Jesus leaves us two radical challenges today, love your enemies and don’t judge! These both are born into our very nature. We sometimes do them without thinking, so why is Jesus asking us to do this right after He gives the beatitudes yesterday. Jesus came into the world and turned it on its head, He was very radical. I believe His point is if we are willing to deny ourselves, pick up our cross, and follow Him we can overcome our human shortfalls and be like Him. He came to transform us.
