Humbly submit your will to God (Thy Will be done) and consecrate yourself to the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Mary.
Jesus said to the Jews:
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever keeps my word will never see death.”
So the Jews said to him,
“Now we are sure that you are possessed.
Abraham died, as did the prophets, yet you say,
‘Whoever keeps my word will never taste death.’
Are you greater than our father Abraham, who died?
Or the prophets, who died?
Who do you make yourself out to be?”
Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is worth nothing;
but it is my Father who glorifies me,
of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’
You do not know him, but I know him.
And if I should say that I do not know him,
I would be like you a liar.
But I do know him and I keep his word.
Abraham your father rejoiced to see my day;
he saw it and was glad.”
So the Jews said to him,
“You are not yet fifty years old and you have seen Abraham?”
Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you,
before Abraham came to be, I AM.”
So they picked up stones to throw at him;
but Jesus hid and went out of the temple area. JN 8:51-59
Jesus is taking off the gloves and using fighting words with the Jews now. They picked up stones to throw at Him. Jesus is continuing to stand firm that He is the Son of God and one with the Father who sent Him. ”Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever keeps my word will never see death.” Radical. Jesus puts His Word above death. Are you striving to live His Word?
Next, the Jews ask if Jesus is above the covenant of the Torah given to Abraham by God himself. This is a whopper! Jesus answers, ““If I glorify myself, my glory is worth nothing; but it is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’You do not know him, but I know him. And if I should say that I do not know him, I would be like you a liar. But I do know him and I keep his word. Abraham your father rejoiced to see my day; he saw it and was glad.” Jesus tells the Jews He knows God much better than they do and calls them liars if they do not believe Him. Then, He puts himself above the great patriarch of the Old Testament, Abraham and says that Abraham rejoiced at seeing Jesus, the Savior.
Last, Jesus puts the icing on the cake. The Jews of course ask how Jesus knows Abraham rejoiced at seeing Him. Jesus replies, “Amen, amen, I say to you, before Abraham came to be, I AM.” Jesus calls Himself God once again! These words of Jesus are complete blasphemy or complete Divine Revelation. This is the dividing point for all of us. Do we believe in what Jesus said (ultimately believing He did die and rise making everything He said true)? Or do we kinda believe, or is there time to believe later, or do we not want to totally commit because we might have to change or be transformed. Believing in anything with our whole heart and soul might be the hardest thing we ever commit to. It is going to take an act of God (the death and resurrection of His only Son) to move our hearts and souls to believe in Jesus Christ, His Word, and life after death. ”And when the disciples heard this, they were very astonished and said, “Then who can be saved?” And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” MT19:25-26 Let God love you. He is fighting for you. He sent His only Son for you. Does this mean anything to you and I? God’s entire purpose is to create us, love us, and bring us back home to heaven. Our entire purpose is to gain this knowledge on earth, love Him back, serve Him by loving and serving others doing His will, and returning back to Him in our heavenly home. Distractions, distractions, we allow so many distractions and selfishness to get in the way of this Divine Plan. It’s Lent, pray, fast, give alms and sit quietly in the Adoration chapel or empty church and tell God you are all in, ask Him to take the wheel, it’s time to start living not just existing.
Today’s challenge: Ask Jesus to help you believe. “Jesus, I believe, help my unbelief.” MK 9:24

Be a servant, become a saint!
Whoever follows God, and follows the commandments, will surely go to heaven.
keep Jesus’ word and listen to them. It will lead you to heaven.
jesus is saying that we need to keep him as him and not worship any other gods other than him and we need not to sin against him but to keep holy his name and worship him and only him and pray and trust in him and if we disobey his commands that there will be consequences to it so we need to keep holy his name and follow the commandments
I thin that this passage was a very strong thing and god to read because it can help you know that God is there for you and everything.
This means to trust in Jesus and don’t be a disbeliever.
In this Gospel, Jesus told me to keep His word in order to get to Heaven. This means I must always do His will by serving, loving, believing, praying, following the Commandments (including the New Commandment) , etc. to get to Heaven.
This is all teaching us that it can be hard to believe that we are going to get to Heaven but that is why we go to mass and worship God so that we have a higher chance of getting to Heaven.
Jesus is given his glory from God. This means that Jesus and God ARE the same person.
I think this Scripture Passage is trying to tell me that all of the opinions on God is not true because with Jesus in the Bible everything is the Truth in it So i think we should make Him the center of our life.
If you believe in God and keep his word you will be saved and you shall have no fear.
I can agree with some people for not agreeing with Jesus at first because hes saying hes the son of God-which he is but they need to believe him if they want to get to heaven.
What Jesus is saying is that we need to follow him. Even if that means giving up everything to be with him. He went hrough pain a sorrow just to save us. We can give a little up for him. He is amazing in so many ways.
We need to believe that Jesus is the so of God.
It is time to identify Christ in our hearts so we can go to him. He tells us who He is. HE IS GOD!!! This should draw us in! He Is our Father. We have to carve His name in to our hearts.
I we obey God, then we will go to heaven. We need to trust God.
Jesus reveals to us in this gospel that He is not only human, but Fully Divine when He tells the Jews that He was before Abraham. This is amazing that He explains himself to people He knows will reject Him. I can’t believe how ignorant the Jews were after waiting for their Savior, then crucifying Him.
We need to follow God’s commandments and trust in him.
This means to trust Jesus and His word in our life.
Jesus says we need to follow him evevn if other people don’t
If you want to be a follower of God you must give up everything and pray to God.
I think Jesus is trying to tell us that we need to believe and trust in him even if it seems unbelievable.
This means we must trust in God and believe in Him. If we do, then we will be saved. We just need to remember to not be selfish and get in the way of God’s plan for us. We need to love and serve God and others.
We need to believe in God and pray to him every day so we can get to Heaven.
We need to trust that God has a plan for us and loves us more than anything
We must follow the Commandments of God. We are not to worship any other gods. If we keep holy his name, then we will surely go to Heaven.
Jesus is telling us that he is God and that we need to trust in him. We need to make Jesus known in our hearts and trust in him. We need to make Jesus the center of our lives.
If we follow God then we will live forever with the Lord.
Those Who whole whole heartly, followed and continue to follow God’s word in the scriptures, are doing the right thing, and that is what God wishes for us to do. Those who oppose the true teaching’s in Scripture, are wrong and will not attain God’s grace, and do not are no truly following God’s true word.
We need to believe Jesus when He tells us that we will be granted eternal life.
God is telling us that we should trust and glorify him, and its showing we don´t have that good of trust for God
I feel God is telling me to help others and to talk to others to that is what I think God is telling me.
who ever does Gods will and follows the word will surely go to heaven
I think Jesus is saying exactly what he’s saying. He’s saying, if you “keep his word”, and like trust him and believe him, then you will not die/go to hell.
I believe Jesus is saying exactly what he means, if you trust him, and believe him you will never die/go to hell.
God is saying to us that He is more important to us than anything else and it is Him who we need to be giving all the glory to.
Jesus wants us to follow him and believe in him. even though people don believe in him he still saves us. This tell me that we must always help others.
This is telling me that if I want to be with Jesus in heaven I should follow His teachings.
Jesus is trying to say that we should be more like him and if we can”t than try to be more like him and if we don’t try than what’s the point.
God is telling the Jews that he is God and that he comes from God. He does not glorify himself for then his glory means nothing, but it is us and God that glorify him so it means something. So we must glorify him and give him meaning in our own lives in order for him to give us his glory and show us his true self in the second coming.
People had and have such little belief to where anything slightly is outside their logic they think falsely of it and attempt to kill. Many who can see though will be able to process many great things requiring faith. If your faith is strong you will know what is good in God.
Jesus is teaching us today that we must believe to get to Heaven and how the second coming will be eternal life with God in heaven
If we do the will of God, we will have eternal life in heaven with Him. We need to keep the commandments and live as Jesus did.
Jesus is telling us that we need to fallow the commandments and the beatitudes to get to heaven and must drop everything and be willing to fallow God
Jesus has given up his glory for us.
Jesus is saying that if we glorify ourselves instead of Jesus then our glory means nothing.
First off, Jesus roasted the Jews. The Jews don´t like Jesus cause He´s right. Jesus doesn´t care what the Jews think thought, because He has a job to do.
We must be strong in our faith even when others persecute us for it. We cannot stand by and let our faith be trodden on.
We need to keep Jesus’ word. We also need to follow the commandments so we can go to Heaven.
Jesus tells them that whoever keeps his word will not taste death. The Jews though he was possessed because Abraham and His other greatest prophets who kept his word died. When Jesus tells them they will not taste death, He is not talking about the body but about the soul. If you keep His word you will live with Him forever in Heaven.
We need to always stand up for our faith, just like Jesus stayed strong, knowing that He Himself was God, even when no one believed Him. God is I AM. We are liars if we do not believe that Jesus is the Son of the living God. Don´t let the distractions of this world get in the way of our faith towards God. He wants us in heaven so we must strive to be there in the end, eternally with Him.
As long as we don’t doubt Jesus and spread his word, we will be able to go to heaven with him.
We have to fully commit ourselves to the one, true God. Jesus is showing us that if we want to achieve heaven, we must follow him and only him. No other false gods will get us to heaven, and we have to believe this.
Sinning won’t get us any where with God so we must try to get closer to him and stop sinning. We should try our best to show our love for him and try to live like him if we want to get to Heaven.
The scripture is saying that if we are truly a believer and do Gods will we will go to Heaven.
These Bible verses represent that we need to follow and love God with all that we got.
If we obey God our souls won’t die our bodies may but not our souls. God= Love Jesus= Love and perfection.
If you believe in God and don deny him as your God you will never die.
Jesus is telling me to have no fear and to believe in God
Jesus is God
Jesus wants us to trust Him. He wants us to believe Him.
If we live in the will of God and we keep his word then we will get to heaven. We need to be willing to do this for God because it will help us in the end
Jesus is saying today that we need to be able to forgive people a lot more easier. Also that we should not worship other gods because he is the only God and that we need to stay faithful to him no matter what happens to us because he is the only true God and the only God we as humans/missionaries should worship always. Also how we should not judge other people because all humans sin and we are all human.
Jesus is saying that we will die, but our souls will never die if we follow him and keep his word. He is the father and the father is him. I AM.
Believe in God and you’ll get to heaven.
The scripture today is telling us that if we follow the way, truth, and the light of Jesus Christ we will not die. We will have eternal life with the father in Heaven. He is the ultimate thing that we need to make it in our secular world today. We need to find out who our God is and grow closer to him in a great love.
If you follow God’s word then you shall go to heaven, and have eternal life.
We need ti keep Jesus in out minds and in our life forever. He is all ways there for us and people who don´t trust in him.
If w e follow Jesus and believe in him than we will go to heaven with God and the Angels and saints
Jesus implies that if we keep his word we will have eternal life.
If we know Christ, we should not fear death. We would know that our earthly life is nothing compared to what our heavenly life will be like. Jesus wouldn’t turn down His faith to the Jews, which is something we should be doing. We shouldn’t be ashamed of our faith. We should be proud to live a perfect life together with Christ and the rest of the Trinity in Heaven.
Whoever fully gives themselves to God will see the good! Basically if you follow the commandments and Christ alone you will make it to Heaven.
God loves us so much! We have to believe in him. Even if we feel like he is not there, he is always there with us no matter We have to believe that he is the true God, the one who came to save us!
Jesus is trying to tell us to trust him and we will be forever happy with him in Heaven. He is fully human and fully divine, he is the one true God.
Jesus is telling me that if i believe and trust him then i shall live forever and I shall have no pain.
Jesus is saying that by believing in him we will have life with him in heaven.
God is trying to tell us that not all of us strongly believe in our faith and that we can help believing in our faith more strong by growing deeper and closer to God.
Jesus has done so much for us, He has given us everything, yet we still doubt Him sometimes. We should pray to Jesus when our faith gets weak because Jesus will always welcome us back with open arms.
The gospel is saying that if we put our trust in God and fully truly believe in him then we will be fully saved.
I learned that we need to put are trust in God in order to be close to him and have a good relationship with him.13428709
I learned that we need to trust God and what he does
The Gospel message telling us that if you truly believe and follow God and his teachings you will live for forever with him in his kingdom in Heaven.
If we live our lives trying our best not to sin, we won’t have to be afraid. Living our lives like Christ leads us to Heaven.
Jesus says that if you follow what He teaches then you will go to Heaven.
Jesus is telling us that if we follow Him and believe in Him we will go to Heaven and never taste death, so we need to follow Him.
If we keep following Gods will, we will be granted with eternal live in heaven.
Jesus is saying that people who follow him will not see death but the people think that he is possessed and they don’t believe him. We must believe in God and always trust in him, even if we may not see him with our eyes we can feel him in our hearts. He is calling us and we must always be ready to answer his call, because when we do we will be rewarded with the gift of Heaven and eternal life.
I think that Jesus is saying that we should love him and know him and then we will go to heaven and life eternal life in heaven and not eternal death in hell.
This is saying that Jesus must be our number one. He must be the most important person in your life.
What Jesus is telling us today is that if we keep the Scriptures, Beatitudes, and Commandments, we will live a joyous life, and live a wonderful eternal life with Jesus in heaven.
who ever follows god will not see the face of death . Always trust in God.
