Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.

While Jesus was speaking to the crowds,
his mother and his brothers appeared outside,
wishing to speak with him.
Someone told him, “Your mother and your brothers are standing outside,
asking to speak with you.”
But he said in reply to the one who told him,
“Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?”
And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, he said,
“Here are my mother and my brothers.
For whoever does the will of my heavenly Father
is my brother, and sister, and mother.”  MT 12:46-50

What is the Will of the Father? You are His “the one”. You are His creation. He loves you more than you love yourself. He loves you more than anyone could love you. Need proof? He sent His only Son into the world to save us not condemn us. We deserve to die for our sins. God the Father wants you to be in heaven with Him forever.

What is the requirement to follow God’s Will? You must give up your will (kill your ego), allow Christ to transform your life by making Christ the center of your life, and carry your daily crosses. You must follow the commandments, fast, and pray without ceasing. You must forgive and show mercy. Most importantly, Jesus just wants you to be His friend and talk to Him and spend time with Him. God’s love is the most powerful thing in the world. You have this love in you. You are a child of God through Baptism. The reward, eternal life. Use this time which is a gift from God to find out your mission and purpose, then kill your ego, light the world on fire with love, and strive each day to do the Father’s Will.

3 questions to ask daily to check if you are doing God’s Will by Fr. Mike Schmitz: 1. Am I in the state of grace? 2. Did I pray today? 3. Am I doing my daily tasks?

Today’s challenge: Do the Will of the Father.

Be a servant, become a saint!
