Prayer Prompt before reading MT 9:27-31 Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray well, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father and Son are so that I may know who I am.
“DO YOU BELIEVE THAT I CAN DO THIS?” MT 9:27-31
Humbly submit your will to God (thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
What do you believe Jesus can do for you? It doesn’t matter if you can feel Him, touch Him, or see Him. How you view God can only be determined by your effort to work on a relationship with Him? Do you believe in Him?
”Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am in the midst of them.” Mt 18:20
“This is my body” “This is my blood a new and everlasting covenant” Mt 26:26-28
“But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go. For if I do not go, the Advocate will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.” Jn 16:7
Jesus is still with us hidden behind a consecrated Host (so we can approach Him, so we can consume Him and put Him inside of us-meditate on that after you receive Him at Mass and in Adoration-we are so blessed to be able to approach God). Jesus is with us guiding us through the Holy Spirit. Jesus is with us when we pray and Jesus is alive in the Scriptures. His Word will never pass away. Jesus is in each person we meet each day.
What do you believe Jesus can do for you? He is always present, we have to bring ourselves into His presence all throughout the day. He never leaves, we leave Him through our choices and life, of course. He is always waiting for you, patiently waiting to start or continue a powerful relationship that will last for all eternity.
He died for a reason, if we don’t come to Him in reconciliation, we are taking away the power of the cross. Find a permanent home with Jesus starting today, work on it through Advent, then keep working on it for the rest of this life into the next. May our “eyes be opened” to the presence of Jesus in our midst.
Today’s challenge: Take time to allow your “eyes to be opened” and find Jesus in your midst. Rededicate yourself to Jesus and ask Him for whatever your heart desires so that you may move closer to Him this Advent.
We are all saints in training.
Be a servant, become a saint!
