Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.
Jesus said to the crowds:
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him,
and I will raise him on the last day.
It is written in the prophets:
They shall all be taught by God.
Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me.
Not that anyone has seen the Father
except the one who is from God;
he has seen the Father.
Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever believes has eternal life.
I am the bread of life.
Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died;
this is the bread that comes down from heaven
so that one may eat it and not die.
I am the living bread that came down from heaven;
whoever eats this bread will live forever;
and the bread that I will give
is my Flesh for the life of the world.” JN 6:44-51
“I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” Jn 6:44-51
God is found in communion. God is joy and we are a result of Him overflowing with joy. We are a result of love. Love wills the good of the other and does something about it. God is love and ALWAYS wills our good. Adam and Eve broke this joy by not trusting, so God set out to reconcile Himself with His creation. He does this through a sacrificial meal. The Old Testament sacrificial meal comes to us at Passover. God instructed Moses and the people to eat bitter herbs (to remind them of their bitter slavery) and unleavened bread (they were in a hurry to get away so they did not have time to let the bread rise), and a roasted lamb (daubed the blood on the doorposts so the angel of death would pass over their homes). God later feeds them with manna in the desert.
The new sacrificial meal or new Passover is Jesus Christ. Isaiah prophesies that “He will be like a sheep led to slaughter.” Today, Jesus teaches us He is the bread of life and we must eat His Flesh to have eternal life. Jesus has made a host for us everyday. Go to Mass as often as possible and be in full communion with God. This is the way God has chosen to give Himself to us from the Last Supper until He returns. Most importantly, as Bishop Robert Barron puts it, “Jesus just wants to be our friend. He wants to set around the supper table and have a great conversation.” The supper table is the altar, God calls all of us together to it each Sunday, and Jesus feeds our souls for the journey. Thank you, Jesus!
Today’s challenge: Allow Jesus to be your friend! Talk to Him every day about everything. There is nothing more that He wants than to be your best friend. How do you develop a friendship? Spend time with them. Find a place to make a habit of spending time talking to Jesus and learning about Him in the Scriptures. Read one of the 4 Gospels all of the way through. It will only take a few minutes each day of your time and it might be the biggest conversion experience you will ever have.

Today Jesus tells us that whoever believed in Him will have eternal life. It almost sounds easy, that all we need to do is believe. It is not easy though, and we fight that fight every day. Santan is trying to pull us away from God, but if we truly believe that won’t happen. If Santan gets hold of us, we might have eternal death. If we believe in Jesus we will have eternal life.
This tells me that Jesus is someone we can talk to the relationship isn’t forced we can go to him as a friend we don’t need to force our relationship he is always going to be there for us.
The Eucharist is what separates us from the rest of the religions. If we truly believe that it is the Body of Christ we should try and receive it as much as possible. The Eucharist is the way of life and our way to heaven, It is the closet we can get to God outside of heaven.
How can you have life unless you have life within you?
bread is the body of christ and we need to understand for mass to make it matter.
Jesus is telling us that we can’t live our life without him. He is the bread of life for the world. If we don’t believe in him, we can’t have eternal life. We won’t get to heaven just by living a normal life on earth, but we will if we believe in Christ.
This shows us that we need to make the right choices to eat the bread of life.
What I learned about this gospel is that God is in the communion and it’s a honor that we receive him. We should be grateful that we have him inside us every Sunday. This makes our relationship stronger and makes us stronger.
Jesus is saying that we need God. Everything is possible with God and the most important thing in the world is having a good relationship with God.
“Not that anyone has seen the Father except the one who is from God” God won’t typically give you a sign that He is here. He won’t show up in a dream or call your name in the distance. Faith is not seeing and believing. That is why it is called a ‘leap of faith’.
In todays gospel God is telling me that if we believe in God we will be able to live with God in Heaven when we die. If we don’t follow Him we will fall into the devils hands and go to Hell.
The scripture today is telling me that we need to take the phrase “live forever” in context. It doesn’t mean that we will live mortally forever, but that we will die to sin but live in Christ. We will die in this world but we will live in the next.
Today, Jesus tells us that He is the bread of life, and whoever eats this bread will live forever. Whoever believes in the Father and the Son will not die. I need to continue to believe in God and receive communion every Sunday. When I receive communion, I need to recognize it is truly Jesus’s body.
“Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.” Jesus says this because before Jesus they never had the Eucharist but now that Jesus died and resurrected, we can have the Eucharist and we can live forever.
God is the bread of life and we shall feed off Him, He brings life and joy.
This scripture is saying to follow Gods path and he will lead you to Heaven. If we pray we get closer to God and that’s one of the only ways we can grow a relationship with him.
The scripture said, “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever;” This tells me that If you eat the bread you will go to heaven. But you must fully believe that Jesus is the bread of life. When you believe this you will understand what Jesus did for us.
Today’s gospel is about how Jesus is the bread of life. He is truly the living God and we can’t forget that.
Jesus gave us his body as way to save us from all sin and to keep us closer to him. people thought this was so crazy that they left and didn’t want to follow him.
No one can get to God without Jesus. He is the way. You must eat his flesh in the form of bread and truly believe it is him.
It’s important to listen to Jesus. Jesus is the bread of life and it’s crazy to think about that if someone comes into the class and says, eat my flesh we would think that person is crazy. But that’s basically what Jesus is doing. My favorite line from this teaching is,”I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.”
This means that the Eucharist is thanksgiving
What reached out to me was when Jesus said, “I am the bread of life.” What this means to me is that Jesus is the true Messiah.
In today’s scripture I feel like God is trying to tell us that He is in the bread and we need to remember that. A lot of people during Church go just for saying they went but we need to remember that we are receiving God not just bread.
Jesus is the One True God. Most Jews don’t believe in Him. They say that what he is teaching is blasphemy. Most Jews turn and leave. This religion is based in faith. We have to believe in Jesus if we want to be saved.
I think that this scripture is telling us that we have to come to God to be saved, we have to put in the effort to get closer to Christ. Today we will celebrate May Crowning, we can get closer to Christ with Mary, Jesus ´ mother.
Jesus’s flesh is sacred, so sacred that consuming it will wash away all your mortal sins. It is His flesh that heals us, reminds us of our duty, and blesses the word. I think that that is truly amazing. “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” These lines stood out to me the most.
Receiving the Eucharist takes away venial sin, but we must go to confession to be forgiven of mortal sin. The Eucharist helps us fight mortal sin.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” Jesus told us how we will live forever if we eat His flesh. There was a split in the world about if the Eucharist is a symbol or the real thing between Catholics and Christians. As Catholics we know and believe it is the real thing we have facts and proof that it is.
It says that if you believe that Jesus is the Son of God. If you need to have faith that Jesus is the Son of God and you will get an eternal life.
This scripture saying how Jesus is telling us that he is the living bread and that our ancestor ate bread but not from the living bread and that what they died but if you eat the living bread then you will live forever and it saying that there is only one thing we basically need and that is Jesus because he is the one who gives life and death and it also says that we should be taught by Jesus.
In this Gospel Jesus tells us to eat his flesh and drink his blood. God wants us to do that so that we could have eternal life with Him. God gave manna to their ancestors and yet they still died. Only Jesus’ blood and body is enough. Jesus says, “I am the bread of life.” Jesus gives us life through His body.
Jesus in this Scripture is Having His last Supper before He is Crucify. We always should follow Jesus and trust him and we can get closer to him by when we pray.
In todays reading “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever” stuck out to us. This stuck out to me because Jesus told us that he was Gods son and of course we didnt believe him. I dont think I would have either. Unless I pray.
In the Gospel Jesus says to the disciples that he is the bread of life. We need to know that the Eucharist is Jesus. It’s not just a peace of bread that resembles Jesus, it is Jesus. We receive Him so He can be with us.
Jesus was telling us the bread is his body.
“Everyone who listens to my Father and learns from him comes to me.” This Gospel really hit me hard today, because I got the message that listening to the Father and learns from him comes to the Lord. Listening to your wrongdoings, your mistakes, and things you do not want to do or hear, is hard, but is separates you from the rest, from the everybody else, be yourself and follow God, listen to him, learn from him, and you shall have eternal life.
Jesus is our only Savior. He is the one that can make us live or die. He should be the center of our lives and nothing else. We can pray to him to help us.
Jesus IS the Father. He will save us. He is the way to eternal life, and we must trust Him. When we eat the Body of Christ, we have eternal life with God and the Trinity. He loves us so much He gave his own Body and Blood for us to eat and go up to Heaven with Him.
Today Jesus tells us that whoever believed in Him will have eternal life. It almost sounds easy, that all we need to do is believe. It is not easy though, and we fight that fight every day.
what the scripture is telling me is that the eucharist is really the body of Christ and if you eat you will get eternal life and whoever beleives also gets eternal life.
This scripture is telling us how important the Eucharist is, and how it is a gift to be able to receive it. We need to recolonize what is actually going on when we receive God into us, and how he is in us for a couple of minutes.
“No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draw him” We can get to heaven unless we go through the Father. We need to pray and go to Mass regularly, receive the Eucharist, and go to confession. We cannot get to heaven unless we go through the Father, or we go through what he has given us.
Jesus was telling us about the eurchrist being apart of him.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven;whoever eats this bread will live forever;and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” Jesus is telling us to believe in him. He is telling us that he is God. He offered himself up to us so we could be saved. That’s why he’s the lamb of God.
“this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.” Everytime we eat His saccred Flesh we are healed from out sins. This bred is now His Flesh that came down from heaven. When we believe in Jesus with our whole heart and soul we will eat and have eternal life with Him.
What stood out to me was, “I am the bread of life.” This stood out to me because Jesus is in the Eucharist. Jesus is the bread of life. He is the living thing. God is there for us at Church, school, at home, and everywhere. Jesus will never leave you. He will forgive but He will never let you go. Go to confession if you did something really bad or you just need to say things that are private. Jesus will listen and He will answer your prayers.
I think today’s scripture passage is trying to tell us that we need to receive the Eucharist, and truly believe it is God’s body. If we do receive his body and blood and believe it is true, then we will have eternal life in Heaven with him.
We need Jesus to go to Heaven. We need to go to mass and receive God through the Eucharist. We need His graces to get to Heaven. We can get more through the sacraments. We need God.
They shall all be taught by God. he said They shall all be taught by God. i want this to resignate with you. he the all mighty god want so teach us sinful non perfect human beings that is how much he loves us.
This gospel is saying that we should go to Mass and receive the Eucharist. Jesus is present at Mass, shouldn’t we want to be in the presence of God? To have eternal life we need to go to Mass and we need to receive the Eucharist.
Jesus is trying to tell us that we should worship him and learn more about Him. He is the only God there will ever be. He will give eternal life if you take His flesh, believe in Him.
Jesus is trying to tell us that we should worship him and learn more about Him. He is the only God there will ever be. He will give eternal life if you take His flesh, believe in Him, and if you are with Him.
I think this scripture is telling us that we can’t get to heaven without God. It says “Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever believes has eternal life. I am the bread of life.” No one can get to heaven if they don’t even believe in the Holy Spirit.
“I am the bread of life. Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die. I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” Jn 6:44-51. This bible verse stuck out to me because it is literally telling us that we must eat his flesh and drink his blood so he may be in us forever.
Jesus is proclaiming that if you eat His flesh, you won’t die. Now obviously, He meant spiritually dying, but still, eating flesh? Just so you don’t die? That sounds disgusting. If He would have told that to me during the time of Jesus, I would’ve thought Him to be crazy. Yet, Jesus just wants to be as close as possible to us. The only way for Him to be physically in us, we have to eat Him. That sounds weird, but we are. We are eating Jesus Christ, so that He may enter us. In this way, we physically have Jesus inside of us.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” Jesus is foreshadowing the Last Supper here. Not only is He foreshadowing the Last Supper, He is telling us that if we eat His flesh, we will have Eternal Life. Here, His words symbolize the Eucharist, His body (flesh). When we eat the Eucharist, it washes our sins away because we are literally eating the flesh of God. We get to God in Heaven by eating His flesh and drinking His blood.
Jesus tells us that he is the bread of life and who ever comes to Him will have eternal life. He also said that who ever believe in Me will have eternal life.
The Eucharist is what sets us from different religions. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. We the people need to work on going to Mass on Sunday’s to spend time with Jesus and most of all eat His flesh and have Eternal Life.
God will always be there for us but we have to know he’s there and we have to choose him. God is the bread of life and he loves us so much.
I think that this Gospel passage is saying, whoever doesn’t go to daily Mass, doesn’t receive the Eucharist, doesn’t have Eternal Life with God in Heaven. But, if you do everything God asks of you, you will like Happily with Him forever.
“They shall all be taught by God.” In today’s Gospel this stuck out to me. It means that God is present, he is a firsthand teacher, he came in the flesh so that we can be taught like in today’s reading when the man says ” how can I know what the scriptures mean, if no one teaches me?” God is our teacher, and he tells us to teach from his word.
Jesus is the bread that came down from Heaven and whoever eats His flesh will have eternal life. He wants us to eat His flesh and drink his blood and be one with the Trinity. He wants to unite us in love. However, there are many people who did not believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist and thought it was cannibalism. For this reason, many left the church.
God is the person we need to follow to get to eternal life with Him in Heaven. There isn’t anyone else that is as good and Holy as He is.
This is telling me Jesus isn’t forcing our religion on us. Because when we listen to the Father we come to Jesus. We come to Jesus by choice and he isn’t making us. And as we believe in him Jesus gives us his body and blood hidden in the form of bread and wine. If we believe in Jesus and eat his body and blood we will have eternal life.
In today’s Gospel, Jesus is telling me that He is giving up His body for us so that we can live eternally with Him in the Kingdom of Heaven. “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.” He is willing to offer up His body and life for us because of His love. If you want to live eternally in peace, Go towards God and He will guide you to Eternal Life.
Jesus is talking about the Eucharist. The Eucharist is truly Jesus body, blood, soul, and divinity. We need to have every ounce of our mind to believe this. This is difficult because there really is no first hand proof for most people, unless you witnessed a Eucharistic miracle. Still, we must trust God and believe in the Eucharist.
Jesus’s flesh is found in communion. We eat His flesh and drink His blood so that we may have eternal life. We will be taken into heaven when we die because we have believed in Jesus. He taught us this. So we have been taught by God. Eternal life in heaven with Jesus sounds amazing. Come eat His flesh and drink His blood, and proclaim your faith. Eternal life shall be granted to those who do as Jesus says and believes.
In today’s Gospel it says “Your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, but they died; this is the bread that comes down from heaven so that one may eat it and not die.” This shows us that we can’t live without Jesus and the Eucharist. If we only believe in Earthly things, we won’t be able to have eternal life. Believing in only Earthly things may seem to be working when we are on Earth, but in reality we will pass away someday and you will only get eternal life if you live like God wants us to.
They shall all be taught by God. This one thing that is said by the prophets. If they have learned, whoever believes has eternal life. We see this in the Last Supper with Jesus and the 12 disciples. He IS the bread of life. “And the bread that I will give is my Flesh for the life of the world.”
“I am the bread of life.” speaks the Lord. “Whoever believes has eternal life.” We go to mass three times a week, which is such a blessing, but can also cause us to forget the blessing of it. Many times we go through the motions without even thinking about the importance of them in our lives. Jesus reminds us today the importance of this so that we may more fully understand why this is. Je tells us over and over, if we believe in Him and eat His flesh, we shall live forever. The question I ask myself is: Am I willing to die for what I’ve dedicated my time to my whole life? Do I believe in what I’m saying I believe in? Am I trying my best to live my faith?
Today, Jesus is telling us that he is the bread of life. That he is the way to eternal life and salvation. Now hearing that the is the Bread of life must have been weird to the disciples. Bread is something you consume, so consuming Jesus is the way to eternal life. The answer is yes, but not in the way they would have thought. Not in a cannibal way, but in an extrodinary act of putting himself into the unleavend bread we eat at mass each day. That bread we eat is the bread of life, we consume and put into us salvation.
Our religion is wholly based on faith. We have to believe in God. It is said in the scripture. “Whoever believes in me shall have eternal life.” “Whoever eats this bread will live forever.” Though we have to believe in God we have to trust in Him as well. We know that God loves us and wouldn’t ever abandon us.
whoever believes has eternal life, whenever I see one of my friends grow farther from God it makes me sad because I want to spend eternity in Heaven with them. Also, this is saying how we need to open our eyes and see the Lord, for He is all loving and always forgiving.
Jesus is saying that we need to worship him and only him, we need to want him to get far in life (Heaven).
This Scripture is telling us how important the Eucharist is and how it is a gift to be able to receive it. We need to recolonize what is actually going on when we receive God into us, and how he is in us for a couple of minutes.
God loves us and today we will be doing may crowning for mary and we all brought pretty flowers.
I think that Jesus was saying that He is the one true Savior and we need to believe in Him to be saved.
Jesus tells us the importance of the Eucharist in this reading. He is the bread of life whoever eats from him shall have eternal life. Obviously Jesus doesn’t mean that you will live on earth forever, He means that we will have life in Heaven for eternity. This is infinitely better than living forever on Earth and eternal life in communion with God is the thing that we should give everything for.
The Eucharist is the Body of Christ. We believe that Jesus is the Bread of Life. We receive his grace during Communion, we need to treat it that way instead as just a piece of bread.
How can you live without life within you
To me this Scripture is a reminder that Jesus gave up His literal flesh for the life of the world. We are so ungrateful for the amazing gift He has given us. We don’t seem to realize that Jesus did something we could never do. We need to be so much more thankful than we are.
“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever.” God once again is telling us who he is. He is fulfilling the new covenant. He said Your ancestors ate manna in the desert, but they died. This is the old covenant and God is breaking the old covenant for the new covenant to be full filled so that anyone who believes in him and eats his flesh will live forever.
Today’s Scripture passage is saying that we should believe in the life of Our Savior, Jesus Christ. He will always be there for us and will help us get through good times and bad. Jesus is saying that He is the Bread of Life, the Eucharist we take is His body and we should respect that and be grateful for it.
It ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less They say humility doesn’t come easily And I find that to be true I’ve got a lot of pride, yeah me, myself and I Still got some growing up to do Cause if I want to find the very best life I’ve got to learn to die to myself There’s freedom to be found When I stop and look around And think about someone else Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less If I want to live like Jesus, got to learn to love like he does Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less, self less This ain’t a song about Beating myself down See I am living under grace For God so loved The world so much That I am free to do the same And if I want to find the very best life I’ve got to learn to die to myself There’s freedom to be found When I stop and look around And think about someone else
Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less I want to live like Jesus, got to learn to love like he does Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less, self less God, love people It’s so hard and so simple Love God, love people It’s so hard and so simple ain’t about thinking less of myself, come on
Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less
If I want to live like Jesus, got to learn to love like he does Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less, self less
Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less Ain’t about thinking less of myself, just thinking of myself less
If I want to live like Jesus, got to learn to love like he does
In today’s Gospel Jesus says that anyone who believes in him will have eternal life. However, we need to do more than just believing in Jesus to get to Heaven. We also need too act on our beliefs and live a Holy with God.
This scripture is talking about how we should grow in our relationship with Jesus. He says who ever believes in me will have eternal life. Meaning who ever believes in him will have eternal life.
This scripture is teaching us that the eucharist and communion is thanksgiving to the lord.
We need to go to mass and receive God’s grade to get to heaven.
What I think this is saying it is that he gives himself up to the world. Its up to us to realize that he died for us and that he put us here. We are here because he wanted us to be here and he died for us. We need to worship him forever.
Jesus tells us that His body and blood is what we need to live. He is the Lord and King, of this earth, Heaven, and our hearts. We need to trust in God and let Him lead us to Heaven.
Bread is his body and we need to remember the reason he died for us.
Today’s scripture is very important and very meaningful. Today’s scripture is telling us that Jesus is the true bread of life. You aren’t just eating bread when you receive Communion. You are eating his true flesh. That should be taken very seriously. We receive his body and blood as hole and that isn’t a joke. He is truly the living God. He isn’t fake or pretending. He is real. His body we receive is 100% real. If you truly don’t believe it’s real then you need to cross your arms when you go up to Communion. We also can’t forget that he is the true living God.
It says that we should go to mass and receive Jesus. It is good if we always go to mass and pray to God because he will help us.
jes us al, was withwe us and the anderla and devolsc
This scripture talks about how Jesus will save us from sin. He is the lamb that sacrificed himself for us.
God made everything including all of the prophets that people worshiped and believed everything they said. But people would never believe Jesus and they even crucified Jesus for so called “lying.”
This is a huge part in scripture Jesus is telling us if we eat the bread we will go to Heaven. He is telling us the way to get to Heaven and we need to take this seriously so we can get to Heaven.
I’m gonna say it, the bread is alluding to the body. Jesus is literally saying “I am the son of God, I was sent down from Heaven.” So, to put it simply, Jesus is bread.
If you eat Jesus’ flesh, you will not die. He doesn’t actually mean that, He means that while you will eventually die, if you believe in God you will have eternal life in Heaven.
“I am the bread that came from heaven if you eat me you will have eternal life.´´ This means that if you eat God in the flesh you will live forever with him in heaven.
Today’s Gospel talks about who ever ate the manna in the desert and died. This is the bread that came down from heaven. It also takes about that Jesus is the living bread of life.
“ i am the living bread that came from heaven IF you eat me then you will have eternal life´´. This message is telling us that without Jesus we cant have eternal life with him in heaven.
The challenge for today says allow Jesus to be your friend. We should do that. I mean he DID die on the cross for our sins. Why can´t we appeicate Him?! Jesus lives within you, He walks with you, He´s with you every day, every path, and every step you take! Jesus is with you through hardships. He´s the Son of God.
Jesus tells us that he is the bread of life. He also tell us that those who believe in him have eternal life, and his bread is the flesh for the life of the world. Unlike the manna in the desert, this bread will let us live forever. I can follow Jesus by believing in him and praying daily.
Jesus revealed Himself of us through the Eucharist. He gave Himself to us so we can live with Him in Heaven with eternal life in perfectness. Living a holy life is needed to be able to get to Heaven.
