AMEN, I SAY TO YOU, WHOEVER DOES NOT ACCEPT THE KINGDOM OF GOD LIKE A CHILD WILL NOT ENTER IT.” MK 10:13-16
Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Today, Jesus compares the Kingdom of God to a child. The commentary on these verses in the Bible explain that we must become obedient and totally dependent on the Gospel (God). Why does Jesus compare entering the Kingdom of God with children? Observe a child sometime.
They don’t know how to be fake or wear a mask. They don’t worry about what others are thinking about them. They say what they mean. They get lost in whatever they are doing and just play. They are simple and true to themselves. They are completely dependent on their caretaker. “The best moments in life are when we lose ourselves in the world and just are as God wants us to be.“–Bishop Barron
In our spiritual lives, we too, must become like a child to enter the Kingdom of God. We must not worry about what others think of us, we must be exactly who God made us to be and rely totally on God and His Will for our lives. How do we find out who we are supposed to be? Pray. There is no greater way to come to know our Lord than through prayer.
Today’s challenge: Make prayer a habit so you know who God made you to be, then become like a child and enter the Kingdom of God.
Be a servant, be a saint today!
