Prayer Prompt before reading JN 14:7-14: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father is and God the Son so that I may know who I am.

“IF YOU KNOW ME, THEN YOU WILL ALSO KNOW MY FATHER.” JN 14:7-14

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Philip is asking Jesus to show the disciples (humans) a visible manifestation of God. Jesus replies, “Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?” Jesus is revealing that He is one with the Father. They are connected by love. Jesus is trying to help us understand that since God the Father “created us in His image and likeness”, we are all connected in God by love.

We are God’s handiwork and never unloved or alone. Think about that for a second. Now try to keep it on your mind all throughout the day. It will change the way you see things and the way you will treat those God puts in your life each day. God is love and He created you never to be unloved or alone, ever! No matter how many times you sin or how big the sin is, His grace and mercy are bigger. He is the Father of the prodigal son waiting to welcome you back. Love always wins!

Today’s challenge: Remind yourself all throughout the day that you are connected to the Creator by love and so is every person you meet today. We are all connected. This should transform our relationships and the way we treat one another.

Be a servant, be a saint today!
