Listen to the Inspired Word of a God at Mass!
John writes in his letter about love. “God is love. In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as expiation(repair) for our sins.” 1 John 4:7-10
In Marks Gospel, Jesus feeds the 5,000 with five loaves and two fish. This is a foreshadowing of the Eucharist at the Last Supper. Jesus IS the Son of God who came into the world to take the place of our sins and still remains with us in the Eucharist. At the Last Supper Jesus says there is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. God is love and it is impossible for Him to stop loving us. Open yourself up to this love and thank God each day for His great love, then share it with someone!
