Isaiah speaks to us and prophesies, “On this mountain the Lord of hosts will provide for all peoples”. Is 25:6-10

This foretells Jesus feeding the 5,000 which foretells the Last Supper. This is how God decided to sustain after Jesus ascended into heaven, while we anxiously await His return.

Jesus feeds the 5,000 in the Gospel, “Then He takes the seven loaves and two fish, gave thanks, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds. They all ate and were satisfied.” Mt 15:29-37

God always takes care of us and will be with us until the very end. Today, He is with us at Mass in 4 ways: 1. In the priest, 2. the Eucharist (foretold today in Scripture), 3. In the assembly (us-Holy Spirit), 4. The Word (which you have in you classroom and home or on the Internet). The last way is one we have discussed a lot this year. Pick up the living Word of God which you have at your fingertips and allow your Creator and Savior to speak to you.

Today, for Advent open up the Bible and find a favorite story or verse.
