need to make sacrafices for him.
The woman comes up to Jesus asking for the demon to be driven out of her daughter. this woman wasn’t clean according to Jewish law but she had faith and persistence and desire for her daughter to be helped so she was.
What I think this is saying is that we can always reach out to God no matter what. He is always there for us and will always hear our prayers when we are in need. He loves us all and is always going to help us during our hard times. But we must reach out to him and ask for help and he will be by our side helping us through our struggles.
To me this gospel is trying to tell me Gods way and path for me. In the scripture Jesus drove the demon out of here because she asked. When we ask for Gods grace and help we will relieve. Speaking of that we have to trust in gods plan and path that he has planned us then we will be rewarded with the gift of enteral life.
“He said to her, “Let the children be fed first. For it is not right to take the food of the children and throw it to the dogs.” She replied and said to him, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter.” When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed and the demon gone.” This spoke out to me because it is basically stating that there is still good in the world and that not everyone will harm others. We always think of our needs first but we don’t think of what other people need. This is saying let the children go first and stop always wanting to be first in everything or be the best at it. We all need to remember that not everything is about us and that there are people out in the world who need more help than we do.
“Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.”
Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go.
The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
This scripture tells us that even through every addiction or sickness God will save us. We might not always understand how He saved but He has. We also have to be humble like the women, she knew she was not perfect, and that Jesus could heal her. She is unclean according to Jewish law. She has not been raised in Jewish ways and does not understand or know about the story of God and His chosen people of Israel. This is why Jesus says, “Let the children be fed first (Jews).” She perseveres, “Lord, even the dogs under the table eat the children’s scraps.” She understands that she is not worthy but she believes Jesus has the power to heal her daughter who she loves.
this scripture shows us that Jesus can do anything. The lord is always there for us He understands us. If you are holy God will help you.
“Let the children be fed first. Let us be filled with your grace and love God. This is what gets us to Heaven and the dogs under the table are the evil that eat away at our grace and love and fill us with sin.
I think this is telling us to always have trust in God and to know that he does not judge anyone. This woman knew that she was not worthy of God but still had trust and him. She knew that his love goes out to every single person.
The woman, who was not a christian, put her trust into someone she hasn’t met before just because of His influence. She understood the power that Jesus had, and she put that power into effect.
I think that today’s scripture is saying that we need to trust in God. When we show faith in God he shows us what He can do to impact our life. He loves us so much and we need to listen to His voice.
We are gonna have to stay with Jesus and some days we will be tempted by the devil but we have to block him out ignore him do whatever we can to get rid of him. In life were gonna get tempted a lot and we need to not do the bad things we all are gonna sin it is something that just happens as human beings the best we can do is stop doing the same sin and sin less than what we usually do.
I think the Scripture is saying we must have great faith in God and Jesus to do practically anything. Without faith there is nothing but with faith there is Paradise. Jesus wants the best for us and helps us greatly but we must also put in effort towards Him to pray often.
“Then he said to her, “For saying this, you may go. The demon has gone out of your daughter.” Jesus knew that this lady is a sinner, yet He still did this for her. We are sinners, and just because we are doesn’t mean Jesus doesn’t care about us. Jesus would do anything for us. Even though we sin, He still loves and is waiting for us.
“Soon a woman whose daughter had an unclean spirit heard about him. She came and fell at his feet. The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she begged him to drive the demon out of her daughter.” Stood out to me. It shows that we just need to have faith in Jesus, and that He will help us when we have faith and ask it of Him. God doesn’t want us to suffer, we need to trust in Him.
The woman in this scripture kneels in front of Jesus to drive out the demon in her daughter. I think that we should be like this woman, because we should not beg for forgiveness for ourselves, but also for those around us. We should believe in God’s power – believe that he can take the demons out of us.
I think the Scripture is saying Jesus heals all. Jesus cleansed a girl from a demon. Jesus can heal everyone with the power of God. Jesus can give us strength to resist the temptation of sin.
It is saying that the woman went for help because her daughter has a demon inside her. We need to go to Jesus for help but we need faith and be able to believe Him.
Seeing how this woman has so much faith in Jesus is so beautiful. She would be someone I would look up to. The way she trusted Jesus with her own daughter is amazing. Because as a mom it would probably be hard to trust a stranger. But she had so much faith to beg him to drive the demon out of her daughter.
God doesn’t want us to suffer, we just need to trust in Him.
What I’m getting from this scripture is that He will be there for you always. He will be your savior whenever you need Him. The more you look for the love of Jesus the better you feel. Don’t overlook Him; be there with Him all the way..
Have faith in the Lord. If a women who has not been raised in the faith can trust in the Lord 100% why can’t we. We need to offer our life to the Lord and have complete faith in the Lord even when it is hard. God tells us all the time to believe, and now is the time we start.
This scripture is talking about how Jesus was passing by and there was a women with her daughter who had a demon inside of her and Jesus was going somewhere but the demon noticed Jesus being present there and that she must feed her children and i think this is talking about that we should always ask for forgiveness for all of our sins.
For saying this, you may go.” Jesus healed the woman’s daughter, she believed that he could. Jesus tested her faith by declining to help her at first, but she was desperate and asked him again. She kept asking and he healed her daughter. Ask and you shall recieve.
This woman has faith. She believes God can heal her daughter even when it seems as if the answer is “later.” She persists. She tries. If we were more like her, would we trust God completely? Would we allow him to become the center? Would we let Him be our life? Would we be willing to devote ourselves to God and defend the Faith? With faith like this woman’s, we could.
Today´s scripture passage has many different meanings. The way Jesus told me to look at it is that Jesus is always here for us, through the good and bad. He will be here for us all the time. But we have to ask and be open.
At the start of this scripture it says how Jesus didn’t want to be noticed and I think that this shows that even Jesus needs some free time, Celebrities always have reporters next to them pressing with comments, I think that we just need to think of ourselves not about how another person is.
Today´s scripture passage has many different meanings. The way Jesus told me to look at it is that Jesus is always here for us, through the good and bad. He will be here for us all the time. But we have to ask and be open.
I think God is trying to tell us his power is infinite. He can cast demons out and do anything he wants. God can do anything he wants but he chooses to only do good when he could be a terrible God but he is a perfect God
When the woman went home, she found the child lying in bed
and the demon gone
This can show us even in our darkest times God will always deliver and help us
This scripture reminded me of if you’re ever in trouble or stuck just pray to God. Though this scripture passage has so many meanings the one thing that stuck out to me was this.
When we go to God, he can heal us. But if you had the power to heal someone, would you choose a stranger?God can heal us if we aren’t strangers to him.
Jesus is for everyone. I love this story because it has a lady who is ‘unclean’ in the eyes of the Jews. Yet Jesus loved her with the same compassion. God loves you and me all the same. Even if you think God has favorites He doesn’t.
I think that Jesus/God wants to help us, but there are shockingly few that even trust him enough to let him help us. We cannot afford to go on not trusting the very person that saved us all from sin, from Satan!
Faith consists of complete trust in God. It’s hard. In the most difficult times in your life, the worst addictions, the hardest sin, do you believe God has the power to help you through it? We should stick with faith with how you stick to the side of your best friend you should be permanently stuck with Jesus at his side and help each other. All that Jesus asks of us is to stick with Him and that should be an easy task. The real question is, Are you going to act like a best friend to God and help each other?
I like this because it shows to me that when you start building a life with God you will notice that you are being more happy and loving too. God will always be by your side no matter what so when you feel alone remember god is always with you.
today the scripture says to me that God has power over even the demons and is able to cast them out. the woman asked and Jesus gave his love is radical and unconditional. he leaves 99 for the 1. So we should strive to love one and other and love him as he loves us.
“He could not escape notice.” This stuck out to me because he doesn’t want people to see Him, He wants us to try and find Him. We need to find God because God is not going to come to us and beg us to love Him. He is going to wait until you are ready to love Him and serve Him. Then He will make himself known to you once you ask Him to make himself known.
We need to believe in God to get to heaven. God sacrificed his life for us now we need to repay him by spreading the word of God.
The woman that told Jesus to take away her child’s demon even though she did not believe in God or the Jewish faith she believed that Jesus could heal her baby because she loved she believed Jesus could heal her daughter.
What stuck out to me was that it is pretty much saying that faith is when you fully trust God. And it is hard to do it because it can be hard to trust people. But God loves us so much, and we have to trust him in return and know he has a plan for each and everyone of us.
“She came and fell at his feet”. Even though this woman was not Jewish or catholic she trusted in Jesus. She persevered and showed that even though she is unclean, Jesus has the power. This woman put her child’s needs before her own by asking for the demon to be driven out of her daughter rather than asking for herself to become clean.
What I got from this is that God has the power to help you get through anything and all you have to do is ask and pray. No matter what kind of sin or addiction it is God will help you through it.
What stuck out to me is even though the woman wasn’t a Jew or believes in God Jesus still did take the demon out of her daughter. This stuck out to me because he will do anything for us but we have to come to him first and pray to ask.
We often want what we want now, or we don’t like you. We need to accept that oftentimes, we need to trust God, because he is the master planner, Lord of all creation. We need to understand that He knows everything, and like the woman, we are unworthy. We need to go to God and ask His forgiveness for serious sins, before we receive Him. God knows everything, we need to just trust in Him, and live our lives the best we can, with His help, of course. Viva Cristo Rey!
For God every one is worthy to receive the Eucharist, no matter what background. You could be 75% Russian with a relation to Mr. Putin, and still you ll be able to revive the Eucharist and go to Heaven.
Many people are corrupted today by sin, and don’t believe in God. It’s up to us, Catholics, to restore the non-believers, just as Jesus did with the woman’s daughter. They will resist the Truth, but that is simply because they’re afraid of God. Don’t resist God yourselves, or you’ll spend an eternity in Hell.
He entered a house and wanted no one to know about it
He didn’t want to have people freak out when they saw him

We are all children of Christ whether we believe in him or not. Jesus is filled with an infinite amount of mercy for us but at times we are too afraid to ask for it. We need to trust him to take care of us. We are always being tested and tempted by the demons lurking in our world. We can always turn to God for help and guidance because we should know he will always be there for us.
