“PEOPLE BROUGHT TO HIM A BLIND MAN AND BEGGED JESUS TO TOUCH HIM.” MK 8:22-26

Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.

Prayer Prompt before reading MK 8:22-26: Come, Holy Spirit, teach me how to pray, interpret the Scriptures for me so that I may know the Truth about who God the Father and God the Son are so that I may know who I am.

The cure of the blind man continues the meaning of yesterday’s Gospel in which the Apostles did not understand, see, or trust Jesus. They were lacking faith.  Jesus is slowly revealing Himself as the Messiah, not another prophet.

“May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
enlighten the eyes of our hearts,
that we may know what is the hope
that belongs to his call.” EPH 1 17:18

Faith is a complete gift from God, ask Him to increase faith, hope, and love in you.  The one thing that changes everything is belief and stirs these theological virtues within us.  God, increase our faith in you! Jesus, I believe, help my unbelief.

Today’s challenge: Beg Jesus to touch our hearts and open our eyes so that we may see Him at work in our lives and all around us.

Be a servant, be a saint today!

Jesus is Messiah. He shows us in many ways and that’s why it’s important to put him above all things. When you put someone else or something else above God your relationship weakens. I think of it as a shield. when you pray to God or do something in his will the shield strengthens but when you put something between you the relationship weakens more and more till you no longer talk to God. That is why it’s so important to put God first in everything you do.

in todays scipture it talks about faith, we need to have fain in God and we need to have faith within us. “Faith is a complete gift from God” Faith shows God that He matters more to us than anything else!

“Faith is a complete gift from God” this stands out to me because it shows that God gave us the gift of faith He gave us the gift of life and happiness. He didn’t have to bring us into this world but He chose too and we have to love like He is in us because He is. And by the time we realize that it could be too late.

If we give up our life for Christ we can be saved. After you fall in love with Jesus and come to know his love you will want to share it with others. This is what Jesus wanted this is what the apostles did they spread the scripture of God and Jesus.

“Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary and Joseph.” Today God is telling me that He is the only answer to happiness. When you feel hurt don’t be afraid to talk to Him because He is here for you whenever, and He loves you the most out of anyone. Follow Him and you prayers will be answered. He wont judge you, and instead show you the love that you have been craving for. People on earth have been sent by Him to help you, and to also teach you a lesson. Easier said than done to give everything up to God, but in the end its worth it.
